Cassie stared directly at Solarius and said in an angry voice, "Do you think I won’t kill you?"
Solarius remained completely calm.
He simply looked at the gigantic Phoenix hovering behind Cassie, showing no sign of fear despite the enormous power it contained.
Then he calmly said, "Try those threats on someone else. First of all, you aren’t strong enough to kill me, and you aren’t powerful enough to face the consequences of killing me."
His expression remained relaxed as he continued, "At best, you’ll kill me, then simply rewind time and revive me. And after that, what exactly will you accomplish?"
He slightly tilted his head.
"So drop this show of anger. Don’t forget, you have a daughter waiting for you at home. You wouldn’t wa—"
Before Solarius could finish speaking, the enormous Phoenix suddenly moved.
Its massive body turned toward him, and in the next instant, it lunged directly at Solarius with terrifying speed.
The surrounding air shook from the force of its movement.
Yet Solarius didn’t even attempt to defend himself.
He simply stood there and calmly looked at the incoming attack, his expression remaining completely composed as the giant Phoenix rapidly approached him.
Just as the giant Phoenix was about to hit him, it suddenly stopped.
Its enormous body froze only a short distance away from Solarius, the overwhelming light surrounding it still pressing against the ruined surroundings. Despite the attack stopping right in front of him, Solarius didn’t move or show even the slightest sign of fear.
Cassie then said coldly, her voice filled with anger, "Don’t even talk about my daughter from your filthy mouth."
After saying that, Cassie immediately dissolved the Phoenix. The giant figure of light gradually disappeared, leaving only the fading traces of her aura behind.
Solarius smiled even further as he watched her.
’It really is fun to watch others struggling inside the chains that they themselves chose,’ Solarius thought inwardly.
He then calmly said, "Good. Smart people should be like that. So, now let’s forget about this."
Cassie immediately replied, "Not unless everyone who was involved in this is punished."
Solarius’s expression became slightly annoyed for the first time. He looked at Cassie for a moment before answering in a calm tone.
"Don’t worry. Everyone involved in these acts is already dead. They died because of the demons, so there is no need to punish anyone anymore. And don’t worry, it will not happen again."
’It will. Do everything you can to stop it, stupid bitch,’ Solarius thought inwardly while continuing to maintain his calm expression.
Cassie didn’t say anything.
She simply stood there in silence, clenching her fists as she cursed herself for her own weakness.
Deep down, she already knew that something like this would happen again, no matter what she did. At best, she could reduce the number of people who would suffer from it, but she couldn’t completely eradicate such things unless she became a Saint-rank existence.
’I have to reach Saint rank. Only then will I be able to protect everyone.’
She remained silent for several moments, thinking about what she needed to do next.
While Cassie was lost in her thoughts, Solarius suddenly asked, "By the way, what really happened here? Even four Grandmasters were unable to solve this situation and ended up dying. And you did kill every demon that escaped, right?"
Cassie looked toward him without immediately answering.
Few Minutes Ago
Southern Ocean
Asher looked at Ravena and then smiled.
He casually said, "I need your Blood clones because I need to provide justice to every human there. Don’t you think they deserve justice? I provided justice to the demons, but I should also provide justice to those humans who were trapped there, don’t you think?"
Ravena looked at Asher in complete disbelief.
’What justice? It was you who killed them when you could have easily stopped it if you wanted to. You were able to escape freely, but you still chose to kill everyone there.’
Ravena thought about it but didn’t say anything.
She simply remained silent while looking at Asher with an expression that clearly showed how little she believed his words.
Asher, however, continued speaking as if he hadn’t noticed her expression at all.
"I am a really kind person, you know. Since that Saintness probably won’t be able to give them justice, I should provide justice to them myself."
He sighed dramatically before continuing.
"There is no end to my kindness. Sigh... And still, people keep saying that I am a villain."
’Because you are a villain. No, you’re even worse than them.’
Ravena silently cursed him in her mind.
She didn’t bother arguing with Asher because she already knew that there was no point in doing so.
Instead, she created several Platinum-rank blood clones of herself. Fortunately, creating Platinum-rank clones wasn’t particularly costly for her, so she could produce them without much difficulty.
Asher looked at the newly created clones and simply smiled.
Then, as if he had suddenly remembered something important, he said, "Time to get some good views on social media."
Ravena stared at him with a confused expression.
Asher continued speaking casually, "They should really delete the CCTV storage before being killed. And they shouldn’t store information anywhere other than inside their brains."
How the hell is someone supposed to delete their storage while being killed? No, why would anyone even do that in the first place?’ Ravena thought, but she didn’t say anything.
She simply stared at Asher for a few moments, wondering what kind of logic was going through his head. At this point, she had already stopped trying to understand him.
Asher then looked at her and casually said, "I am going somewhere with your clones for a while. They probably won’t be coming back."
Ravena was already sure about that.
Judging from everything Asher had done so far, there was almost no chance those clones would return safely. She didn’t even bother asking where he was taking them because she had a feeling she wouldn’t like the answer anyway.
