Just as Raviel had said, the woman arrived at the castle with a few people after nearly two days, bringing a huge chest with her.

The chest was being carried by one of Raviel’s own ghosts.

"Open it," Raviel said suddenly, and as soon as he spoke, the lid of the chest sprang open.

With the help of the butlers, a covered, rectangular portrait, perhaps five metres long, was brought out from inside.

Since it was covered, no one could have told what it was, but Dean, of course, was well aware of what was happening.

After all, he was the one who had requested the portrait.

The portrait had been brought in through the castle’s main gate and, passing through this high-ceilinged area, had been taken into a large, empty room.

Well, it wasn’t exactly empty.

It was simply a space with bare walls, and one could say that this was probably the only place in the castle where the portrait could fit directly.

The portrait had been neatly mounted on the wall, and with that, everyone except Raviel and Dean had left the room.

Dean, however, turned to Raviel and said, "Thank you, my lady."

"My lady? You really only need to call me by my first name, Dean. I thought we’d agreed on that," said Raviel with a smile.

Dean smiled back at her, scratched his head and said, "Sorry, Raviel," before walking over to the portrait.

The white cloth covering the portrait was still there.

"Let’s see," said Dean, and as he spoke, he pulled the cloth off the enormous portrait.

At that moment, he could see it.

He’d managed to see the portrait of the woman he’d met before.

"Whoa..." Dean murmured. The woman he was looking at was still as beautiful as he remembered her.

Still, he had to be honest: this portrait didn’t quite capture Nemesis’s true beauty.

"I’ll wait outside the room. Good luck," Raviel said suddenly.

It seemed he’d managed to grasp more or less what was going on and had begun to figure out what Dean was trying to achieve.

As soon as Raviel left the room, Dean turned back to the portrait, then withdrew enough money from the system to cover millions of Nether and Aether coins.

Hundreds of one-million-coin banknotes fell to the floor, and Nemesis’s portrait truly did begin to glow.

After just a short while, Dean managed to hear that woman’s voice in his mind:

"Well, well, well, if it isn’t my human friend Dean."

When Dean heard this voice, he smiled and said, "Hello, Lady Nemesis, it’s been a while."

The moment Dean uttered these words, the portrait itself glowed even more brightly, and then an image appeared.

The portrait seemed to have transformed into a portal that projected an image.

When Dean looked at the image, he could see Nemesis gazing back at him.

The Supreme-Goddess was, as usual... busy bathing, completely naked.

"My lady, you really should cover up before you answer me," said Dean.

Nemesis, rolling her eyes as if mocking him, replied, "Nothing you haven’t seen already."

Knowing he couldn’t say anything in response to those words, Dean kept his mouth shut and, after a short pause, said, "There’s something I need to tell you."

"I’m waiting," Nemesis had replied. At that moment, a few angels were busy massaging her hair.

"I had a dream. A dream that felt VERY real to me. So real that it disrupts my sleep and leaves me wondering all day," Dean had said suddenly.

At those words, Nemesis’s attention was completely fixed on him.

"I have seen you, my lady, and some others as well," he added.

"What do you mean?" Nemesis asked, filled with curiosity.

"You and the others were simply talking to Hermes. Not in a friendly way, mind you; you were all practically shouting at him. You’d tied him up, and he was on his knees. It was as if he were a criminal," Dean replied.

At these words, Nemesis stood up from the bathroom floor where she’d been lying. It could now be said that her body was more clearly visible.

Dean, however, had refused to look at the sight, lowering his head, and said, "Still, something wasn’t quite right. There was another face watching you from a distance. It was someone grinning hideously whilst looking at Hermes. As I didn’t know who it was, I asked my servant, and in the end, I learnt that this person was Apollo."

He didn’t stop there and added, "That’s why I wanted to speak to you. I don’t know whether my next dungeon will be in Aether, nor am I very sure I’ll be able to reach you there. That’s why, just in case, I wanted to tell you about this dream of mine."

"And... what should I do with this knowledge?" Nemesis asked.

Dean raised his head, which he’d been keeping bowed, and spoke to Nemesis, looking at him with a touch of embarrassment:

"I don’t know who Hermes is; after all, I didn’t even know you. Still, if Apollo is the culprit, I really don’t want the wrong person to be blamed. The realism of my dream has left me confused, and I just wanted to reach out to you and share my suspicions. If you have the time and a way to do so, please check up on what Apollo has been up to, just this once."

When Dean finished speaking, he could see that Nemesis’s expression had grown serious.

Still, that look returned to normal within a short while.

Nemesis flashed that gorgeous smile of hers once more and then said, "You’re staring at my body, kiddo."

Dean immediately turned his head away and blurted out, "Oh, come on!"

"Hahahahaha! Alright, alright! I’ll keep my eyes on him, don’t worry about it."

Just as the image in the portrait faded away, Dean heard Nemesis’s voice one last time:

"I’ll see you later, be safe. I don’t want my first human friend to die."

As the voice faded away, Dean looked carefully at the coins around him.

What he saw took him by surprise.
