My Cuckhold System

Chapter 334: Endorsement Deal

The man slid several charts across the desk. "Especially after the battle with Iron Vultures."

West glanced at the graphs before pushing them toward Aria.

She immediately began reviewing every page while the representative continued.

"We’d like to sign you as one of Silver Crest’s public ambassadors."

West raised an eyebrow. "...Public ambassador?"

The woman among the representatives smiled. "Television advertisements."

"Billboards."

"Promotional videos."

"Public appearances."

"Social media campaigns."

"In short..."

"We’d like you to become one of the faces of Silver Crest Milk."

West couldn’t help laughing. "I’ve gone from fighting gang wars..."

"...to advertising milk?"

Everyone chuckled. "It certainly sounds unusual."

West folded his arms thoughtfully. "I’ll be honest."

"I have an enormous amount on my plate right now."

"I don’t think I’ll have the time."

West was about to decline them when Aria finally looked up from the documents and whispered towards him. "I don’t recommend that."

She calmly adjusted the glasses on her face while crouching slightly to whisper in West’s ears.

"This isn’t just about money," she stated. "It’s public relations."

"They’re using Shadow Reapers’ recent rise to popularity."

"...and we’ll use their reputation."

She tapped one of the financial reports. "A nationally recognized company publicly associating with us sends a message."

"That Shadow Reapers is becoming legitimate."

"It increases public trust."

"It attracts sponsors."

"It attracts investors."

"It attracts talent."

She smiled faintly. "It’s good business."

West nodded slowly. "...Fair point."

He leaned back. "Then I’ll leave the negotiations to you."

Aria smiled confidently. "Gladly."

The next hour became almost entirely business.

Numbers, advertising schedules, usage rights, renewal clauses, performance bonuses and exclusivity periods were discussed.

West mostly listened while Aria negotiated with astonishing professionalism.

Several times the Silver Crest representatives attempted to steer the discussion in their favor.

Every single attempt was calmly dismantled. "We’d prefer a three-year exclusivity period."

Aria shook her head. "One year."

"Renewable."

"...Two?"

"One."

"What about image ownership?"

"Limited."

"Regional advertising?"

"Accepted."

"National?"

"Additional compensation."

West watched quietly from his chair, absolutely astounded by how useful Aria was. Not only was she the woman that disvirgined him, she was also the one who had been his greatest supporting pillar when creating Shadow Reapers.

’She deserves a raise... and definitely more of my attention...’ he decided internally.

West then leaned toward one of the representatives and whispered jokingly, "I almost feel sorry for you."

The man sighed dramatically. "So do I."

Eventually, both parties reached an agreement.

Contracts were produced, pens exchanged hands and signatures filled each page.

Finally... everyone stood.

The lead representative extended his hand. "Welcome to the Silver Crest family, Mr. Einstein."

West shook it firmly. "We look forward to working together."

"As do we."

After exchanging several more pleasantries, the representatives departed.

Immediately after the office door closed, West immediately looked toward Aria. "...You’re terrifying."

She blinked innocently. "I negotiated fairly."

"You negotiated like a predator."

"I’ll take that as a compliment."

West laughed and gave her a kiss on the lips. "I’m very glad you’re on my side."

"So am I," she responded cutely before kissing him back.

He hugged her and slapped her buttcheeks, causing her to giggle before dismantling.

"Naughty boss."

Meanwhile, across the city... Liz quietly sorted paperwork at her desk.

Business had improved considerably during the past week.

Several of the property acquisitions she had arranged for West were already progressing smoothly.

For the first time in months... she felt hopeful.

A coworker unexpectedly approached. "Liz."

She looked up. "Yeah?"

"The boss wants to see you."

Her smile faded slightly. "I’ll head over."

Moments later... she knocked on the large office door.

"Come in."

Her manager sat comfortably behind his expensive mahogany desk with several files resting before him.

He smiled. "Liz."

She bowed politely. "You wanted to see me, sir?"

"I did," he gestured toward the chair. "Sit."

She complied and the manager began to open one of the files before him.

"I’ve been reviewing your recent performance."

"I have to say..."

"I’m impressed."

Liz smiled politely. "Thank you, sir."

He nodded. "West Einstein himself."

"A gang leader."

"The leader of the rising Shadow Reapers."

He chuckled. "You’ve managed something most agents could only dream of."

"I merely did my job."

"Modest too," he leaned back.

"The twelve-million-dollar acquisition was exceptional."

"You’ve brought considerable prestige to this company."

Liz lowered her head slightly. "I’m grateful for the opportunity."

They exchanged several more minutes of pleasant conversation before Liz eventually rose because she still had work to do. "If there’s nothing else, sir—"

"There is."

She paused upon hearing that.

His smile slowly disappeared as he added. "One final matter."

