Silas walked out of the training room with the calm elegance of someone who had nothing to fear.
At the same time, the other door where explosions had been coming from opened with a soft click.
The person who walked out looked familiar to Silas somehow.
"Where have I met her before?" Silas muttered beneath his breath.
The person turned back just at that moment, her eyes locking with Silas’s gaze.
In that split second, Silas’s mind recalled the face.
"The lady I met when I bought my first company building."
The lady smiled when she saw Silas.
"Hi," Silas said.
He knew from her smile that she also remembered him.
The lady waved back.
"You are also a candidate for the Imperial Academy," she said, waiting for Silas to reach her.
Silas nodded.
"Don’t tell me you have not seen or heard of me from anyone," he said with furrowed brows.
After all, Silas was the most popular student. Coupled with his occasional matches during their time on the Orion planet, he expected every candidate to know about him.
"I don’t join any social gatherings," she said with a nervous laughter while scratching her head.
"I thought I was the only one who hated those," Silas replied.
They spoke while making their way towards the main section.
"You did not tell me your name," the lady said, turning to look into Silas’s eyes.
"Silas," he replied instantly.
"I am Hope," the lady replied with a smile.
Silas nodded.
They were back in the open already.
The students had gathered round the same platform where Levi had addressed them a few hours ago.
"What’s your rank? Maybe I can catch up with you later," Silas asked.
"Rank 14," the lady replied.
She wore a confident expression on her face as she spoke.
"Okay," Silas said. "Later then."
Before Hope could say anything else, Silas was pulled away by someone she only saw from behind.
Even though she could not see the person, the person’s frame was something she had seen countless times before.
"Isn’t that Lord Levi?" she muttered beneath her breath.
But she chose not to believe it.
Why would a student, no, an ordinary candidate be dragged away by someone like Levi?
There was no way she would believe it.

The students had stopped moving, everyone paying attention to the platform Levi was bound to use.
And surely, soon enough, Levi appeared on the platform.
He gazed down at the students, his eyes cold and aloof.
"I gathered you all here for a new change to the plan."
As he spoke, he pulled Silas forward, to his side.
"You don’t have to bother reading the manual, Silas, the rank one, would be in charge of supervising the assembly."
Levi caught sight of a student who raised her hand.
"I know your question: how would one person oversee something that large," Levi said. "He has clones for each section, all you have to do is follow him."
Murmurs rippled through the candidates, everyone voicing their concern.
But among them, Hope watched in utter shock at the revelation of Silas.
"Rank 1?"
She had hoped to flaunt her high rank to Silas earlier.
But now, looking back at it, she had only made a fool of herself.
"This guy, he just goes around getting recognition from everyone," Sylvester sighed.
Amelia was the first to nod.
"Yes, right from our planetary awakening academy years."
Billie did not say anything, her eyes were only plastered on Silas and Levi as if even blinking was going to make them disappear.
The meeting was not a long one, but was quick, with Levi only explaining the new plan to the students.
"Assembly starts in 7 hours."
There was no way to measure days here, that was why Levi chose to rely on time, which could be accessed at any time.
With those words, Levi dismissed them.
While the students began to leave for their various places, Levi handed Silas a ring.
"Here, this is a spatial ring containing the weapon."
Silas collected the ring and tucked it onto his finger.
’That makes it four spatial rings,’ he mused.
He was gathering spatial rings like a collection.
One that contained the specimens he had bought from the Orion clan’s treasury, another that contained his spaceship, the one Levi just gave him, and one more.
Levi vanished in a flicker, leaving Silas to his thoughts.
"Silas."
He heard his name.
"Amelia," he muttered, checking through each row for Amelia.
Then, he saw the arms waving towards him.
With a light tap, Silas launched himself into the sky, landing in front of Amelia without causing any disturbance in the area.
"How did you understand the blueprint so fast?" Those were the questions that met Silas as he landed in front of the group.
Sylvester’s eyes were locked with his own.
"That stuff is too complex, I still don’t understand a thing after reading it for over an hour."
Silas shrugged.
"To understand it, you need to have at least 2 brain cells functioning in your head."
"Huh?"
Sylvester did not understand what Silas had said, and Silas did not care to explain.
Sylvester turned away from the group, thinking about what Silas had said.
Meanwhile, Silas shifted his attention towards Amelia and Billie.
"Well, you will be really busy soon, why don’t you take a rest," Amelia said, walking closer to him.
Silas sighed.
"I am at the Ascendant Realm already, I don’t need rest."
"How does it feel? If you were to ever spar with me now, would you win?" Billie asked.
Silas smiled.
"I feel stronger than Lilura now."
Both of them released a long gasp.
Lilura’s power was still so fresh in their minds; to them, she was the definition of menace.
"I wonder how Veritas is doing now," Silas sighed.
He had had too many things on his plate that he forgot about Veritas.
But now that he remembered it, he kind of missed it.
"They should have recovered from that battle, right?" Amelia asked, her brows arcing slightly.
"We can give Alfred a call once we get to the Imperial Academy," Billie added from the side.
"Oh, that’s it," Sylvester suddenly yelled, turning towards Silas. "You don’t have to be mean."
But Silas ignored him completely.
