The next morning, Nobody woke up earlier than usual.
Sunlight slipped through the curtains of his apartment, spreading across the floor in thin golden lines. For once, there was no emergency notification waiting above his head. No mysterious aura. No villain suddenly appearing outside his window.
Nobody stared at the ceiling for several seconds. Then he slowly sat up. "Nothing happened." He blinked. "That’s suspicious."
The System appeared immediately.

Nobody stared at the last line. "You really can’t stop saying that, can you?"
The System remained silent.
Nobody sighed and got out of bed.
After everything that had happened recently,he almost felt strange having an ordinary morning. The chairman had been arrested. Aiden had been cleared. The evidence Nobody collected had exposed a major part of Eclipse Corporation’s scheme.
For once, the city was quiet.
Nobody put on his usual office clothes and headed outside.
The streets were already busy.
Cars moved through the intersections. Office workers hurried toward buildings. Small shops were opening, and the smell of freshly prepared food drifted through the morning air.
Nobody walked among them without attracting any attention. That was something he had grown to appreciate.
During the night, he was Crimson Bunny. During the day, he was Nobody. And for a little while, he wanted to enjoy being neither a hero nor some strange system-powered anomaly. Just a normal person.
Unfortunately,the System disagreed.
"User has received a message."
Nobody stopped walking. "A message?"
A translucent screen appeared.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
[Incoming Message]
Sender: Aiden
Message:
Can you come to Nathan Industries?
Additional Message:
It’s important.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Nobody stared at the screen. "Why does everyone suddenly need me?"
The System offered no response.
Nobody continued walking. "Fine. Let’s see what happened."
......
Nathan Industries was unusually busy.
The previous scandal had shaken the company badly, but after Aiden’s acquittal, the atmosphere had started changing.
Employees who had previously avoided eye contact with Aiden were now openly speaking with him.
Some apologized. Others simply stayed silent.
Aiden stood inside his office, looking through a stack of documents.
Toma was sitting nearby. She had been unusually quiet.
Nobody entered the room. "You called."
Aiden looked up. "There you are."
Nobody pulled a chair closer. "What happened?"
Aiden placed several documents on the desk. "After the chairman’s arrest, we started investigating everyone connected to the altered contracts."
Nobody’s expression became serious. "And?"
"We found more irregularities."
Nobody leaned forward. "What kind?"
"Payments." Aiden turned one of the documents around. "Several employees received unexplained transfers from companies connected to Eclipse."
Nobody looked through the records. "How many?"
"So far, we’ve identified six."
"Only six?"
"We’re still investigating."
Nobody nodded slowly.
That made sense. The chairman had been too careful to depend on only one or two people. If Eclipse had been planning this for a long time, there were probably more connections hidden inside Nathan Industries.
Toma finally spoke. "There’s something else."
Nobody looked at her. "What?"
Toma hesitated. "We found a name."
She pushed a photograph across the desk.
Nobody looked down.
A man’s face stared back at him. He appeared to be in his forties, with short black hair and glasses. He looked completely ordinary.
Nobody frowned. "Who is he?"
Aiden answered. "Daniel Cross. He used to work in our legal department."
"Used to?"
"He resigned three months ago."
Nobody studied the photograph. "And where is he now?"
"We don’t know."
Nobody’s eyes narrowed. "That’s convenient."
Aiden nodded. "Very."
Toma remained quiet. Nobody glanced toward her. She wasn’t looking at the photograph. She was looking at him. Her expression was strange.
Not fear. Not suspicion. Something softer. Something Nobody couldn’t identify.
He tilted his head. "What?"
Toma blinked. "Nothing."
"You were staring at me."
"I wasn’t."
"You definitely were."
Toma looked away. "I was thinking."
"About me?"
She became slightly embarrassed. "No."
Nobody smiled. "That sounded suspicious."
Aiden looked between them. "Can both of you stop?"
Nobody laughed. Toma lowered her eyes, but there was a faint smile on her face. For some reason, Nobody felt strangely comfortable seeing that smile. It was a small thing. Something he couldn’t explain. Yet for a brief moment, he felt like he had seen it before.
Not yesterday. Not last week. Much earlier. Somewhere beyond his memory. Someone smiling at him. A voice calling his name. The image vanished before he could grasp it.
Nobody’s smile disappeared.
Toma noticed. "Are you okay?"
Nobody blinked. "Yeah."
"You looked like you remembered something."
"I don’t think so."
Toma watched him carefully. "I get that feeling sometimes too."
Nobody looked at her. "What feeling?"
She hesitated. "Like I’ve met someone before."
Nobody’s heart skipped for the briefest moment. "Who?"
Toma looked directly into his eyes. "I don’t know."
Silence settled over the office. Aiden glanced between them again.
Nobody quickly broke the silence. "Anyway, we should find this Daniel Cross guy."
Aiden nodded. "Agreed."
Nobody picked up the photograph. "Where did you last see him?"
"Three months ago."
"Any known relatives?"
"His sister lives in the northern district."
"Address?"
Aiden handed him a note.
Nobody looked at it. "I’ll check."
Aiden immediately shook his head. "No."
Nobody looked up. "No?"
"You’ve already done enough."
Nobody raised an eyebrow. "That’s the first time anyone has told me that."
"I’m serious."
Aiden leaned back.
Nobody smiled. "You’re starting to sound like I am going to do some crazy stuff if I know.."
The System immediately appeared.

