*Anos's POV*

"Ah, I'm finally back here." I sighed as I began to stretch my hands, feeling them pop with satisfaction.

It was much harder to sneak into the Room of Requirements especially in the Night but thankfully this part of the castle was a bit less crowded nowadays.

'Not to mention the Ravenclaw Prefect supposed to guard these halls got DragonPox and the replacements are quite lax.' I thought with a grin.

The room of requirements hadn't changed in the couple of months I hadn't been here. It was still the same Obsidian walls and off to the side I could see the statues standing like Sentinels as the Gemmed roof shone light below.

I had originally meant for it to become a regular place to exercise and train, but for reasons I wasn't currently privy to there were a lot more eyes around here the past few weeks.

So I was still limited to my own room for most practice.

"Well? Will any of you step forward?" I asked the statues as I began to put on my gloves.

One of the white ones lit up and stepped forward, its feet clunking on the stone of the floor.

It continued forward before stopping at about 10 feet from me.

It was adorned by 4 stars imprinted upon its chest while for the most part it looked the same as the previous one except maybe a tad taller.

I took a step towards it and thus it began.

*Zzzt*

The Statue's arm shot up and its wand crackled before shooting a ball of light my way.

'Fuck he's much faster.'

"Deflectere." I muttered and the spell broke apart mere inches from my face shooting blue sparks that grazed my face.

"Wow I could almost feel that!." I said with glee running straight at it.

The statue seemed to actually recoil in shock before quickly getting it's bearings and shooting spells straight at me.

"Deflectere . Sigh, is this the best you can do? Deflectere." I was almost disappointed as the statue continued with the same spell.

Not for long though as I was in front of it before the third spell got out and punched straight at it's face.

*Clack*

Chunks of rock flew off it's face and the right side of the Statue's face was now much lighter than the left.

*Boom*

A small explosion occurred near my left foot throwing me off balance.

"Oof." I hunched over grabbing my stomach from where the statue had punched it with full force.

"Ouch, fuck." I hissed as I hastily brought my hand up to block another jab from the statue.

"Reverse Red." I held my arm towards the Statue's leg before in a blast of air the statue lost it's balance as well and fell…..on top of me.

'Okay that wasn't the best idea. Fuck he's heavy.' I internally cursed while doing my best to grapple with the statue.

I had my legs wrapped around its torso and one arm around its neck.

*Crack*

"Ahh fuck." The statue punched me straight in the face and my nose was definitely bleeding.

'Fuck you it doesn't need to breath.'

In a sudden rage I brought both my hands in the air and brought them down with all my strength on top of the Statue's chest cracking it open.

*Hiss*

Red miasma began to flow out.

"Oh no you don't." I brought another punch down on the Statue's head which it caught before I frantically pushed my arm into the crevice that had opened in its chest.

"Shard."

*Boom*

Chunks of rock flew near 5 feet into the air before falling down again.

'Is it dead? Shit it isn't!' I cursed as I still felt the statue try to wring itself free.

"Shard. Shard! Shard!" I repeated until I heard a crack and there was a crater where the Statue's upper chest should have been.

I rose up gingerly, slightly apprehensive but also feeling pain erupt in my face from what I was now sure was a broken nose.

I unknowingly tried to breathe through my nose but winced at the smell of blood and the squelching sound of blood gushing out faster at the moment.

I opened my mouth to draw breath trying to ignore the feeling of unnaturally crimson blood running down my face and onto my lips.

'Well shit.' As if a spell had broken, I hurriedly took off my gloves and put them inside the pockets of my robe.

I looked down at the Statue for any Crimson Orb only to find it cracked into innumerable shards.

*Tap*

Blood flowed down my face onto the Statue, staining it's Snow white stone red and I brought a hand up to my face to try and stop the bleeding whatever good that may do.

Hurriedly I exited the Room of Requirements and started to walk my way down the hallway.

It should have been just a bit past 1 at at best but the Castle felt oppressive witht the hallways only lit up by torches.

"Found one!"

Every fiber of my being screamed at me as i slowly turned my head to see Mrs Norris sitting and staring at me with her dust colored skeletal body huddled together even as her tail swished in the air with what I could only guess was glee.

"Quiet. Don't tell Filch about me." I said gently.

'Maybe the ability to understand and speak to animals will finally come in handy.' I thought ,getting a bit calm.

Mrs Norris seemed to consider it turning her head and stopping her tail from moving in the air.

"Meow! Meow!" Before starting to make as much noise as she could.

'Well that's the first creature to not like me.' I cursed and hurriedly started to run away.

'Where do I go. Where do I go?' I thought in a hurry.

I was supposed to have remained inside the Room of Requirements for another half an hour at least before slipping into the Great Hall just after patrol shifts were changed.

I threw a string of curses inside my head before running off to the only place I knew would have no one there.
