My Hidden Heresy Skill Forged an SSS-Ranked Harem for Infinite Points
Chapter 263: Karol’s PlanThe immense earth dragon let out a deafening roar that made the snowy ground vibrate beneath the girls’ feet.
Mira did not waste time with simple provocations and launched her next direct attack.
Hundreds of sharp solid rock spikes emerged violently from the earth, heading like deadly spears toward the group.
Karol reacted in a fraction of a second.
She slammed the base of her staff against the ground and activated one of her magical items.
"Earth Twins," Karol pronounced.
Two massive walls of compact rock, molded into the shape of gigantic shields, rose in front of them, blocking the brutal impact of the spikes.
The clash kicked up a cloud of dust, but Karol did not stop to look at the result. She quickly switched elements, channeling her power into her second magical item.
"Fire Twins."
Two massive spheres of burning flames took the shape of wolf heads. But Karol did not settle for that. Using her elemental mastery, she wrapped the fire constructs in her own destructive electricity.
The twin attacks shot forward at blinding speed, leaving a trail of purple lightning in the cold air, and slammed directly into the dragon’s massive chest.
A massive explosion of fire and electricity shook the western tower.
But when the smoke cleared, Mira was still there, completely intact and covered by her impenetrable magical rock armor. The combined attack had done absolutely nothing to her.
Beatrice did not lag behind and launched herself forward.
She moved like a shadow, wielding her dual daggers with lethal speed. Beatrice tried to find a single opening in the heavy stone plates covering the monster, launching precise slashes at the neck and joints.
But Mira simply swept her immense tail across the ground, forcing Beatrice to retreat immediately with an acrobatic leap to avoid being crushed.
From a distance, Mirian readied her bow.
"Arrow Rain," Mirian exclaimed.
A barrage of magical projectiles fell from the sky like a deadly downpour, but the arrows simply bounced off the dragon’s hard surface without leaving a single scratch.
Upon seeing the attack’s ineffectiveness, Mirian clicked her tongue and switched techniques.
She locked her sights on a small gap near the dragon’s jaw and fired.
"Phantom Arrow."
The projectile disappeared into the air the moment it left the bow, instantly teleporting to strike Mira’s blind spot from behind.
The arrow managed to slightly pierce the stone, drawing a small roar of annoyance from the monster.
But almost immediately, the dragon’s thick mana flowed into the wound, and the rock regenerated and covered the gap in the blink of an eye.
The frustration was evident on the group’s faces.
It was then that Alicia took a step forward, breathing in the freezing night air deeply.
"Normally, for beastmen, letting themselves be carried away by instinct and transforming completely gives them enormous pleasure," Alicia said, keeping her gaze fixed on the dragon. "Once they start the process, the euphoria is so great that they cannot stop and they feel a violent impulse."
Alicia squeezed her eyes shut for a brief second.
"But, there is a state that few in my race apply," Alicia added with confidence. "And that grants us great power."
Instantly, Alicia’s body began to change.
Her hands and legs were covered in dense fur, and her nails elongated, turning into sharp, lethal claws. Her muscles tensed, increasing her mass and density.
And when she opened her eyes, their usual color had been replaced by an intense, bright predatory yellow.
"Stopping the transformation halfway. In this form, my skills far surpass someone of my own rank."
Mira, enraged, fired a rock the size of a motorhome straight at Alicia.
But Alicia did not flinch.
With a quick, fluid movement, she raised her transformed hand and stopped the massive stone projectile dead in its tracks.
With a simple squeeze of her claws and a burst of her doubled brute strength, Alicia shattered the rock into thousands of harmless pieces that fell at her feet. Her speed, her physical power, and above all, her control over her internal mana had reached a completely new level.
Karol, Mirian, and Beatrice were impressed for a second, for they had never seen Alicia fight in such a bestial way before.
Then, upon seeing her companion’s new capability, Karol smiled widely.
"My plan now has a much higher chance of working," Karol said, wiping the sweat from her forehead.
"Just tell us what plan you have in mind," Beatrice said, as they all began to jump and dodge a new rain of earth spikes sent by the dragon.
Karol looked at them intensely while blocking the attacks.
"Beatrice, I need you to use your epic bracelets and wrap that giant lizard in your poisonous threads," Karol explained quickly. "I am going to absorb her mana until she is completely weakened."
Mirian, who had just landed after dodging a charge, intervened immediately.
"That will not work, Karol," Mirian said with a frown. "Dragons are the beings that possess the most mana in the entire world. No matter how much you try to absorb her energy, you will not manage to weaken her."
Karol nodded her head, dodging another rock that grazed her shoulder.
"I know that perfectly well," Karol clarified. "But I am not going to absorb the mana directly from her body, but the external mana she uses to hold her earth armor together. And I will do it by flowing my magic through Beatrice’s threads as if they were a conductor."
Then, Karol looked down for a fraction of a second.
"Although I have never in my life done something this crazy before," Karol murmured to herself, feeling a slight nervousness run down her spine.
"What did you say?" Mirian and Beatrice asked in unison, unable to hear her well due to the noise of the combat.
"Nothing, nothing!" Karol yelled immediately. "I just need you to trust me to do this!"
The group nodded and continued moving quickly across the battlefield, repelling the beast’s constant attacks.
"Miserable, loud worms!" Mira roared from the center of the field, kicking up a cloud of snow. "Stop jumping around like scared insects and die once and for all!"
Karol ignored the dragon’s insults and dictated her final orders to the team.
"Listen carefully, while I am focused on absorbing the energy through the threads, I will be almost defenseless," Karol said.
Then she looked at the transformed girl.
"Alicia, I need you to use your strength to block and destroy absolutely all the physical attacks that slip past my barriers and the Earth Twin’s defenses. You will be my only shield."
"Understood," Alicia replied, baring her sharp fangs in a savage smile.
Then, Karol looked at Beatrice.
"Beatrice, your job is crucial. I ask you to catch that dragon and not let her go for anything in the world, use your threads to tie her up with all the strength of your Principality rank."
"Consider it done," Beatrice said.
She activated the power of her epic bracelets, from which thick, lethal, glowing poisonous threads began to emerge.
Mirian, with her bow held tightly in her hand, approached Karol.
"And what do you want me to do in all this?" Mirian asked.
Karol looked her straight in the eyes with absolute seriousness.
"Right now, with that weapon and your skills, you are the most powerful of all of us in terms of pure damage," Karol explained. "Concentrate your best and most lethal magical attack. Prepare it for the exact moment that bitch’s earth armor breaks due to the lack of mana."
Karol pointed her staff at the massive dragon preparing for another brutal charge.
"When her skin is exposed, you must kill her without hesitation," Karol ordered.
Mirian heard the order, feeling responsibility fall on her shoulders. She raised her bow, channeling all her power into a single glowing arrow, and smiled defiantly.
"All right, count on it," Mirian said.
