A tremor swept through Silas’s frame.

His body began to split, from 2 to 4 to 8.

In the blink of an eye, Silas had already produced 300 copies of himself.

Levi looked at the copies.

"What do you plan on doing with this?" he asked. "I hope you know that just a few clones are not enough to build the weapon alone."

Although he was shocked about how Silas was able to clone himself at such a low tier, he still decided to focus more on their usefulness.

"I know, that’s not my plan," Silas replied.

"The plan is simple, instead of wasting one month learning the blueprint, the students should start building directly while the clones supervise and tell them what to do."

"That’s possible," Levi muttered, stroking his chin slowly.

Then, he noticed another problem.

His gaze drifted through the clones, finally landing on Silas.

"But you seem to have gotten weaker by cloning yourself," he said. "I hope this would not affect your foundation?"

Silas shook his head.

"You don’t need to worry about that."

Levi raised an eyebrow.

"What do you mean I should not worry about that?" he asked.

Silas sighed.

"Okay, if that’s what you want, you can reward me later. As for the foundation, it would not take long to repair."

Levi bowed gently.

"Thank you."

Silas waved it off.

The clones dissolved into pure aether that poured back into his body.

Feeling his strength return to its peak, Silas could not help but close his eyes in ecstasy.

’This is the best feeling ever,’ he mused.

"I would get the weapon and make an announcement soon," Levi said, seeing Silas take all his clones back.

Silas nodded. "Then, I will take my leave now."

As he turned away, a grin was on his face, stretching his lips as far as they could.

He was sure that whatever someone like Levi gave him was definitely going to be heaven defying.

And the best part was that it was all due to Levi misunderstanding his clone ability.

But as he walked, he suddenly froze.

"Wait, how do I get out?" he asked, turning to face Levi.

Crack.

Lines began to spread through the space they were in, as if the very fabric of reality was being torn apart by an unavoidable pressure.

Boom.

The crack exploded, and Silas was back to where he had stood with Levi moments ago.

But Levi was not there.

Silas did not care.

"I wonder where Amelia and the rest are," he muttered.

With nothing to do, Silas began to wander the ship.

The ship was mostly broken now.

The only reason most of the candidates had not been suffocated by the void was due to the barrier Levi had set up.

"It seems like I can survive in space now," Silas muttered, looking towards the barrier.

As a Monarch rank cultivator, he was no longer flesh, and didn’t need to rely on mundane things like breathing, eating, and sleeping.

But he shook the thought of going outside quickly.

The void was dangerous, and who knew what enemies were lurking outside in wait.

"Maybe I should try fusion and fission more," he wondered.

Then his mind wandered towards the army of souls he possessed.

"Can I fuse those?" he wondered aloud.

He did not wait.

His answers were not going to come unless he tried it.

And with those thoughts, he turned towards the training area.

...

Explosions rang through the training room at close intervals.

Silas looked at the room the explosions were coming from.

"There is someone who is so dedicated that they even train during a time like this," he muttered as he passed the room.

He entered the room next to that one.

"Is everything made with spatial expansion?" Silas wondered.

Almost all the spaceships he had entered had spaces that were too large to be contained within the spaceship’s frame.

This training room he was now in was an example.

It was the size of a small stadium on Veritas.

There were hundreds of robots at one end.

Then a rack that held all the weapons Silas had ever seen, and more of the ones he had never seen.

"Well, the bigger the better," he muttered, walking further into the room.

Standing calmly in the centre of the room, Silas felt the itch to test the limits of his newfound strength.

"Focus."

The soul army began to pour out like a tide.

The massacre from earlier had already given Silas an influx of souls.

Not only that, he had even gained techniques from them.

The only thing he did not receive were cores.

"Why were there no paragon tier experts there?" he wondered.

Then his eyes fell on the soul army.

"Fusion," he said, reaching towards Levi and another random soul.

A blinding light enveloped both souls.

Like they were in a blender, they began to spin together.

In less than 30 seconds, a new soul stepped out of the mixture.

Silas stared at it intently.

"Yeah, it got stronger."

Although it was not by much, looking at the thousands of souls in front of him, he had no fear.

"Well, they are too many, let’s thin them out."

As he said this, he looked through their ranks.

"Just seven is enough."

Lights of different kinds mixed through the room as souls shot into different combinations.

Three minutes of intense mixing passed, and the room finally returned to calm.

Seven people stood in front of Silas, each one radiating an aura that felt stronger than Silas’s.

"Wow, they are all stronger than me already," Silas commented.

"Master Silas, you have a call from Lord Levi."

Just then, Silas heard Rion’s voice in his mind.

"Answer it," Silas said.

Soon, a voice came from the other side.

"Silas, I am about to give the announcement, come to the main section of the ship."

"Okay," Silas said.

He looked at the souls in front of him, then with a thought, sent them back.

"I would continue with this later."
