His eyes still held a hint of shock.
The Assassin gave Li Wei no time to react. The sharp blade slashed across his neck, aimed to sever his head.
CRACK!
The impossibly sharp Invisible Blade was stuck.
The blade couldn’t sever the bones in his neck.
His bones were as tough as Dragon Bone.
The dripping blood transformed into a flurry of sparks that flew up to surround the Assassin.
A golden ring of fire appeared in Li Wei’s eyes.

Two intensely hot, crimson rays shot out from his eyes.
The Assassin’s reflexes were astonishing.
Even at point-blank range, he managed to react in time. He quickly abandoned the Invisible Blade, flipping backward to dodge the attack.
The scorching rays shot past the Assassin, carving two molten Traces into the mountain wall. The rock melted and dripped where they passed.
The Assassin was fast, but he was still injured.
The sparks from Li Wei’s blood had ignited his black cloak.
By the time he put out the fire, the cloak had been burned away, revealing his appearance.
The pointed ears on either side of his head proved he was an Elf.
But his skin was black—a type of Elf Li Wei had never seen before.
Laya gasped when she saw the Elf Assassin’s black skin.
"A Zor Elf!"
"Why would a Zor Elf be in the Elf Forest?"
Laya was stunned.
The Zor Elf Race is also known as the Fallen Elf Race.
They don’t live in the Elf Forest.
The Zor Elf Race lives in the pitch-black, lightless Underworld.
They fraternize with the chaotic Dark Races of the Underworld.
The true reason the Elves considered them fallen was that the Zor Elf Race had abandoned their faith in the World Tree and the Elf God, turning instead to worship the Dark Deities of the Underworld.
The Zor Elf Race worships Rose, an evil Divine Spirit of the Underworld.
Worshipping an Evil God was absolutely forbidden.
Thus, the Zor Elves were considered mortal enemies by the other Elves.
Zor Elves are absolutely forbidden from entering the Elf Forest.
That was why Laya had been so shocked to see a Zor Elf.
’A Zor Elf?’
Li Wei watched the black-skinned Elf Assassin, his eyes narrowing slightly.
Having failed his attack, the Assassin quickly retreated, trying to escape.
"Don’t even think about it!"
Li Wei was about to act.
A group of Rock Guards appeared above Li Wei and dove toward him.
The Rock Guards swarmed Li Wei, surrounding him completely.
Laya raised her Magic Staff, preparing to cast Magic and save Li Wei.
A figure appeared behind her and grabbed her arm.
"Don’t move."
Hearing the familiar voice by her ear,
Laya’s heart pounded. In disbelief, she quickly turned to look.
"Niezha, what are you doing here?"
Seeing his face, Laya was utterly stunned.
She never would have imagined Niezha would be here.
When she saw the black cloak Niezha was wearing, Laya froze.
The cloak was identical to the Zor Elf’s.
’Are Niezha and the Zor Elf working together?’
The suspicion instantly surfaced in her mind.
How else could she explain why Niezha would suddenly appear here, wearing the same clothes as the Zor Elf?
Niezha didn’t answer Laya’s question.
He didn’t even glance at her. His gaze was fixed on Li Wei, who was trapped by the swarm of Rock Guards.
Suddenly, a fiery red light burst through the cracks between the tightly packed Rock Guards.
A moment later, a deafening explosion echoed through the valley.
The massive blast sent all the Rock Guards flying through the air.
Laya stumbled back a few steps and cried out in alarm, instinctively shielding her eyes from the flying dust and debris.
Her back bumped into Niezha’s chest, but it gave her no sense of security whatsoever.
Niezha had changed.
He had changed so much she barely recognized him.
She didn’t even know if Niezha was an enemy now.
WHOOSH!
A fierce wind howled.
A tornado shot upward, breaking through the sky above the Grand Canyon.
Li Wei appeared high above the canyon, looking down at the three figures in the valley below.
The Assassin had already joined two other Elves, the ones who controlled the Rock Guards.
Seeing Li Wei break through the siege of Rock Guards and appear before them,
all three were stunned.
"Don’t worry. He’s triggered the Elf Forest’s aerial defenses."
"He’s about to face something far more terrifying than that."
As soon as he finished speaking, the entire Rift Grand Canyon began to tremble.
It was as if an Earth Dragon were rolling over deep underground.
RUMBLE! RUMBLE!
Countless Rock Guards appeared within the Grand Canyon.
Legions of Rock Guards also appeared along the canyon’s rim.
The five-meter boulder that had fallen into the canyon earlier shuddered and transformed into an enormous, eight-meter-tall Rock Guard.
All the Rock Guards looked up in unison, their gazes fixed on Li Wei in mid-air.
A colossal figure emerged from the canyon: a Rock Lord, over a hundred meters tall.

Each step was a dull, heavy thud.
The ground shook with its passage.

An invisible Power erupted from the Rock Lord, spreading out to envelop the space around Li Wei.
Gravity Domain!
VMMMMMM!
The gravity intensified, and in an instant, Li Wei’s body plummeted.
THWAP! THWAP! THWAP!
The three Elves on the cliff were slammed to the ground, the immense gravity crushing the air from their lungs.
The Rock Lord’s Gravity Domain didn’t distinguish between friend and foe.
The only ones unaffected were the Rock Guards.
The Rock Guards activated their Stone Throwing Skill, hurling boulders formed from the Earth Element at Li Wei.
After falling for a short distance, Li Wei managed to resist the suppression of the Gravity Domain.
Just as he tried to fly up again, attacks assailed him from all sides.
A dense barrage of rocks blotted out the sky, covering his position.
WHOOSH!
Empowered by the Gravity Domain, the rocks thrown by the Rock Guards were even more terrifying.

In an instant, the world itself seemed to freeze.

The Holy Flame Domain forcefully carved out its own space within the Gravity Domain.

The Fire Elements of the world gathered before him, coalescing into a massive Fireball.

"Wait!"
Finally, someone who had been hiding nearby could bear it no longer. They stepped out and shouted up at Li Wei in the sky.
Li Wei looked down to see a long-eared Elf with yellow skin and yellow hair appear on the cliff.
On each of her cheeks were three streaks of paint, like the whiskers of a cat.
The female Earth Elf who had suddenly appeared spread her arms and shouted, "Please wait! The Rock Lord means no harm!"
"Rock Lord, stop."
At the Earth Elf’s command, the advancing Rock Lord halted.
A flicker of surprise crossed Li Wei’s face.
The Rock Lord had already reached Tier Six Peak and was just a hair’s breadth from becoming a Legendary Level Elemental Lord.
’To think it would obey an Elf.’
Seeing the Rock Lord stop, Li Wei also ceased gathering power.
However, the massive Fireball he had already conjured did not disappear.
It hovered in mid-air, a threat to all.
The Earth Elf sighed in relief when she saw Li Wei wasn’t continuing his Casting.
She glanced at the huge Fireball floating in the air, knowing the crisis was not yet over.
The Earth Elf quickly said, "Hello, my name is Tina. I’m an Earth Elf from the Yellowstone Territory."
"The Rock Lord didn’t attack you on its own. It only awoke because you triggered the Elf Forest’s No Flying defenses."
"I only just arrived myself."
She was a bit baffled to find a Forest Elf, a Zor Elf, and a Human Mage all in one place.
’What in the world happened here?’
