Leone’s return trip was smooth. They didn’t encounter any trouble along the way.

And since they were flying, they managed to return to the Aslan Tribe in the shortest time possible.

When they arrived, the first thing Leone noticed was Jason doing push-ups on the ramparts, with Tianna sitting on his back.

"What happened when I was away?" Leone asked Vlad as soon as Arion landed on the fortress.

"Sister Natalia told Jason about some rumors. You know, the one about that representative of the Grimhowl Tribe wishing to marry my sister!" Vlad replied angrily. "Because if he wins the tournament, his prize is a wish from any of the Chieftains. Hmph! As if they can win against the representative of the Warclaw Tribe!"

Vlad really loved his sister. In his eyes, the only one who was worthy of her was Leone. It was only for this reason that he supported Jason’s training.

The teenager believed that if Jason won, Leone would then ask for Tianna’s hand in marriage.

That would be the best outcome since that would officially make Vlad and his idol family!

However, he wasn’t aware of Jason’s motivation to train hard. The one he was helping to win also wanted the right to ask for Tianna’s hand in marriage.

If Vlad only knew that he was supporting a traitor, he might have already stabbed Jason with a kitchen knife then and there!

"I see." Leone nodded in understanding.

Truth be told, he already knew about the tournament and had already planned for it.

He had even purchased a Martial Skill that would greatly increase Jason’s martial strength the moment he mastered it.

The only reason why he didn’t give it right away was that he needed to go to the Sandreaver Tribe first. Though now that he was back, he would focus on letting Jason get the power-up that he deserved.

"How was the trip to the Sandreaver Tribe, Leone?" Vlad asked. "They really don’t let outsiders enter their territory, so it’s a surprise that Lord Malik personally invited you."

"It went well," Leone replied. "The Sandreaver Tribe and the Aslan Tribe are now allies."

"As expected of our Great Chieftain!" Kael appeared out of nowhere, which almost made Leone jump from shock.

Fortunately, he was able to plant his feet firmly on the ground, or else Vlad might have laughed at him.

"Kael, how was the tribe while I was away?" Leone asked. "Did you encounter any problems?"

"The tribe is doing well, Great Chieftain," Kael replied calmly. "However, the warriors are trying to compete on who will accompany you in the upcoming Tribal Gathering. I want it to be as fair as possible, so I decided to wait for you to arrive first before making a decision.

"Though I should also mention that the Ravage Tribe also wishes to participate in it. Logan already told me that he, Rasta, and Khan are going with you. I believe they are using the excuse of wanting to exchange cultural differences with the barbarians. However, in all likelihood, they are coming to ensure your safety."

Leone smiled faintly. He could see Logan doing just that.

After all, the Orc Champion was now his sworn brother. Any damage he took would reflect on him as well.

The young chieftain believed that it was fair for Logan to go to the Tribal Gathering as well.

Then again, since Hagen might do something, having a powerful ally by his side was very reassuring.

"Oh, I almost forgot." At those words, Leone glanced at the city that he and Daedalus had built.

The monument where the remains of the Darkmane Tribe warriors were buried stood at its very center.

However, it didn’t end there. Soon, Leone raised his hand, and the statue of the Earth Mother appeared behind the monument in response.

She was the Goddess whom the barbarians, the Orcs, and other monster races worshiped. The mother of all life. Having her as a patron Goddess of the Aslan Tribe proved that Leone respected their beliefs.

Kael watched this scene with a calm gaze. Although his Great Chieftain didn’t say anything, he understood why he added the monument of the Earth Goddess at the very center of the city.

The young man had decided that he would also bury the remains of the brave warriors of the Aslan Tribe at the city center, right beside the monument of the Darkmane Tribe.

"Daedalus, please," Leone said through telepathy.

"Understood," Daedalus replied.

With that, the monument where the warriors of the Aslan Tribe were buried disappeared from its spot, only to then reappear at the center of the city.

It stood right beside the monument of the Darkmane Tribe, with the statue of the Earth Goddess towering above both.

Leone then added an engraving to the monument, stating the thoughts that were inside his head.

It read...

"Here lie the great warriors of the Aslan Tribe. They were all brave men and women who fought to protect those whom they held sacred. They now feast in the Halls of the Brave, where the Earth Mother holds them in her loving embrace."

Leone then took a step back and pressed his hands together to offer a prayer.

Those who were with him did the same.

Truth be told, having a monument that belonged to another tribe at the very center of the city of another tribe was something that never happened before.

Though since it was at the city’s center, it would become a symbol when more people visited their territory.

Those who hadn’t been there during the battle against the Monster King would not understand. However, those who fought side by side with the other tribes would feel the great significance of these two monuments.

To them, they were the symbol of two warring tribes that had decided to set their differences aside and fight against a common enemy.

Of course, that was not the true story of the war. Everyone knew that.

But Leone was the victor of the war.

He had the power to write history as he saw fit. With that said, the young chieftain would ensure that all the historians would call this great war the "War of the Lions".

The war where two enemies stood side by side for the greater good.

The next time Troy visited the Aslan Tribe, he would see this grand plaza that Leone had named the "Plaza of the Brave".

That was also the day when the Darkmane Tribe declared the Aslan Tribe as their allies.

An alliance that would stand the test of time.

But for now, the young chieftain didn’t know that.

His only wish was to let his tribe grow and become a powerhouse that no one would dare to antagonize again.

Though there was also the issue of the war.

Before Leone left the Sandreaver Tribe, he told Malik that the Kingdom of Britannia was preparing for war.

They had no idea where the enemy’s blades would point, so he asked them to prepare just in case the kingdom decided to head south.

Leone also planned to send his Pteranodon Riders out to serve as messengers to the other tribes.

While he planned to protect Grimjaw Mountain and his territory, this was a war that he didn’t intend to fight alone.

He was now a Chieftain of the Borderlands. As such, the other chieftains must also lend him a hand if he were to act as the first line of defense against any invasion coming from the north.

’Still, the timing seems too perfect,’ Leone mused. ’Did they choose to attack now that the Borderlands had suffered a loss of manpower during the previous wars? I’d better ask my mother about it.’

And to do that, he needed to place the Forgotten Temple somewhere in his territory.

Since the temple could send them directly to the territory of the Helion Family at the Radiant Empire, he deemed that placing it in the city was not a good idea.

Instead, it should be placed somewhere safe.

Somewhere that only the members of the Aslan Tribe and the Ravage Tribe could enter.

And there was only one place in his domain that fit that condition.

The underground city deep within Grimjaw Mountain that the Aslanians and the Ravage Tribe had worked together to build.

The city that Leone had called Soleil City.

Despite being deep underground, it possessed an artificial sun that shone brightly above the city.

It was the perfect place to place the Forgotten Temple, which held a few more secrets that Leone would accidentally discover as time went by.
