Kael's eyes remained fixed on the small glass vial in the hunter's hand.
The dark red liquid shifted slowly inside it as the hunter moved.
Kael's grin widened.
"Wow..."
He shook his head in amusement.
"You have so many good things."
The surrounding hunters laughed again.
"Look at him!"
"He actually wants that one."
"First the technique token, now the blood essence."
The tall hunter ignored the comments.
He held the vial up between them.
"You want it?"
Kael nodded casually.
"Definitely."
"Then this time, we fight."
Kael raised an eyebrow.
"A fight?"
"Yes."
The hunter's expression had become much more serious.
"No tricks. No forfeiting before the fight begins."
A few hunters laughed.
Kael chuckled.
"You're still thinking about that?"
The hunter's face twitched.
"That won't work this time."
Kael shrugged.
"Fine."
The hunter looked around at the crowd that had gathered around them.
These were the same people who had watched him get laughed at moments earlier.
His eyes hardened.
"If you win, the beast blood essence is yours."
He raised the vial.
"But if I win..."
He paused, making sure everyone was listening.
Kael waited.
The hunter pointed toward the floor in front of him.
"You kneel before this crowd and apologize for wasting my time."
The reception area immediately went quiet.
A few hunters exchanged looks.
Then the murmurs began.
"Oh..."
"That's embarrassing."
"So that's what he wants."
"He really wants to recover his pride."
The tall hunter looked directly at Kael.
"No jokes. No excuses. You kneel and apologize to everyone here for wasting my time."
Kael stared at him for a moment.
Then his lips slowly curled upward.
"That's your condition?"
The hunter nodded.
"Yes."
Kael glanced at the crowd before looking back at him.
The demand didn't seem to bother him nearly as much as the hunter expected.
Instead, Kael gave a small laugh.
"Alright."
The hunter's eyes narrowed.
"You're accepting?"
Kael nodded.
"Sure."
He pointed at the vial.
"But I'm taking that."
The hunter smiled.
"Only if you can beat me."
Kael's grin widened.
"Then let's get started."
The hunter nodded toward the hallway leading deeper into the guild.
"The fighting arena."
Kael turned toward the hallway.
"Lead the way."
The crowd immediately began moving after them.
Several hunters hurried ahead, eager to secure a good view.
"It's been a while since I've seen a Peak Bronze challenge."
"Kael is actually accepting this one."
"I want to see how he fights."
The receptionist watched the growing crowd disappear toward the arena before shaking her head.
"These hunters..."
Meanwhile, Kael walked calmly through the guild halls, hands relaxed at his sides.
The tall hunter followed beside him, his expression serious.
This time, there would be no loopholes.
No clever wording.
No easy way out.
They reached the large doors leading into the guild's fighting arena.
The doors opened.
A wide circular battlefield stretched beyond them, surrounded by raised platforms where hunters could watch.
The crowd began filling the viewing area.
Kael stepped onto the arena floor and casually looked around.
The tall hunter entered from the opposite side.
He stopped several meters away.
The noise from the crowd gradually faded.
Kael smiled.
"Ready?"
