I Acquried A Murdering System

Chapter 30 - 030: Oddities and Possibilities

By the time, Lora and General Bryan got to the refectory, all they could see were the bodies of three young students.

The hall was completely empty, walls had been damaged, the ground was a mess. Tables and chairs had multiplied into smaller fragments.

Lora walked in with General Bryan and six other security personnel. She was shocked to see that the three of them had been beaten this badly.

"Oh my gosh!" She gasped and rushed over to Xero.

Her mind went blank when she noticed that his HP was reading 0. Her breath became uneven as she placed her ear against his chest.

Surprisingly she got a heartbeat. Tears hung up in her eyes as she rushed back to General Bryan.

"He is critically ill. I need to take him to the hospital immediately." She said in between short breaths.

"Hmm. Really?" He muttered as he walked closer to see Xero’s face properly.

Upon gazing at him his eyes widened in shock. There was a faint feeling he had and he couldn’t express it openly. Then he caught sight of his HP, it was a zero. How the hell was that possible?

"Are you sure this boy is alive? His HP is zero. He can’t possibly be alive." He said and even though he knew it wasn’t possible he could still feel a light life force from him.

"Yes. Yes. He is alive. I checked his heartbeat. If we don’t take him now, he will die." She said fidgeting lightly.

General Bryan looked around and noticed that the other security personnel were looking over the other two students. He heaved a light sigh.

"Take him to the hospital. Take this. Tell them he shouldn’t be treated on levels." He said as he gave her a black card.

Lora took the card quickly and thanked him before rushing back to Xero. Then one of the security personnel picked him up and carried him away from the hall.

General Bryan watched her leave the hall before he turned back to the other five personnel.

"Take them to the hospital too. We have to get to the root of this matter. We need them alive." General Bryan said and they nodded lightly before leaving.

Then he gracefully walked around the refectory. He could notice the blood stains all over the place. Even the targets that had been placed were still there but were not in good shape any more.

"Just what happened here?" He muttered to himself as he continued to walk around the hall.

He knew that year twos did pick on freshers but he didn’t remember it being this large of a scale. In the past most of them had conducted this in discreet but this was too open.

If this was a cult activity he had to find out which of them. For all he knew there were multiple cults in this school. Some were popular while others were just mere groups.

The rate of cult activities had spiked up a little from the incident at the University Forest to this. It all didn’t make sense.

He squatted over a pile of rumbles and that was when he noticed a pale blood on the ground. It wasn’t like the other blood types, it was yellowish red. A very odd colour but Bryan seemed to have a familiar feeling about the blood.

"If this who I think it is then there’s trouble." He said and he quickly stood up. Then he snapped his fingers and a syringe appeared out of no where.

He took the blood sample and snapped his fingers again and it disappeared into thin air. Then he placed his hands in his pockets.

"If it is you then there is definitely going to be a problem. I need to summon the boards immediately. If he moves further, it’s only a matter of weeks before he raises rebellion again."

Then he walked to the door of the hall and stopped halfway before turning around to stare at the hall again. He smelt trouble not for him but the freshers and if he didn’t clip its wings fast enough then he would risk having students to control.

"You can’t deal without being a pain in the ass can you?" Bryan muttered to himself before leaving.

As he left the refectory hall, security guards immediately covered the door with their bodies. Bryan then turned back to them.

"No one gets in until the mess is cleaned up." He said and vanished out of the area.

*******

A boy stood in his bathroom. His back had been stripped with claw marks. The refectory incident from the this night haunted him.

He remembered being shot by light beams from Romeo and a dark one from another of the year twos. The healer had always come to heal him everything his HP dropped down to 3 but it never restored his full 30 HP.

Behind the scene, he felt someone from behind also draining his blood. It was like he was being suckered out of existence. Like a giant syringe was draining his blood.

Yes. He had seen a lady. A blonde haired one but he couldn’t clearly see her face. Then there was another person but he never saw the person until he fainted.

He on the shower and the water washed over his body his wounds began to heal rapidly. He was about applying soap to his body when he noticed that his body was now fresh and the wound was sealed without a trace.

He stared at himself on his shaving mirror only to notice that he now looked three years younger than he was initially.

Just then his eyes glinted red and a dark seeping energy emerged from his body. And he stared at himself in the mirror in horror. Fangs grew out of his two cannies.

A dark realization hit him but it was too late.

....he was a vampire and so were the other students who had been affected by the year twos.
