Maybe I really am a Villian

Before Cassie could say anything, Asher suddenly spoke.

"I guess I was right. It really is like that. You can use the Time Element, and you are probably €¥£€£¥¥¥£€ %¥€€¥€, so it was all his doing. I should have expected this since I got my memories back."

Cassie looked at Asher with a confused expression. She couldn’t understand what he had said, especially the strange words that followed his statement about her using the Time Element.

She then asked, "What are you talking about? What did you say after ’you are probably’? I couldn’t understand that."

Asher looked at Cassie with a confused expression as well. However, his expression soon changed into something more complicated, something Cassie couldn’t understand.

After a moment, he finally said, "I see. It’s pointless. No matter how many times I try to tell you something about that, you won’t hear a thing unless you are strong enough. You’re too weak right now."

Cassie’s expression became even more confused.

She couldn’t understand what he meant by saying that she wasn’t strong enough, nor could she understand what he had been trying to tell her before.

Cassie stared directly into his dark, Abyss-like eyes before asking seriously, "Who are you, and what do you mean by what you just said?"

Asher looked at her for a moment.

There was something strange in his eyes that Cassie couldn’t quite identify. For a brief moment, it looked as if he was both angry and feeling pity for her at the same time.

However, that strange expression disappeared almost immediately, and his eyes returned to normal.

He then calmly said, "You can call me Coward. And what I meant by what I said is something you can’t understand right now."

Asher paused for a moment before asking, "When were you able to use the Time Element?"

Cassie looked at him seriously. Her aura began rising slightly as she became more impatient with his vague answers.

"First, you answer my question. Why can’t I understand what you said before?"

Asher simply sighed.

"It’s because you’re too weak. And honestly, it’s far better if you don’t know about it right now. If I’m correct, you should have gained the ability to use the Time Element about sixteen years ago."

As soon as Cassie heard those words, her expression went completely blank.

That was information that almost no one outside a few high-ranking officials of the Church should have known.

And yet, Asher had not only known about her ability.

He had somehow known exactly when she had gained it.

Cassie’s eyes narrowed as she asked immediately, "How do you know that?"

Asher simply looked at her for a moment.

Internally, however, he was already reaching a conclusion.

"As expected, it really is like this. No human should be able to wield the Time Element unless someone else is helping them."

He then looked back at Cassie and calmly said, "I just know. You wouldn’t understand even if I told you, so it’s pointless."

Cassie’s frustration continued to grow.

Every time she asked him something, Asher gave her the same vague response.

She was too weak.She wouldn’t understand.

It was pointless to explain.

And whenever she asked who he was, all she received was the same strange name.

"Coward."

Cassie couldn’t understand whether he was deliberately avoiding her questions or whether there really was something she wasn’t capable of understanding yet.

Either way, the lack of answers only made her more suspicious of the strange existence standing before her.

Asher then spoke again, his tone still carrying the same strange calmness as before.

"You seemed surprised when you saw me in this form, so tell me, did you see some kind of vision about me? Is that why you were reacting like that?"

Once again, Cassie couldn’t understand how he knew about her vision. She stared at him for a moment before asking, "How do you know that?"

Asher simply smiled.

"I was right, as expected. Well, I don’t know what you saw about me in that vision of yours, but let me tell you something."

He paused for a moment, and his playful expression slowly became more serious.

"You shouldn’t believe everything you see. You should do the things that you truly want to do. And lastly, since your situation reminds me of someone, let me give you some advice."

His gaze remained fixed on Cassie as he continued.

"Don’t come in my way, or else I will kill you. You should just live somewhere quietly for the next three months. After that, you can do whatever you want. I don’t care about that."

Cassie listened to his warning carefully.

She remained silent for a moment before asking, "And if I ask what you mean by all that, you would simply say that it’s something I wouldn’t understand, right?"

Asher looked at her and smiled again.

"Yeah, you’re smart. You got that pretty fast."

Cassie’s expression became increasingly angry from frustration. She was getting tired of hearing the same vague answers every time she asked him something.

Before she could say anything, however, Asher spoke again.

"But I will answer any questions about myself that you ask. I don’t know exactly what you saw in that vision, but I will answer everything honestly."

He paused briefly before his playful expression returned.

"I’m an honest person, you know."

Cassie was frustrated, but if the man standing in front of her was telling her something that could somehow help her, then even if he was lying, it could still give her some kind of clue. She had already noticed that he knew far more than he should, so she decided to ask the question she was most curious about right now.

She looked directly at Asher and asked, "Is the body in front of me only a clone of you, and your real body is somewhere else?"

Asher looked at her for a moment before calmly answering, "The body in front of you is my real body... but it is also not my only real body. I have many bodies."
