A golden light suddenly crashed down upon the Dryad Forest, falling from the sky like a meteor.

The impact was not particularly strong. The ground only briefly trembled before recovering.

Soon, the light split into two.

One remained upright, revealing itself to be a handsome young man.

The other...

"Blurgh!" TheoryMaster69 nearly vomited.

Her body collapsed to the ground, weak.

Even with her newly increased strength, she found herself unable to regain her footing.

After suppressing the urge to throw up, TheoryMaster69 struggled to raise her head and glared at Aurelius.

"You...!" she almost erupted.

It was no wonder her intuition had previously warned her of danger!

Who could have expected Aurelius’ method of transportation to be so violent?

How could he have thought that this was appropriate?

Recalling how she had soared through the sky and flown like a bird, achieving the dream of most humans, TheoryMaster69 did not feel happy at all.

If anything, she was even more furious.

Aurelius faced her accusing gaze and subconsciously rubbed his cheeks.

He felt that he was being blamed for no reason. He was innocent.

How could he have known that TheoryMaster69 was afraid of heights?

Everything she had shown previously had made her seem perfect, whether in terms of character or abilities.

Aurelius had never expected her to be afraid of flying. Even if she had, shouldn’t such a fear have been lost when she became an Awakener?

This...

Glancing at TheoryMaster69, who looked ready to die, Aurelius wondered whether he should tell her about the abilities of high-Ranked Awakeners.

After all, even he, at Rank 2, could soar through the sky and float in the air.

Higher-level Awakeners could do the same better and for longer.

According to his knowledge, most of their battles took place in the air, whether to protect ordinary people or to unleash their full strength.

Imagining the scene of TheoryMaster69 flying through the air and clashing with her opponents, only to suddenly turn around and throw up, Aurelius nearly burst into laughter.

This scene... was truly shocking.

Fortunately, he was wise enough not to let TheoryMaster69 know what he was thinking.

In her current state, it was highly likely that it would drive her into a mental breakdown.

Aurelius chose to remain silent, giving her some time to recover. Thankfully, TheoryMaster69 had already become an Awakener.

Although she was shaken, it did not take her long to recover.

Minutes later, she was already standing upright.

"Alright. Let’s go." Aurelius said upon noticing this, pretending that nothing had happened.

Without any hesitation, he led the female Player deeper into the forest, cutting through the surrounding plants with a casual wave of his hand.

TheoryMaster69 followed behind him, observing her surroundings with curiosity.

When he had first come to the Dryad Forest, Aurelius had to be extremely cautious, despite being accompanied by a team of guards.

He could still remember the sneak attack of the Red Hare Rabbit that day. It had also been his first real kill in this world.

Not much time had passed since then. Yet things were now entirely different.

Aurelius walked calmly without facing any obstacles.

The vegetation was cut apart, while the monsters immediately rushed in the opposite direction the moment they sensed his aura.

No one dared to stop him.

Aurelius sighed.

He knew that with his current strength, it should be easy to reach the depths of the Dryad Forest and perhaps even fight the strongest monsters inside.

However, he had no such intention for the time being.

After briefly glancing at TheoryMaster69, he adjusted his route accordingly.

--

With Aurelius’ perception, it didn’t take long for him to find a monster suitable for TheoryMaster69 to test her skills on.

Before long, he stepped aside, leaving room for her to act.

In the meantime, two creatures were confronting each other a few dozen feet away.

A woman with crimson hair. A tiny black bear.

Two interfaces hovered above their heads when Aurelius focused on them.

[TheoryMaster69––Sun Knight Level 2]

[Black Bear Monster––Level 1]

TheoryMaster69 had used her remaining EXP to upgrade her Class to Level 2.

Meanwhile, the monster she was facing was a juvenile bear that had only just entered its growth period.

Given that monsters were usually stronger than humans of the same level, this bear appeared to be a suitable opponent for TheoryMaster69.

The two creatures did not know that someone was analyzing them.

Caught in a battle of momentum, they faced each other, waiting for one of them to show an opening that could be exploited.

Perhaps because of her lack of experience, TheoryMaster69 was the first to make a mistake.

The black bear reacted instantly.

It let out a roar as it charged toward her at full speed, slamming its claws toward her shoulder.

Although it was a juvenile, its strength far surpassed that of an ordinary human. TheoryMaster69 would be seriously injured if she took this attack head-on.

And so, she didn’t.

Her previous gaffe appeared to have been a feint, as she quickly recovered and reacted just in time.

A victorious smile emerged on her face.

Holding the sword she had borrowed from Aurelius, she cast Solar Manifestation, covering its surface with a layer of sacred flames.

At the same time, Weapon Infusion was activated. Her Mana continuously poured into the sword, enhancing the sharpness of its edge.

Then...

TheoryMaster69 slashed with all her strength!

Scrrk!

The sound of flesh being torn apart echoed, followed by the shattering of the bones beneath it.

Before TheoryMaster69 could retract her sword, the black bear had already collapsed to the ground.

Smoke rose from its lifeless body, sending the smell of burning flesh through the surroundings.

[Killed a Level 1 Black Bear. EXP +20]

The notification confirmed it.

She had done it!

Using a feigned weakness to bait her opponent, she had outsmarted it, emerging victorious in her very first fight!

Yet despite the victory and the increased EXP, TheoryMaster69 felt no relief.

Looking at the blood and flesh scattered everywhere, and recalling the sensation of tearing another living being apart, TheoryMaster69 could no longer hold on.

"Blurgh!"

She immediately threw up.
