"An Awakener has to kill their opponent in the most efficient and clean way possible. Exhausting your Mana will only put you at risk of death. Once, twice, it’s fine. But sooner or later, you’ll suffer the consequences of your carelessness."
As he said this, Aurelius examined TheoryMaster69.
After activating several skills at once, her Mana had almost completely dried up. She wouldn’t even be able to fight an ordinary person.
He shook his head and tossed her a Mana-Recovering Potion.
Then, instead of taking her back to Blood Sun City, he let her follow him on their journey.

With Aurelius guiding the way, it was not difficult for TheoryMaster69 to find suitable opponents to practice her skills on.
By digesting the advice he gave her after each fight, TheoryMaster69’s combat ability improved rapidly.
Likewise, her EXP rose at a slow but steady pace. Everything proceeded smoothly.

A powerful light erupted near the depths of the Dryad Forest. It spread for dozens of feet, engulfing the area in a sea of white.
For a moment, it seemed as though the sun had descended into the monster habitat.

TheoryMaster69 stared blankly at the scene before her, her mouth open.
Aurelius stood alone in front of the skeleton of a massive serpent, whose skin and flesh had long since melted away.

It was not the first time she had seen Aurelius take action.

He might have stayed if he had been alone. But with TheoryMaster69 with him, there was no reason to take any unnecessary risks.
With that thought, Aurelius turned toward TheoryMaster69. He ignored the excitement and expectation in her eyes.
"Okay. It’s time to leave."
These words gave TheoryMaster69 a bad feeling.
She soon understood why.
Upon seeing the wings of flame being woven behind his back, she nearly burst into tears.

The residents had long since fallen asleep, while the troublesome Players had logged off to deal with their daily lives.
Recalling TheoryMaster69’s excited face before they parted, Aurelius smiled faintly.
He knew that by tomorrow morning, a great surprise would await him.
The words "have to edit the cinematic" were still fresh in his mind.
Until then, he wasn’t prepared to waste his time.
Finding a dark alleyway to change his attire, he placed a silver mask over his face and followed the route in his memories.
Soon, he found himself in front of a familiar, run-down building.
Stepping inside, Aurelius remained alert, waiting for the expected sneak attack to arrive.
Yet although his gaze swept through the surroundings, searching for the familiar figure, he failed to locate anyone.
It was only after several seconds, when the light of the moon passed through the window and fell into the room, that something finally changed.
A figure materialized, as though walking out of a silver veil.
With long black hair and a few strands of silver hair near her forehead, she looked beautiful and otherworldly.
But what made Aurelius raise his eyebrows was not her appearance, but the lack of a sneak attack.
What happened? Could it be that this woman had finally gained some conscience?
But that thought was thrown away as soon as she opened her mouth.
"It seems that you need my assistance again."
She clicked her tongue.
"I truly don’t know what you would do if it weren’t for me. Come on," she said as she found a seat and sat down.
"Tell me. What do you need from me? I will help you one more time."
