Herogasm: My SSS-Ranked Maids Can Do Everything!
Chapter 38: [38]The Angel’s teachings.--Chapter 38--
Title: The Angel’s teachings
Takeshi paced around the room..Once the decision had settled in his mind, putting it off until the next day felt more like an excuse than patience.
The manor still carried the leftover warmth of the day, and the lower room that acted as a basement had enough open space for training without anyone needing to move furniture around.
Without any orders, Solaria prepared the area without complaint.
Lana leaned on a near-by wall, her eyes were quiet and observant, while Nyxara had claimed a chair with the obvious expectation that she was here to watch rather than participate.
The orange light of dusk outside had already begun to thin out, sneaking in through a tiny opening in the doors.
Solaria stood across from Takeshi in her maid uniform, her hands clasped together.
Her broken wings remained close to her back, and her skirt pushed up and left little to the imagination whenever she moved around.
None of this went unnoticed to Takeshi. But Solaria also felt an awareness creeping under her skin the way he watched her.
Her eyes moved away from him for a moment before she straightened her posture and took a short breath.
"We begin with your breath control," she said.
’Breath Control? Is this Dem--’ Takeshi curbed the thought before it went on for too long.
"Show me..." He looked at her.
Solaria nodded and stepped closer. Her hands gesturing to him as she explained.
"Inhale through the nose. Make it deep enough to find the center under your chest. Then exhale until the disturbance in the body settles."
Takeshi didn’t fully understand what she meant at first but followed her instructions nonetheless.
His first attempt was too forceful. Drawing in more air than necessary and holding it for far too long before releasing it.
Solaria watched him struggle but she was incredibly meticulous not to get involved.
"Again..," she directed.
Takeshi’s second attempt was even better, but instead of deeper breathes, these were a lot shallower.
Takeshi frowned slightly. He understood the general idea. Breathing exercises were hardly foreign to him.
He had seen enough martial arts shows, and read stories to have some idea of what she was trying to accomplish.
But actually getting to do it was another matter altogether.
On the third attempt, Solaria walked around and stood behind him. Two fingers rested lightly against the center of his back, tapping it.
"Here," she murmured. "You are pushing from your shoulders. Bring it lower."
With her hands on his back, it suddenly made more sense to him, Takeshi adjusted.
This time, he focused less on taking in as much air as possible and more on where the breath was meant to settle.
The sensation he got, changed. His shoulders loosened. And the tension around his chest eased.
For the first time, the breathing felt less like an exercise and more like something his entire body was participating in.
Solaria withdrew her fingers with a reassuring smile. "NICE, Again..."
With a well controlled breath, Takeshi began, settling control exactly where Solaria directed.
She watched with a smile as the room remained quiet except for the slow rhythm of his breathing and the faint movement of fabric whenever Solaria adjusted behind him.
Around the room, the fading light stretched short shadows across the floor.
With one success, Takeshi followed the same pattern again, trying to reproduce the sensation rather than just copying it.
This time, the result came more naturally. Making Solaria give him a small nod.
"That’s better."
Takeshi opened his eyes. "It’s that simple?"
"Yes. For the first step," she went around him again and gave him a faint smile. "Simple does not mean easy, Master."
Patting him on the shoulder. Nyxara and Lana looked at him, with Lana speaking first. "Master the basics."
"This is below you, Master." Nyxara yawned and changed her sitting position. She now sat forward on the chair. Her large breasts pressing exactly where her back was meant to be.
Ignoring Nyxara’s antics, Solaria raised her hand and smiled.
"Stance next," Solaria said and demonstrated the position herself. Her feet settled firmly against the floor, her knees remaining loose rather than locked, while her spine stayed straight without becoming rigid.
At first glance, nothing about the stance looked complicated.
Takeshi replicated it. His first attempt felt stable enough.
Solaria looked him over for a moment before making a small adjustment to his footing.
"Move this foot slightly."
And just as directed, he did. Without understanding why he was even doing it.
"Your weight is too far forward," she ran her fingers around his shoulders. Removing all of the tension.
The difference felt immediate. His body felt more balanced, even though the adjustment itself had been barely noticeable.
"You have a good frame," Solaria said after another moment. "But you’re relying on what feels natural instead of what is actually balanced."
Takeshi raised an eyebrow. "Is that bad?"
"It can be," she slowly stepped around him, examining the position from another angle.
"Magic does not care about muscle. If your frame is unstable, mana will have a harder time moving through it at the beginning."
Takeshi nodded. And for the first time, something made sense to him.
It wasn’t because he understood the mechanics yet, but because the comparison was familiar.
Movies, games and stories had always made power sound simple. Put more energy into the body, swing harder, cast a stronger spell.
Actual control was proving less convenient.
Nyxara snorted from her chair. "Sol makes fighting sound like etiquette."
Solaria did not look at her directly. But you could tell she was staring.
"Control is etiquette for people who do not want to destroy themselves."
Takeshi almost smiled. That sounded exactly like something Solaria or even Lana would say.
He settled back into the stance.
This time, he paid attention to where his weight rested instead of simply trying to imitate the position she had shown him.
Solaria circled him once. Then again. And again.
She corrected his elbow, adjusted his chin, and moved his foot a fraction farther outward.
Each correction was small. None of them changed the stance too much, but together they made the position feel different and intentional.
Takeshi held it for several minutes. His thighs began to ache.
The ache spread gradually through his legs while the rest of his body remained still. His instinct was to shift his weight and relieve the pressure, but he resisted.
Solaria noticed. "Don’t fight the discomfort."
Takeshi glanced at her. "Then what am I supposed to do?"
"Understand it." He stared at her blankly for a second.
She continued before he could complain.
"Your body is telling you where the strain is. If you immediately accept it or move every time something becomes uncomfortable, you won’t learn the difference between weakness and instability."
Takeshi considered that. Then he settled back into the stance. The pain didn’t disappear. It only became easier to recognize.
Solaria eventually moved behind him again.
"Do not chase strength yet," she said near his shoulder. "Find the still point between it and weakness."
Her hands came up to adjust his shoulders. Her nipples brushed lightly against his back.
They both noticed even as Solaria’s breath caught for the briefest moment, but she continued correcting his posture as though nothing had happened.
Takeshi kept his eyes forward. "Are you trying to turn me on?"
Solaria froze for half a breath. "...I am correcting your posture, Master."
Takeshi chuckled even as he tried to stay focus.."I know."
For another moment, she remained there, her hands still resting against his shoulders.
Then she quietly stepped back."You’re a natural at this."
Her voice was slightly softer than before. Even as the room had grew darker, they barely noticed.
Takeshi slowly understood the point Solaria was trying to drill into his head.
Strength wasn’t only about having more power or even potential.
It was also about making sure the body could actually handle what was already there before being willing to accept more.
Closing his eyes, he took a deep breath as he felt a different surge than even back then in the sanctum.