She sat back down. "...Yes?"

He folded his hands. "Your debt."

Liz frowned. "...My debt?"

"With the recent commissions, it should already be fully repaid."

He slowly shook his head. "No."

She blinked. "I’m sorry?"

"The principal may have been covered."

He calmly slid another folder toward her. "But the debt remained outstanding for over seven months."

"It accumulated interest."

Liz opened the folder and her expression changed immediately. "This..."

"This can’t be right."

She rapidly flipped through the pages. "The numbers don’t make sense."

"They do."

"No."

"They’ve nearly doubled."

He shrugged. "Interest."

She looked at him in disbelief. "Sir..."

"This wasn’t what we agreed."

"It is now."

Silence settled over the room and after several moments of feeling helpless, she inhaled deeply. "...Fine."

"What do you need me to do?"

His smile returned. "Now we’re talking."

He pushed another file toward her. "I’ve noticed something."

"West Einstein spent twelve million dollars without hesitation."

"He clearly trusts your judgment."

Liz slowly opened the folder while he continued speaking.

"If he’s willing to invest that much once..."

"...he’ll likely invest again."

"I want you to present this opportunity to him."

She looked down at the first page and her eyes immediately widened.

"...This..." her voice nearly disappeared. "This project..."

She slowly looked back at her manager. "You... want me to sell this to him?"

His smile widened. "I don’t want you to."

"I expect you to."

"And make sure he buys it."

Liz stared silently at the folder resting in her trembling hands.

The glossy presentation made the investment look extraordinary.

High-resolution aerial photographs, beautiful architectural concepts, projected revenue charts, development forecasts... and so on.

At first glance... it looked like the opportunity of a lifetime but she knew better.

Her trembling fingers slowly turned another page.

The smile she had worn moments earlier was completely gone. "...No."

Her boss leaned back comfortably.

"What?"

"I’m not doing this."

She looked up, meeting his eyes. "This land is practically worthless."

She tapped the first page. "A huge portion of it is unusable."

"The environmental cleanup alone would cost millions."

She flipped to another document. "The abandoned offshore oil rig has been inactive for years."

"The restoration costs are astronomical."

She turned another page. "Several permits are still tied up in litigation."

"Half the surrounding infrastructure needs replacing."

"And despite all that..." she pushed the file back across the desk. "...you’re trying to sell it for twenty million dollars."

Her boss simply smiled. "Exactly."

Liz couldn’t believe what she was hearing. "No serious investor would touch this."

He nodded. "That’s the problem."

He folded his hands together. "Our usual clients all have financial advisors."

"Law firms."

"Independent consultants."

"They’ll tear this proposal apart before we even finish presenting it," he chuckled.

"But..." his smile widened. "West Einstein..."

Liz frowned while her boss laughed like a predator with his eyes set on a prey. "He’s perfect."

"Eighteen years old."

"Recently rich."

"Recently famous."

"A gang leader who suddenly has millions."

He pointed toward the proposal. "He’s exactly the kind of person who wouldn’t know enough about large-scale property acquisitions."

"And most importantly..." his grin became predatory. "He trusts you."

Liz’s expression hardened. "No."

"He trusts my judgment."

"Exactly."

"You can sell this to him."

"He’ll sign."

"And even if he realizes later..." the man laughed to himself. "...it’ll already be too late."

Liz slowly stood and placed the folder back onto his desk. "I’m not doing it."

The manager’s smile disappeared. "You don’t have a choice."

"I do," she turned toward the door. "I’ll resign."

"You can’t."

She looked back. "...Why not?"

"You still owe this company."

She stared. "My debt should already be cleared."

He casually opened another ledger. "It isn’t."

She immediately understood.

He wasn’t going to let her leave, no matter what she paid...

No matter how much commission she generated... there would always be another number... another excuse... another debt...

She clenched her fists. "This isn’t fair."

"It doesn’t have to be."

She tried reasoning with him but every conversation circled back to the same answer.

"You owe the company."

Eventually... her shoulders slowly sank and she realized... there was no winning inside this office.

She quietly picked the file back up without a choice.

Her boss smiled triumphantly. "I knew you’d make the sensible decision."

Without answering, simply walked out.

The following days were miserable for Liz.

She barely slept... her meals became smaller... and her smile became rarer.

Every time she looked at the proposal, she felt sick.

More than once... she considered simply disappearing, changing jobs and starting over somewhere else.

But reality quickly caught up with her. Not only would she start over from the beginning with low commissions which would mean she couldn’t sort medical bills, rent and medication... her boss also had connections and could send Law enforcement after her.

She couldn’t simply walk away.

She sat at home staring at the proposal while her fiancé slept peacefully nearby.

"I can’t do this..." she whispered. "But...

"I don’t have another option..."
