My Pervert Sytem

Chapter 136: The Spider’s Parlor

The damp decaying brickwork of the ancient aqueducts abruptly transitioned into polished black stone.

The air shifted from stagnant moisture to the heavy intoxicating scent of burning incense and expensive floral perfumes.

They had breached the outer perimeter of the underground market bypassing the chaotic auction halls completely.

Leon led the women down a narrow luxurious corridor lined with thick crimson velvet curtains.

The ambient lighting here was provided by glowing crystal orbs hovering gently near the ceiling.

They stopped in front of a pair of heavy ironwood doors etched with intricate defensive runes.

"This is the private sector," Beatrice whispered tracing the glowing magical lines with her pale fingers. "The locks are tied to a thermal grid. If we force it open it will trigger a massive elemental explosion."

"Can you freeze the internal mechanisms?" Seraphina asked keeping a watchful eye on the empty corridor.

The Ice Queen nodded her expression hardening into absolute professional focus. She placed both palms flat against the heavy ironwood.

A dense wave of frost mana aggressively poured from her core rapidly dropping the temperature of the wood until the glowing defensive runes violently shattered under the extreme thermal shock.

The heavy doors clicked softly swinging inward to reveal a breathtakingly opulent study.

The parlor was massive featuring towering bookshelves overflowing with ancient forbidden texts.

The floor was covered in plush exotic rugs and thick velvet chaise lounges were arranged around a low obsidian table.

Sitting gracefully on the most luxurious lounge was Lady Valeriana.

The eccentric information broker did not look surprised to see a heavily armed strike team kicking her door down.

She wore a highly scandalous silk dressing gown that left very little of her generous curves to the imagination.

She held her signature smoking pipe letting a thick cloud of sweet purple smoke drift toward the ceiling.

"I was wondering how long it would take you to find the back door Leon," Valeriana purred taking a slow elegant drag. Her dark mysterious eyes swept over the three beautiful women standing behind him. "And I see you brought your entire terrifying entourage with you. How delightfully scandalous."

Seraphina stepped forward her Grandmaster aura flaring violently.

The sudden oppressive pressure caused the crystal orbs in the room to flicker wildly.

"We are not here to play your twisted spy games Valeriana," the silver-haired warlord hissed gripping her blade. "The Emperor gave us a riddle. You have the black ledger. Hand it over or I will burn this parlor to the ground."

Valeriana chuckled softly entirely unbothered by the lethal threat.

"The Silver Lioness finally bares her fangs," the broker mocked resting her pipe on a crystal tray. "I do possess the ledger. It contains every single illegal transaction the Chamberlain ever made with the Eclipse Syndicate. It is the key to executing him."

"Then give it to us," Elara demanded hefting her heavy steel cleaver.

"Information of this magnitude is never free," Valeriana smiled leaning back against the velvet cushions. "The Syndicate is currently tearing the capital apart looking for the man who humiliated Lord Malakor. Handing that book over puts a massive permanent target on my back."

Leon smoothly bypassed the women walking confidently toward the center of the plush parlor.

The beautiful broker was playing hard to get utilizing the valuable intelligence to leverage a better position.

The digital bell chimed loudly projecting a bright pink text box right over the low obsidian table.

[System Notice: The Spider’s Web]

[The cunning spy believes she holds all the negotiating power. A true warlord strips a woman of her leverage using pure scandalous dominance.]

[Objective: Step around the table. Forcefully pin Valeriana back against the velvet cushions by placing a hand on either side of her head and offer to protect her from the Syndicate.]

[Reward: +20 Charisma, 650 Shameless Points.]

Leon did not hesitate for a fraction of a second.

He closed the distance in two long strides walking directly around the obsidian table.

Valeriana’s dark eyes widened slightly as the towering muscular brute invaded her personal sanctuary.

He leaned forward planting his large scarred hands firmly into the velvet cushions on either side of her head.

He aggressively caged her athletic body trapping her completely beneath his broad shoulders.

Seraphina gasped sharply in the background her violet eyes blazing with sudden furious jealousy.

Beatrice and Elara simply watched holding their breath as their master flawlessly escalated the tension.

Valeriana’s calm calculating facade violently shattered.

The sheer blistering heat radiating from his chest heavily seeped through her thin silk dressing gown. Her heart hammered erratically against her ribs.

"You do not need to fear the Syndicate Valeriana," Leon whispered darkly his magnetic voice vibrating heavily against her trembling lips. "I am very skilled at protecting Allies."

The powerful untouchable spy found herself completely paralyzed drowning in a chaotic overwhelming wave of breathless romantic submission.

[Objective Complete. Distributing Rewards.]

An explosive surge of raw magnetic charm flooded his features. Leon maintained the heavy unbroken eye contact refusing to let her look away.

"The ledger," Leon demanded softly.

Valeriana swallowed hard her delicate hands trembling as she reached blindly under the velvet cushions.

She pulled out a thick heavy book bound in dark cracked leather and slowly pressed it against his broad chest.

"Take it," she breathed weakly her voice lacking all its usual arrogant mockery.

Leon smoothly accepted the ancient book stepping back to grant her some desperately needed breathing room.

He tossed the heavy ledger toward Seraphina who caught it with flawless reflexes.

Before they could celebrate the massive political victory a sudden violent tremor violently shook the underground parlor.

The heavy stone ceiling groaned loudly dropping thick clouds of dust onto the plush rugs.

Valeriana sat up quickly her dark eyes wide with genuine horrifying terror.

"Lord Malakor did not just survive," the broker warned frantically gripping the edges of her silk gown. "He called a cleaner to handle his mess. A Tier Three Grandmaster of the Eclipse Syndicate just breached the upper market."

Leon narrowed his eyes feeling a terrifying suffocating wave of dark mana violently crashing down through the ceiling.
