I Acquried A Murdering System

Xero looked up to see the female demon standing before him. Blood dripped from her lips. A light wave of anxiety washed over him.

She smiled as she descended the ground. Once her feet hit the ground the ground took a heavy shift.

"Seems like you killed my useless brother. You are quite strong I must say but why tag along the weak." She said and chuckled.

"Where are my friends?!" Xero demanded fearing that she had harmed them.

"Oh those two girls? They were oddly strong, the girl with the ice seemed to be weak, turned out she was as well strong but she trembled in fear after took out the arm of her friend." She said and laughed lightly.

Then she snapped her fingers and both Yelisa and Lora dropped from above. Then a detached arm fell right next to Xero.

"Isn’t it beautiful?" She said

"I decided to come down here as soon as I sensed your presence. Come on you aren’t a human. Why pose to be one?" She said lightly.

Xero gashed his teeth in anger. Then he clenched his fists. He took a deep breath trying to calm his nerves.

"I am going to kill you." He said lightly.

"Haha. Don’t be so confident in yourself. I’ve seen numerous humans try to balance their ego with their ambition. You are no different." She said as bones wrapped around her hands.

"Interesting, seems that we are both egoist. Let the better egoist stand tall." He said and dashed with an insane speed.

Just as he was about to hit her, she vanished out of sight. He gasped in shock.

"Don’t be surprised little boy." She said from behind him.

Then she attacked him with her bone but Xero sensed the attack fast enough to dodge it faster than she expected. She sighed in shock.

He dashed towards her but she dodged his attack faster than he attacked. She appeared behind him but he moved backwards just before she could attack him again.

"We are surprising equal in speed. That’s something. No one you were able to defeat my brother."

"Tsk. I’m not even in full speed and you call equal?! What nonsense!?" Xero said. Her widened in shock.

He was already in front of her and he delivered a nerve breaking kick against her head. The impact sent her flying off to the other side of the tunnel.

"Don’t make me laugh. You very know that I’m stronger than you. It’s just a matter of time before I reap your flesh." Xero said with killing intent.

"Activate." He whispered.

[Otch Hammer Activated]

A large long hammer formed into his hands. The head of the Hammer bring three times the size a normal one. A sparking of purple energy flooded the metallic handle.

Xero grinned.

The demon stared at him in shock. Her heartbeat rose beyond her comprehension. The weapon in Xero’s was one used by the mighty warriors of Hell.

"What the hell are you?" She muttered in shock.

"Me? I’m the Murderer." He said with a dark grin.

He moved without the movement of his legs. He appeared behind her. Then he swung the Hammer over and it slammed into her side sending her slamming through the tunnel walls.

She fell out of the tunnel, landing on the ground. Her right body was totally decapitated. She couldn’t stand up. The realization hit her and then fear slowly crept into her.

"No. This isn’t how it is supposed to end. To err is human, to forgive is revenge is divine. Yes I can use that." She said and turned to see Xero step out of the tunnel.

His eyes burning with blue energy. His white hair waved lightly in the direction of the wind.

"To err is human, to—" She was cut short, forcing the spell to break.

"—kill is supremacy." Xero completed the words and slammed his hammer against her right hand. The impact forced it to splatter. Her blood splashed over his face.

"Wha..what are you? Are the one?"

Xero activated the Blood Scythe and used her blue blood to form a sword. A dark grin appeared on his face.

"The better egoist shall stand."

He struck his sword into her legs burying pain into her body. He smiled lightly enjoying the fun he was having.

He pulled up the sword and struck into her left hand. She screamed in pain and agony.

"Predator’s Eye."

[Skill Activated]

Fear crept into her nerves as she stared at his eyes. All she could a dark monster behind the face of the boy before her.

"...."

He picked up his hammer and slammed into her ribs, splitting her in two. He grinned more and slammed it against her face. Blood splattered on his face.

"That’s a Hellborn for you." He muttered without even knowing.

He sighed lightly and deactivated his skills. His strength was all used up. He collapsed on the ground.

He smiled lightly and then chuckled in exhaustion. He expended all his energy in fighting these demons.

He marvelled at the quantum of growth he had acquired within a couple of weeks. It was insane. The thought of how the system has slowly changed his personality was more astonishing.

"Is that Xero?"

He turned his head to see who was calling him but his eyes was getting blurry each passing second.

"Who’s that..." he said as his eyes closed finally.

Valandi walked up to him. Behind her were about half a dozen of men who held long swords.

She stared at the demon laying on the ground wondering what had happened to it. Judging by the corpse, she could tell it was hit by something heavy. She couldn’t see anything that could give such damage to a lower Calamity.

The men successfully pulled out the three ladies from the tunnel. While they did that, some of the students began around Xero and the demon.

Shock etched on their face as soon as they met the scene.

"What the hell happened here?"
