Lamia again swung her hand. Unlike others, her swing looked more like a wave than a slash.

But instantly, the space distorted as multiple icy spears shot forward. Even though the spears were bolting through the air, a trail of trenches followed them along the ground.

All of the remaining elves reacted. Magic circles appeared before them as the air rippled.

Two thick metal slabs materialized in the air, trying to block a few of the spears. But all the spears were so wild that the moment they struck the metal slab, the slab was blasted into nothing with a booom sound.

The spears continued to move forward. Another two metal slabs materialized, finally stopping a few of those spears that had already blasted a slab.

From the leader’s purple blue magic circle, lightning bolts shot forward. They struck three of the spears. The spears slowed only a little, still moving forward, threatening to consume their lives. All the spears were finally blocked when multiple earth walls appeared before them, one after another.

The ground where they were fighting caved in. A few of the nearby buildings couldn’t take the force, even when all were trying to suppress their power, and collapsed. Frenrir could barely even catch a breath, running left and right, rescuing injured civilians.

As Lamia’s expression grew more serious, dark clouds gathered in the sky. White blue arcs of lightning thundered.

People quickly came out of their buildings and started running in the opposite direction. Those who stayed back could only stare in amazement and shock. And...

Fear...

Lamia waved her hand once more.

Icy lances whistled through the air. This time, they were fiercer than before. Everyone’s faces paled, and all were forced to release the third magic circle.

One icy lance still broke through several obstacles and struck an opponent.

The person was blasted into chunks of flesh, blood, and internal organs that splattered on the ground.

"Make it fast, damn it." The leader shouted at the middle-aged man.

The middle-aged man was trying his best. But his mind was busy focusing on several things. Dodging Lamia’s attacks, negating the obstacle Noira was creating for him, and trying to transport Jenny from within the barrier. But it was becoming difficult with each passing second.

Lamia’s attacks continued to bombard them relentlessly. The ground was caving in. Buildings were being destroyed.

"I can’t do it. She is trouble." The middle-aged man shouted.

The leader’s face scowled. "Then transport her as well. No need to defend against her. First transport her. Then the one with the Zenekian blood."

The middle-aged man nodded and stopped trying to transport Jenny. The air howled as a rift suddenly appeared before Noira and tried to move forward.

Noira’s hand also moved, pressuring the rift back.

But slowly the rift moved forward.

"Watch out," Lamia shouted. But it was already too late.

A metallic arrow shot toward Noira, distracting her focus for a brief moment. She tried to dodge, and that brief moment was all it took. The rift moved forward and swallowed Noira.

"Noiraaaaaa!" Frenrir, who was busy saving people, roared and lunged at the middle-aged man ferociously.

But lightning streaked through the air and struck him. Frenrir was sent flying, cratering into a building.

Rumble!

Rumble!

The building shook violently before collapsing.

An icy spear struck the leader at that very same moment as well. The leader’s body was sent flying and blasted in midair.

She then quickly waved her hand once more, sending five icy spears toward the middle-aged man.

The middle-aged man used his right hand to use space magic and swallow those spears. Due to the force behind the spears, blood dripped from the corners of his mouth and nose.

But a smile crept across his face. The next moment, Jenny vanished from within the barrier as well.

Lamia appeared before the middle-aged man, her eyes cold. A frost sword materialized in her right arm as she swung it instantly.

But just before the blade could strike, a barrier appeared. The same one Jenny was trapped inside. Now with her already captured, Mona could focus on the battle. It was already very late for them, though. Only three remained. The middle-aged man was very injured too. He quickly created three space rifts, all vanishing inside them.

Everything happened so fast that all had to lean forward and hold their breath to focus.

Lamia dropped to her knees. ’No, no, no. She is gone. Master’s sister is gone. What should I do? He will go mad when he learns about it."

Frenrir also looked gloomy. Noira had been taken too.

Lamia slammed her fist into the ground in rage.

Booooooooooom!

A loud sound echoed as a fissure materialized before her. The impact shook more of the buildings in the fissure’s way. Some collapsed. Some sank into the ground. Her eyes looked blood-red. ’Damn it, damn it, damn it. If only this world wasn’t so weak and I could unleash my full power. At least one tenth of it.’ She cursed in her mind.

Meanwhile, Leon was sitting in Emily’s car now. Sol and Emily were sitting in the front seats, while Leon sat at the back all on his own. Spencer was nowhere to be found. How could he stay after everything happened?

Snow’s car was also at the back, following behind their car. Her uncle had left with his buddies.

At the moment, Leon was silent, having a bad premonition in his heart. He felt like something bad was happening, but couldn’t tell what. Noira was supposed to come, but she hadn’t. He had been away for a few days as well and had no news about Jenny.

"What’s wrong, bro?" Sol looked at the mirror and asked.
