I wanted a bit of clarification before we continued, "Ok, so just for confirmation so I’m not confused. We are friends that are getting married, because it will be beneficial to the both of us. For business and personal reasons.

Business because we have the same idea, but I have the power, you have the resources and connections. So, if we come together we can create something amazing.

For personal reasons it is because we are friends and we need someone that we can trust to be our partner in these chaotic times. Then if we can at some point, learn what love is.

Am I getting that right?"

"Yes."

"Cool, I know some people would be confused. So, I just wanted to get some clarification."

"That’s ok. But, we really need to move onto business."

"Right, I know that you have done your own information gathering about abilities. I’d like to go over the categories we came up with to see if there are any differences."

After checking our results they were pretty much the same, the only differences were some of the names we used. However, that came from a deeper understanding that I didn’t have.

I thought the abilities were the main thing awakened, but it is more of an augment or an enhancement.

Xue Qing told me about how some things had been changing for a while now. One of those things is that traditional martial arts have been producing more effects. For example making people stronger than before or doing more damage than originally thought possible.

I joked about how it was the resurgence of spiritual power or Qi.

She just said that it was something similar but different.

I kind of figured. Over the last few days while doing calculations I came to a disturbing conclusion. That was confirmed by the same conclusion Xue Qing came to.

The conclusion that we came to was that abilities were an advantage in a much bigger change. They were not the main point. The main point was that "cultivation" was now possible.

However, that was not in the traditional sense. At least not that way alone. "Cultivation" was possible in a multitude of different ways that was inextricably linked directly to culture.

Whether it was traditional cultivation, martial arts, magic, aura, or just about any fantastical method that exists in our culture.

Not only that but the appearance of monsters are linked to culture as well. Around the world the monsters that appeared in the regions were connected to the area’s culture.

The Federation had its cryptids and legends that were coming true, which also included real ghosts. From haunted houses to graveyards, after dark they were now the land of the dead and the realm of the deceased.

That was also the case for every other country in the world.

Yamato had Yokai sightings.

Albion had fantastical creatures.

Bharat had Bhuta and Keimi showing up.

Every country had some form of monsters showing up. All linked to their culture.

We also came to another conclusion. That country’s borders gained more meaning. Borders became the dividing line of where monsters were active.

Not only that but being a country’s leader gained meaning. For the EU of the few monarchical kingdoms all of the royalties without exception awoke powers.

All of these truths that were unveiled did nothing but bring another suffocating weight and place it on my shoulders.

Monsters had their own categories and classifications, but those would have to wait until we had more information.

We had a lot to do in a little amount of time.

The first thing we had to do was leave this unsecured area. So, I packed up my quantum computer, all of the used storage devices, and my drone.

We would be taking a private plane all the way to Xia. Given the connections Xue Qing had it wouldn’t be a problem to bring anything that could be considered contraband.

The route we would take would be through Albion and other EU countries. We would be having talks with the local governments to try and open locations for our business. Only a select few locations would have quantum computers installed, the rest would be satellite locations.

Our plan was to work with the local governments to share our information and get their cooperation with our business. The main objective is still to gather all of the information, but we can also control what information the government has access to and effectively control them.

It would be nice if everything goes the way we want and we can become the hidden puppet masters of the world, but I highly doubt that will be the case. Some people’s awakened abilities are super powerful, and there just isn’t a way for us to control that.

People with overwhelming power aren’t going to listen to us. Even if we lie or control the information, one wrong move and we die.

We can’t take the risk of provoking someone like that. We need to have a passive start.

So, we hop on the plane and fly to Albion. I contacted Michael Cavendish and arranged a meeting with the consortium’s upper echelons.

When we arrived in London, Albion we were escorted into a nice car and then driven to an undisclosed location.

Once there we were led down opulent hallways that spoke of a vast history of wealth. At the end of the hallway we were searched and had our electronic devices taken. Then we were led into a dark room that had a table with 7 older people sitting around it.

Xue Qing and I took our seat. Then the meeting started.

An aged voice started, "Hello, we are the heads of the highest noble families in Albion and I am the royal family’s representative. While the council is the one who rules the country, we effectively control the council.

Michael has facilitated this meeting and we have gathered on short notice. We understand that you have come with a proposition?"
