The young beast raised its head.

The wild fluctuations disappeared.
It still couldn't control its new strength perfectly.
But it was beginning to understand it.
A low growl escaped its throat.
The smaller beasts fled.
The newly advanced Silver beast watched them disappear.
Then it turned toward the deeper forest.
Something else had caught its attention.
A strange scent.
Human.
The beast's ears lifted.
It stared toward the direction Kael had gone.
Then it began walking.
One step.
Then another.
The silver aura followed its body.
It wasn't a powerful Silver beast yet.
It was newly advanced.
Still learning.
Still discovering what its new strength could do.
But its first instinct was already clear.
Find prey.
