Max walked down the hallway, deep in his own thoughts. Suddenly, someone stepped up to walk beside him. Turning to see who it was, he realized it was the curly-haired girl he had healed yesterday.

"Hello, Young Master," she said without looking at him.

"Hello, Ms. Alicia. How are you feeling today? Do you feel the old symptoms returning?" Max asked. Looking at the side of her face, he did not notice any yellow tone on her skin now.

"Young Master, just call me Alicia. And no, the old symptoms are completely gone; I feel very good," she replied.

"That is good to hear, Alicia. If you feel any discomfort or if the symptoms return, let me know. And one more thing, don't forget to vote for me," Max said as they entered the combined classroom.

All the Healer students were already present in the room. As usual, he received a lot of gazes, but today, those looks were entirely different from previous days. Some students nodded their heads at him, while others took the initiative to offer greetings. For Max, this was a completely new experience.

In the general knowledge of the public, whenever they talked about Healing, they always considered basic Healing magican ability that every Healer class possessed.

However, this basic Healing magic was only useful for the most fundamental needs. Once a condition went beyond simple surface wounds or a headache, this basic Healing magic would no longer be very effective.

As far as Max knew from his reading, the fundamentals of Healing Magic changed at every stage. Currently, however, he only utilized his Skill like general basic Healing Magic. "Suppose a patient has suffered severe internal bleeding. What should you do first?" she asked the whole class.

A few bright students raised their hands, as they had already learned about it. The old lady pointed at one of the girls sitting in the front row.

"Stabilize the patient before repairing the damage," the girl answered.

"That is the correct answer. Next, suppose the patient has a damaged organ."

Again, several hands were raised. She selected someone from the left side of the seating arrangement.

"Repair the organ after stabilizing the surrounding tissues," the girl replied.

"Correct again. Now, suppose the body is suffering from something that is actively causing damage," the old lady asked.

To her question, the class remained quiet; not a single hand was raised. However, Arthur did not understand the silence from the students. If these girls had read the details regarding the previous questions and answers, they would have naturally read the answer for this question as well. After all, he had read the exact same question and answer.

Arthur raised his hand since he knew the answer. Seeing his raised hand, everyone's eyes turned toward him. The old lady also saw Arthur and nodded her head, signaling for him to answer the question.

"Identify the cause of the damage first and immediately heal the damage," Arthur recited the steps he had read from the book.

"That is where inexperienced Healers make mistakes," the old lady said after hearing the answer.

"But it is incomplete. More importantly, if you follow that principle blindly, you may kill your patient," she stated.

"Kill the patient?" Max's expression changed slightly.

"What happens when the thing causing the damage is inside the patient's body, and your Healing Skill immediately begins restoring the damaged tissue?" the teacher asked.

Sending her Mana into the object, the crystal lit up brightly. She then quickly called a student from the front row to demonstrate how to use the crystal. The old lady directly placed the brightly lit crystal in front of the student's Mana core, which was located at the abdomen.

A few students raised their hands. The old lady scanned the crowd and selected one girl from the second row.

"It could be accumulated poison," the girl answered.

"Good. Are there any other possibilities?" the teacher asked.

"It could be damaged tissue," another girl replied.

"Correct. Anything else?" the teacher asked, expecting more types of issues that it could be.

Following this, a girl sitting near the window raised her hand.

"It could be a parasite."

"Correct again." The teacher smiled faintly. "Very good speculations. Therefore, you should all consider every possibility before coming to a conclusion and starting your healing."

Hearing this, everyone nodded their heads.

"Diagnosis is very difficult. Even an experienced Healer like myself can struggle to identify the issue," the teacher explained. "But do not worry. Through experience, you will learn about all sorts of issues. Thus, when you go out into the world, you will have an easy way to narrow down the problem. However, you must remember one thing: a single abnormality can have multiple causes. If you misidentify the cause, applying the wrong treatment can turn a recoverable patient into a corpse. You must remember this until your grave," she warned.

Suddenly, one of the male Healer students raised his hand. "Teacher, do we need a Diagnostic Crystal every time we treat someone?" he asked.

"No, the Diagnostic Crystal is for beginner Healers and academic students. Eventually, you will all have to learn a technique called 'Mana Perception,' which we will cover when I teach Advanced Healing. For now, however, you will use this method to practice," the teacher replied.
