Ravena didn’t react to Asher’s mocking and simply remained silent. After she finished the juice, Asher looked at her and casually said, "Now make some Platinum-rank blood clones of yourself. I need them."

Ravena raised her head while still holding the now-empty juice packet. She looked at Asher with confusion before asking, "What do you need Platinum-rank blood clones for? What are you going to do with them?"

Demon Facility Site

The beam of light approaching Cassie finally stopped. The intense light gradually condensed and transformed into the figure of a human.

It was Solarius.

He had finally reached the facility, or what remained of it. The moment he arrived, his gaze swept across the destroyed surroundings. Seeing the enormous destruction caused his expression to immediately turn angry.

He then looked toward Cassie, who was staring back at him with barely restrained murderous intent.

Solarius didn’t react much to her killing intent. Instead, he remained calm and simply said, "Hello, Saintness Cassie. Why did you come here? There was no reason for someone like you to come all the way here."

He paused for a moment before continuing, "It seems you have already killed all the demons who escaped. As expected of you. Now I can take care of everything here, so you can leave and rest. We can talk about whatever you wanted to discuss later, after I return."

He continued speaking without giving Cassie any chance to interrupt.

Cassie’s expression became increasingly serious as she listened to him. Finally, she raised her voice and asked, "What is the meaning of this, Immortal Solarius? Why do you have demons trapped here in the first place, even when you know how dangerous it can really be if they escape?"

Solarius remained calm and answered in the same composed tone, "It was for the creation of artifacts that could help us negate the effects of demon abilities and make fighting them easier."

He continued explaining, "We have even managed to create artifacts capable of negating the abilities of Grandmaster-rank demons. There are also many other artifacts that could help us in the future war, and perhaps one day, they might even help us eliminate all the demons in one go."

His expression became slightly excited as he continued, "Wouldn’t that be really goo—"

Before he could finish speaking, a beam of light suddenly passed only a hair’s width from his face.

Solarius immediately stopped.

His expression became serious as he slowly looked toward Cassie.

Cassie’s face was filled with restrained anger. She pointed toward the remains of the strange fetus and woman that Asher had previously summoned.

Then she asked in an angry tone, "And what do you have to say about this? What were you trying to do with this, then? If the only thing you were doing here was creating artifacts, there was no need for something like this, don’t you think?"

Solarius looked toward the remains for a moment. His expression remained serious, but a faint smile soon appeared on his face.

"We were simply trying to fix demons."

He paused briefly before continuing, "Wouldn’t it be better if we could remove their destructive instincts and their desire to consume other beings? If we could accomplish that, they would become just like us humans."

He looked back at Cassie and calmly said, "Then there would be no need for war."

Then, a strong pressure suddenly descended upon Solarius, forcing him to stop speaking. The overwhelming pressure came from Cassie, who had finally released her aura. Her expression was filled with anger and frustration as she stared directly at him.

Her voice was filled with anger and mockery as she said, "And how were you going to do that? By making a new species of Demons yourself? What a load of lies. At least hear yourself and listen to what you are saying right now. Does any of that even make sense? You were simply doing all of this for your own selfish desires. Helping humanity is nothing more than an excuse."

Solarius listened quietly without saying anything. He didn’t interrupt her or even try to defend himself. He simply stood there and allowed Cassie to finish speaking.

Cassie wanted to kill everyone who knew about what had happened in this facility, especially the man standing in front of her. But she couldn’t even kill him. If she did, it wouldn’t simply be the death of one person. It would mean going against the entire Church itself, something she couldn’t afford to do.

Even though she was extremely important to the Church and held a position that gave her enormous authority, that didn’t mean she could simply do whatever she wanted. There were still rules, consequences, and people above her who would oppose her if she crossed certain lines.

Solarius finally looked at Cassie with a serious expression. For a moment, neither of them said anything.

Then, unexpectedly, his serious expression slowly changed.

A smile appeared on his face.

As Cassie saw that smile, her anger grew even stronger. She hated the way he was smiling at her, especially when he knew exactly what he had done and still didn’t seem to feel ashamed of it.

But despite her anger, she couldn’t actually do anything to him.

That realization only made her more frustrated.

Solarius finally spoke in a calm and almost casual tone.

"Yeah, you’re right. That excuse was really poor, but I couldn’t think of anything better, so sorry."

His smile remained on his face as he continued, "Yeah, we did it for our own selfish desires. So what do you want to do now?"

He paused for a moment.

Then his smile widened even further.

"Kill me?"

Cassie clenched her fist tightly in anger. Her aura suddenly became even more powerful, spreading throughout the ruined facility like an invisible storm.

The air around her began to tremble.

A massive Phoenix made entirely of brilliant light suddenly appeared behind her. Its enormous wings spread across the sky as its body radiated an overwhelming divine presence.
