Not a single mouth could remain shut.
Emily, Sol, the group from the Demon Slayer clan, Chen and his uncle, Amber and her companions, the people hidden in the shadows. Only one word was echoing in their minds. ’Impossible.’
Sylus remained rooted to his spot before snapping. He gritted his teeth and retracted his hand.
And then...
Whoooosh!
Another punch.
Leon merely shifted his finger slightly, placing it in front of the incoming fist. And...
Pham!
With a dull sound, the punch was blocked.
"No, no, no." Sylus roared and let go of Snow. Both of his fists clenched as lightning crackled dangerously.
Whooosh!
Whoooosh!
Whooosh!
Sylus’s both arms moved like machines, throwing punch after punch.
Yet Leon just moved his single index finger and blocked all of them.
Pham!
Pham!
Pham!
Meanwhile, Leon felt ecstatic due to the notifications spamming on the system panel.

"What the hell?" Sylus leaped back and glared at Leon. "You? Did you consume the Blood Dantian Pill already?" He asked.
"What do you think?" Leon didn’t reply but asked a question instead.
Sylus’s veins bulged, rage boiling inside him. "You bastard!!! Do you have any idea how long I have been waiting for that pill? You dare to consume it?" His voice boomed. He suddenly vanished from his position and appeared beside Chen. "Give me that sword." He barked as he grabbed the sword in Chen’s possession and yanked it hard.
Sylus then unsheathed the sword in one swift pull.
Shinggggg! The metallic edge vibrated with a mechanical chime. Lightning crackled along the blade. Sylus was channeling so much mana that the space distorted. The elder, along with Chen and Amber, moved back. Hazel, Wren, and others followed. They didn’t wanna end up as collateral damage.
"Dieeeeeee." Sylus roared and shot forward like a white-blue streak of energy. The air howled.
Leon stood where he was. He didn’t even blink as Sylus closed in, his killing intent unmistakable.
Sylus appeared before Leon and swung the blade.
Leon also called forth a sword. The pitch-black claymore. But he didn’t swing it. Instead...
"Sixth Form...
Sword Song." He whispered.
Instantly, invisible arcs of sword aura whistled forward. Multiple of them.
Clang!
Clang!
Clang!
Clang!
Four distinct sharp metallic sounds echoed.
Sylus completed his swing. Leon hadn’t dodged it. He hadn’t blocked it either.
So blood was supposed to be sprayed. An agonizing scream followed by some begging for mercy was supposed to happen.
But it didn’t.
Instead...
Sylus found that he was still holding the hilt. But the blade. It wasn’t there. It was in the ground and in pieces. Five pieces to be exact, all precisely cut.
Sylus staggered back. He couldn’t believe his eyes. He felt like the ground beneath his feet was collapsing.
Then suddenly...
Bam!
Leon threw a casual punch. His fist slammed against Sylus’s face.
Whoooooosh!
Sylus’s body was sent flying so fast that all could see only a blur. And then...
Booooom!
Sylus’s body hit a distant mountain, shattering the upper portion with a loud explosion.
Emily slowly stood up, her eyes locked on Leon. She could barely believe it. ’How long has it been? Not even one month. One month ago, he had to use a technique to defeat the enemies inside the hidden realm. And the technique was so dangerous that he couldn’t even wake up for several days. Yet here he is. Fighting a Disaster Class hunter like Sylus Moure isn’t even an awakened one.’ Her eyes shone with something. She could tell it. Leon wasn’t relying on any technique but his pure strength this time. ’And that sword technique he just used! What was that?’
Meanwhile, Sol... ’Big bro. He’s even super cool now,’ he mused.
And Snow? She had risked so much to come here and protect the pill. Maybe even protect Leon. But did he even need it? And the pill? It was already consumed?
There were others who wore ugly expressions. Spencer, Wren. Especially Wren. He had thought about so many scenarios where Leon would be begging on his knees, and only then would he forgive him. But what was happening now?
Leon walked toward Emily. Sol also came. "You guys. Good to see you." Leon said with a polite smile.
"Bro!" Sol started, totally forgetting about his injuries. "How did you suddenly become so strong? Did you really get the Blood Dantian Pill and consume it?" He asked excitedly.
"Yeap." Leon didn’t deny it.
Snow had also caught up to them, her uncle and his four buddies following behind. "You really consumed that pill? And your current strength, all because of it?"
"Something like that. Why? Were you also looking for the pill and planning to snatch it away from me?" Leon asked with a serious expression.
"She came here to protect you. She even dared to attack Sylus on her own and ended up using a one-time treasure." Snow’s uncle answered before Snow could react.
"Ah, really! I am really sorry, then. Please excuse my rudeness." Leon said with a slight bow.
"It’s alright." Snow nodded. She was already happy that Sylus didn’t get his hands on the pill. Also, Leon had just beaten the shit out of Sylus with a single punch.
"What about them?" Leon asked as his gaze swept over the mountaintop from one side to another.
Everyone could feel his cold gaze.
"Same as the person you just punched," Sol replied. "They wanted the pill. By any means possible. They were even fighting to capture this sister just so they could use her as a bargaining chip to force you to hand over the pill."
Hearing that, Leon’s veins bulged slightly. Instantly, an overwhelming pressure erupted from him.
Everyone staggered back. Their heart started pounding violently.
But then...
"Don’t be afraid. He is just one. We are so many. I don’t believe he can defeat all of us on his own." Suddenly, the elder spoke.
"So everyone, let’s join hands. I am talking to those who are hiding in the shadows as well."
One second. Two seconds. Several seconds passed, but no one appeared.
"Oh, I forgot to mention one thing. Though he has already consumed the Blood Dantian Pill, according to legends, his blood essence can be used to strengthen our dantians or mana cores. So? Want to join hands, or still keep observing from a distance?
This time, several figures appeared. One... Two... Three... Seven... Fifteen.
Yet, Leon’s composed look didn’t waver. He had been waiting for them.
But just before the others could take action...
Boooooom!
Sylus landed on the ground with an explosion. As he raised his hand, a huge lightning sphere began to materialize.
