Three cars screeched to a stop before Leon’s house. Eleven people came out of them immediately.

"Is this the one?" a middle-aged person asked. This was none other than the person from the Great Solar clan, one of whose elders had instructed them to kill anyone related to Leon Bale.

"Yes."

"Which floor?"

"Second floor."

"Okay. Let’s move," the middle-aged man instructed.

But before they could enter the main gate, a van rushed up and screeched to a halt. The van still went a few meters ahead even after braking.

Immediately, a group of people came out. Two of them were the young girl and the man with binoculars, who were on the mountaintop, observing Leon’s movements.

"Princess!"

The middle-aged man and all his companions bowed in respect the moment they saw the young girl.

"What are you guys doing here? Didn’t I inform you that Leon is inside the Red Horn’s Nest?" She asked, her eyes narrowing slightly.

"We are here for Leon Bale’s sister, princess. I hope you will not make it difficult for us." The middle-aged man said.

"She is coming with us." The princess said decisively. All her men immediately took a fighting stance.

People from the Great Solar clan also became ready for the battle.

The commotion attracted many. Some were peeking from their windows. Some hid in the corners at a distance.

But before any of them could act...

Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom!

A loud explosion erupted. Everyone from the royal palace and the Great Solar clan were sent flying.

Windows in surrounding buildings shattered.

The whole building where Leon lived was flattened.

Dust and debris swallowed the whole place. Screams of agony filled the air.

"What happened!" The princess asked with widened eyes as she looked at the scene before her. She couldn’t see clearly, but it was clear that the whole building had collapsed.

Whoooooosh!

Whoooooosh!

Crack!

Crack!

Sounds of clashes rang out from within the smoke.

The smoke slowly thinned out. And finally, all could see what was happening.

A sixteen-year-old girl was trapped inside a translucent barrier.

One man, who looked a bit old but had bulging muscles, and a woman were evacuating injured people from the ruins. Frenrir and Noira.

Another girl with silky hair and a slender figure stood proudly in the middle of it. Her hair billowed in the air. Whoever looked at her felt enchanted. Lamia.

Before her, seven people stood, all looking at her warily.

"There. Inside the barrier." The person beside the princess pointed toward Jenny and said.

"What’s going on? Are these people also here for Leon’s sister? And who is this girl?" The princess asked, looking at Lamia.

"Can’t say. But whoever she is, she is dangerous." The man said, eyes locked on Lamia.

Lamia waved her hand.

Immediately multiple swirling lances materialized in the air. All of them shot forward at once.

A middle-aged man reacted instantly, an azure-colored magic circle appearing before him.

The air rippled before him, and the shooting lances were swallowed. Except two.

One struck the weakest one among them. The other one struck Jayden. The tips pierced their chest before bursting out from the opposite side, spraying blood. But that wasn’t all. Frost spread from the wounds, their whole bodies turning icy.

And then...

They collapsed, shattering into fragments.

The remaining five paled.

"It’s bad. We need to leave immediately or else we all will die. Where did this freak come from? And why is a being like her present in the detached heaven? Even if she loses control and sneezes mistakenly, this world would be done for." The leader said worriedly.

"Let’s leave and inform the sire," the middle-aged man said hurriedly.

Lamia again waved her hand. Icy shapes shot forward like divine judgment. The middle-aged man quickly reacted, diverting the attacks with his space magic. But his hands went numb. The power behind Lamia’s attacks was so wild that even swallowing them with his space magic felt troublesome.

"We need to leave now. Or we are all going to die." The middle-aged person said.

The leader took only a second to make a decision. "Can you teleport that girl from within the barrier? Coming here a second time won’t be possible. And Sire will kill us if we fail to bring her." He asked the middle-aged person with the space magic.

"I can, but it will take some time. Her barrier magic prevents any outside manipulation."

"Do it. But make sure you can finish it before we all die." The leader said.

The middle-aged person nodded and raised his hand. An azure magic circle appeared before him. The air shimmered before another magic circle appeared. Two more circles appeared one after another.

Lamia’s expression darkened. "Damn it. This old fossil is trying to transport Jenny from within the barrier. This barrier is nothing to me, but if I unleash enough power to destroy it, this world will cease to exist as well. Master’s mother is still here. I can’t do that." Lamia felt troubled. "Noira!" She shouted.

Noira, who was busy helping Frenrir evacuate the injured people outside of the ruin, snapped her head toward Lamia. "Miss Lamia?"

"The old bastard is trying to take Jenny away with space magic. See if you can stop him. Don’t clash with him directly, or you will die. But don’t let him focus." Saying that, Lamia focused on unleashing devastating attacks one after another.

An ice boulder descended from the sky and exploded where they were.

Booooooom!

All had to scatter and dodge. The middle-aged person moved, but both his hands were busy forming spatial rifts. One was shimmering inside the barrier. The rift tried to tear open, but the barrier magic was resisting it.

The elf named Mona didn’t release the barrier for him. Because that would mean letting go of Jenny. Her barrier wasn’t strong enough to stop Lamia, but Lamia had no option to destroy it without destroying the world alongside it.

A chaotic battle broke out. And those who had come from the Royal Palace and the Great Solar clan to abduct Jenny could only watch in horror.

The magnitude of the battle, the destructive power behind each strike...

It was otherworldly.
