The class was unusually quiet as soon as Xero walked into his class. There was no teacher in class and so he didn’t expect all eyes to be on him as he walked in.

He walked to his seat casually only to notice that Derek the boy who had been with Lora earlier was sitting right beside her. He was on his position.

Anger grew in from within him and he simply snatched him by the hair and glared at him angrily.

"What are you doing here?" He asked and Derek turned to him giving him a gentle smile.

"Nothing. I’m just chatting with my girl." Derek said lightly and turned back to Lora who only stared at Xero.

"Get out of my seat now." Xero commanded and Derek shrugged lightly then laughed aloud as he noticed he was a Level 1.

The entire class bursted into a ripple of laughter. The sounds they made with their vocal cords only made Xero more infuriated.

"I won’t repeat myself again. Leave." He warned. But Derek felt it was a spineless threat.

"What are you going to do if I refuse?"

He pulled Derek by the hair and threw him down to the floor. Shock etched on his face as he landed on the ground. The entire class seized their laughter and paused to stare at them.

"Who the hell do you think you are?" Derek said feeling disrespected.

Xero turned to look him. A dense aura built out of his body as he walked towards Derek who cowered backwards.

"I am Xero. Don’t you ever stay close to her again." He warned and Derek began shivering lightly.

Fear sipped into his spine. He couldn’t understand what he feared. It was a mere Level 1 but his aura told a different thing. He seemed to be a god to him. This was something he didn’t feel even for his parents.

"The next time, I get you within her radius be sure to dig in your grave." Xero said and grinned lightly.

Everyone shivered lightly under his voice. His aura was honestly a decapitation on their end. Fear stirred within them and for that moment they all forgot that he was a Level 1.

"I will. I won’t get near her." Derek promised as he began to sweat profusely.

Xero smiled lightly before taking his seat. Lora stared at him as his expression came back to normal. Though she was proud that he was ready to fight for her, she was still shocked that Derek had collapsed under his glare.

"Seriously! Did you have to do that?" Lora asked and he didn’t respond. He picked up her note and began to read through it.

"Xero. What’s going on?" She asked but he simply brushed off the question by demanding that she explains her notes to him.

Suddenly Mr Kenry walked into the classroom. Wearing a neat black suit, he looked wonderfully attractive this morning.

"Good day class." He said and before they could respond, he continued.

"Well tomorrow we all shall be raiding are half cleared Dungeon." Kenry said and Xero’s eyes widened lightly.

They were finally going to face an actual demon. This was going to be fun. He could unleash all his strength in this.

"You all be divided into two teams. The first team deals with Protecting and prosecuting the demons, whikr the second team deals with life support items." Kenry explained.

"In every raid, there are three sets of persons, the raiders themselves, they charge at the demons snd slay them. The carriers, those that carry luggage such as food items and weapons that could come in handy in the Dungeon.

Finally, the collectors. These persons collect the demon crystals and mana left behind. They collect everything that would bring and fetch money to their team." Kenry explained and with that he smiled.

"Sir why are we splited into two. Where are the collectors?"

"So now let me tell you how this is going to work out. Both teams are of equal number. Meaning that one carrier tags along a raider. With each demon any of the sub teams kill, they extract the useful parts. Your score in this test depends on this." Kenry said and pulled out a list.

"Each of you should find a partner to work with that way you know yourselves." Kenry said.

Then he dropped it on the notice board in the classroom before dashing out of the room. Everyone remained silent for a while before someone stepped up to the board and checked his name.

"I’m in the carrier. Who wants me?"

With that everyone began to check their position in the field. Even Xero and Lora walked up to the board.

Lora found her name first. She was on the raiders team while Xero was stuck with the carriers. He sighed lightly before walking back to his seat. Lora followed him.

"So are you going to be my carrier?" Lora asked and Xero nodded lightly. He had no other choice.

The weaker ranks were placed behind the battlefield. All they would gain from this raid would be the firsthand sight of a portal while the raiders did the actual job.

But Kenry never said that they were all restricted from participating in the raid. If that was they case, he could still try out his skills on the demons. No one would question him for fighting the demon.

"Hi guys." A feminine voice tore through his thoughts. Both he and Lora turned up to look at the lady standing in front of them.

Her black hair was neatly tied up and she carried a sense of ego. She was a Level 10. Before either of them could reply, she spoke first.

"My name is Yelisa. From my assumptions, you guys have already tagged on right?"

"Yes."

"I’m proposing we have a collaborated force. A team of four. Two raiders and two carriers. How does it sound?" Yelisa said and Xero stared at her wondering what she was aiming at.

"Oh. I forgot here’s my carrier, Cassie" She said and a slim girl with short white hair stood beside her. She was a level 3.

"Okay. We accept." Lora said and Xero looked at her wondering when he had agreed to the deal.

"Nice. See you later." She said and the both walked out of the class in unison.

Xero smiled lightly. He couldn’t wait for tomorrow. If at all, he was extremely anxious about it. He wondered what kind of demon they would slay in there.
