"I think that... Rose should save her," Vivienne said finally, the words dragging out of her throat with immense difficulty.

Even though Vivienne spoke in a hushed, hesitant whisper from inside the shut car, Rose heard the decision with effortless ease.

With a small, satisfied smirk, Rose pushed herself off the hood of the Camry. She gave one final, exaggerated stretch of her slender frame, and in the next microsecond, she vanished from Vivienne’s vision entirely.

Vivienne’s eyes widened in sheer shock. She blinked involuntarily, and by the time her eyelids parted again, Rose was already standing directly in front of the blue-haired student.

Before Vivienne could even process the impossible speed, a synchronized series of sickening shlik sounds echoed across the street.

Every single zombie that had been paralyzed around them collapsed simultaneously to the asphalt, their heads severed cleanly from their necks in a fountain of dark, stagnant blood.

Vivienne choked, forcing down a sudden surge of sour bile.

She had known Rose was dangerously strong, but this was on a completely different scale.

When Rose had lashed out at her back in the cafeteria, that strike hadn’t been anywhere near her full power—it had been a casual, effortless twitch.

Unbothered by the horrified stares behind her, Rose locked her crimson gaze with the infected girl’s milky pupils.

The student looked young and fragile, the jagged bite mark on her exposed forearm standing out against her pale, greying skin.

"You are now my slave until you manage to regain your original memories," Rose stated plainly.

A heavy wave of unnatural mana began to ripple outwards from her vocal cords, vibrating the very air between them.

Inside the car, Fredrinn closed his eyes, extending his sensory perception to analyze the nature and structure of the spell Rose was casting.

The raw ambient mana drifting through Earth’s atmosphere was thin, diluted, and utterly terrible in quality.

Yet, when Rose channeled it, she didn’t use the raw environmental sludge directly.

Her internal mana felt heavily pressurized, compacted, and purified into an exceptionally dense form. A different league entirely.

It was as if ordinary Awakeners were desperately trying to inhale water vapor scattered in the air, while Rose possessed an internal engine that condensed and refined that vapor into pure, concentrated liquid.

It was a rough analogy, but that was fundamentally how it worked—her body acted as an innate purifier, operating on a level far above the crude techniques of human Awakeners.

Of course, she didn’t turn the mana into actual liquid.

’How the hell does she condense mana like that naturally? Is it an inherent racial trait of demons?’ Fredrinn mused silently, a dry sigh escaping him. ’I doubt anyone short of the Wizard Supreme back in Apolasia could compress raw mana so seamlessly. And I never even got around to mastering that old geezer’s grimoires before jumping back to the home portal. Who would’ve guessed Earth would turn into a post-apocalyptic shithole the second I returned?’

He grimaced internally. ’I bet that old bastard is sitting on his golden throne right now, laughing his ass off at my misery like the lazy bum he is.’

A familiar, translucent chime echoed directly into his auditory nerves.

[ <LUST> confirms that the host’s assumption is entirely correct. The Wizard Supreme of world Apolasia is indeed thoroughly enjoying the spectacle of host’s daily struggles. He also wonders why you’re so bad at the romance sector. He’s doubting his teachings now. ]

’Right... there’s this cheeky bastard too,’ Fredrinn thought, rolling his eyes. ’I almost managed to forget you were lurking in my head, Lust.’

[ <LUST> feels deeply offended! How dare host forget about its most loyal, indispensable partner? ]

[ <LUST> has generated a new quest. ]

[ Quest Name: Two’s Better Than One ]

[ Requirement: Acquire another Voluntary Thrall. (Heavy emphasis on the word Voluntary.) The target must willingly agree to sleep with you despite being fully aware that you already possess an active romantic partner. ]

[ Time Limit: 1 Hour. ]

[ Reward: 4,000 Lust Points (LP) ]

[ <LUST> notes that host should have no trouble remembering its existence now. Best of luck, host! ]

Fredrinn stared at the glowing prompt, his eyes widening slightly before he swallowed hard.

Four thousand LP. In a single payout.

To evolve his skill, Seed Leech, to the next level, he needed a staggering total of 5,000 LP.

After thoroughly indulging with Rose earlier and gathering the scattered residual points, his balance currently hovered at exactly 905 LP.

This single reward would instantly bridge the gap and allow him to trigger the upgrade.

He originally thought he would need to take his time, make lots of love to Rose to be able to collect so many points but now there was a better option available.

Then, his focus drifted to the bright red countdown timer ticking down in the corner of his vision.

59:48... 59:47...

Lust had certainly made the payout irresistible, but the ticking clock made the execution brutally tight.

There was zero chance he could sprint back to the grocery storage shelter to approach Andrea, who was the most physically accessible and compliant option outside of Rose.

That left him with exactly two viable candidates within physical reach.

Jenny and Vivienne.

Fredrinn’s eyes flickered toward the front seat, his gaze instinctively drifting over the massive, soft swell of Vivienne’s chest.

The way her full figure strained against her dress was undeniably tempting, radiating an allure that made his instincts flare.

But he forced himself to rein in the wandering thought.

Vivienne was still traumatized, morally conflicted, and barely processing the reality of monsters—convincing a proper schoolteacher to voluntarily hop into bed with him within sixty minutes while knowing he was tied to a demon was a statistical nightmare.

He shifted his focus to his right.

Jenny was sitting beside him, her sharp gaze fixed intently on Rose through the front window, her posture tight and watchful.

Feeling the heavy, deliberate weight of his stare, Jenny turned her head, meeting his eyes head-on.

"Huh?" She whispered.
