Silas stood calmly in the centre of his room, although now partially dilapidated, it still covered him from the outside.

"Fragmentation," he muttered, recalling one of the abilities of his skill, Aether Manipulation.

A ripple spread through his body at that moment, and he began to multiply, quickly filling the room with copies of himself.

These were all copies that had everything he had, just weaker.

But for what Silas needed them for, they were more than enough.

"With all of them, I should be able to coordinate the weapon’s assembly."

Silas’s plan was simple: instead of waiting for the students to learn the assembly method, which would take at least a month, he decided to supervise the students instead.

By doing so, he could increase cooperation between the students, while also erasing the one-month pause.

"Yeah, this is the best possible way," he muttered.

There were currently 300 copies of himself in the room.

The copies flooded back into his body, returning into Silas.

"I should tell this to Levi now so we can begin tomorrow."

Silas stepped out of his room, returning to the bustling of the students.

"Welcome back," Asher bowed lightly, seeing Silas walk out of the room.

"Thank you," Silas replied with a smile.

Asher was about to follow, when Silas stopped him.

"Don’t worry, I would go by myself."

Asher thought about it for a while.

In this spaceship, the only people who could threaten Silas were him and Levi.

He nodded, stepping back.

After weighing the options, Silas was safe on this ship, with or without his help.

If Levi ever decided to attack, even he could not do anything, so there was no difference whether he followed or not.

Without thinking too much about it, Asher stepped back.

Silas nodded at him, before continuing on his way.

The students still stood in the main section of the ship.

All of them were walking around, trying to memorize the weapon’s blueprint.

Silas nodded at this.

"Yeah, I can’t afford to have them dying."

Although he had no direct ties with any of them, they were comrades that he felt the need to help if he could.

"How do I get to him?" Silas wondered aloud as he looked around.

"I am here," Levi said from behind him.

"Please, can you stop appearing like that?" Silas asked, his heart beating faster than usual. "It freaks me out each time."

Levi creased his brows, then nodded.

He did not have time to change his manners at this moment; he was more focused on the matter at hand.

"Were you able to understand the blueprint?" Levi asked, walking side by side with Silas.

Silas nodded.

"Actually, I was able to within 30 minutes."

"Oh, that’s go..."

The words hitched in Levi’s throat.

Like they were too heavy for him to say out loud.

"It took you 30 minutes to completely understand the blueprint?"

As he asked, Levi stopped walking.

His face was still as calm as ever, cold and aloof.

But that seemed to be a facade that he had masterfully crafted over centuries of practice.

It was without doubt that Levi’s mind was in total disarray.

Silas stopped too, gazing at Levi.

"Yes, it was not that complicated," he shrugged.

"Can you even listen to yourself?" Levi asked, waving his hand off.

He continued walking forward, and Silas followed behind him.

Levi had seen geniuses, ones that were scarce to come by even in an era.

Geniuses that flocked the Imperial Academy, and those that paraded the Solarion clan’s planet.

They were all geniuses that could be said to be chosen by aether or science themselves.

Even he was a genius of unparalleled talent.

But the Silas that walked beside him was more than that; in fact, using the word genius felt too undermining.

Compared to other geniuses Levi had met, who were focused on either Cultivation or Science, Silas balanced everything well, and was still top tier in both fields.

"Levi," Silas called out.

"What is it?" Levi asked.

"I thought you zoned out," Silas quickly replied.

Levi shook his head.

Silas nodded.

"Yeah, where is Governor Max and Lady Celeste?" Silas asked.

"Since you are helping me, there’s nothing wrong in telling you this," Levi replied. "They went to the Academy ahead of us, so Max and Celeste can continue their experiment."

Silas furrowed his brows, then ran his palm through his hair, then cleaned his ears.

"I don’t get it."

Levi dropped his head, as if in disappointment.

"Celeste is a Life Path scientist and Max is her test subject for a new topic she is researching."

Levi began to stroke his chin as he spoke.

"Well, calling it new is not right since they started about a million years ago."

"A million years ago? They’ve known each other for so long?" Silas asked, his eyes almost popping out of their sockets from shock.

Levi smiled at Silas’s reaction, as if he were enjoying it.

"I know how long they have known each other; they’ve been friends since before I met Celeste."

"Wow," Silas muttered.

"Well, let’s continue with the matter at hand," Levi said, snapping Silas out of his daze. "How do you plan to help with the assembly?"

Before Silas could speak, Levi pressed his finger against his lips.

"A minute."

As he said those words, Silas felt a sudden shift in their location.

"Where is this?" Silas asked, looking around with what felt more like intrigue than surprise.

"This is one of my planes. I brought you here in case you plan to show me something large."

"Oh," Silas nodded.

Then he remembered the word plane.

"What is a plane though?" he asked with furrowed brows.

Levi glanced at him, before looking away.

"A plane is a new reality created by a cultivator in order to advance to the Void Walker stage."

Levi looked at the light in Silas’s eyes.

"You can read up on it yourself, stop getting distracted."

Silas’s face dropped.

"Okay."

Silas nodded, his expression turning serious.