The male leads assumption is accurate though

Nobody stared at it. "No one asked you."
Aiden frowned. "What are you looking at?"
"Nothing."
The screen vanished.
Nobody remained silent for a moment before looking at Aiden. "If you’re investigating the employees connected to those payments, what do you need me to do?"
Aiden leaned back in his chair. "Nothing dangerous. I want you to help me look into Daniel Cross."
Nobody raised an eyebrow. "Me?"
"You’ve always been good at noticing things other people overlook."
Nobody almost laughed. If Aiden only knew. "I’ll see what I can find."
Aiden nodded. "We don’t know where Daniel is now,but his sister still lives in the northern district. We thought she might know where he went after resigning."
Nobody picked up the address Aiden had placed on the desk. "Then I’ll check there."
Toma suddenly stood. "I’ll come with you."
Nobody looked at her. "You?"
"Yes."
"Why?"
Toma paused. She seemed to think about it for a moment before giving a small shrug. "I don’t know."
Nobody raised an eyebrow. "That’s a strange answer."
Toma smiled faintly. "I just feel like I should."
Something about those words struck Nobody. A familiar warmth passed through him. He couldn’t explain it. It felt like he had heard those words before. Not yesterday. Not recently. Somewhere far away. Somewhere he could no longer remember.
Nobody stared at Toma for another second before looking away. "Fine."
Toma smiled. "Okay."
Neither of them noticed the faint distortion that appeared at the edge of Nobody’s vision.

The notification disappeared before Nobody could notice it. "Did something appear just now? Maybe I am tired." He stood and slipped the address into his pocket.
Aiden watched them leave. "Be careful."
Nobody glanced back. "We’re only visiting someone’s house."
"Still."
Nobody smiled. "Relax."
The two of them left the office.
Neither Aiden nor Toma knew that Nobody had already begun thinking about the situation differently.
To Aiden, this was a simple investigation into a former employee. To Toma, it was an ordinary trip to speak with Daniel Cross’s sister.
But Nobody had another thought. If Daniel Cross really had connections to Eclipse, then someone had gone to considerable effort to make sure his current location remained unknown.
That wasn’t normal. And Nobody had learned one thing from his previous investigations. When someone tried too hard to hide something, the hidden thing was usually worth finding.
He walked beside Toma through the company’s lobby. For the moment, he was simply Nobody.
No Crimson Bunny helmet. No secret identity. No supernatural investigation. Just a man helping a friend investigate a former employee. But once night came, Nobody intended to look deeper. And this time, he would do it without letting anyone discover who he really was.
.....
The northern district was quieter than Nobody expected.
Toma walked beside him as they followed the address Aiden had given them. The afternoon sun reflected off the windows of the surrounding buildings, while the sidewalks remained crowded with people returning from lunch.
Nobody glanced at the piece of paper in his hand. "According to this, it should be somewhere around here."
Toma looked at the buildings ahead. "Do you think his sister will know where he went?"
"Hopefully."
"And if she doesn’t?"
Nobody shrugged. "Then we’ll look for another lead."
Toma smiled. "You always sound so calm."
"Should I panic?"
She laughed softly. "No, dummy."
They continued walking.
Nobody noticed that Toma had unconsciously moved closer to him. Neither of them mentioned it. After several minutes, they finally found the building.
Nobody looked up at the apartment number.
"This is it."
