Seeing the katana approaching her with such speed, Silver kicked off the ground and launched herself into the air.
The sword sliced through the empty space where she had occupied a moment ago.

Landing smoothly atop a building, Silver gazed down at the humans.
Then her eyes shifted toward the drones hovering around the battlefield.

The building beneath her feet crumbled as Silver shot through the air like a bullet.
Ray immediately lunged forward to meet her.
Below them, earth platforms began rising from the ground one after another.
Ray jumped from one to the next, rapidly gaining altitude.

Gas burst from his boots.
He shot higher into the air as his daggers began materializing in his hands.
But they weren’t equipping fast enough.

Twenty earth arrows whistled through the air, rocketing toward her.
A smirk crossed Silver’s face.
She vanished.
The arrows crashed into the space she had occupied a moment earlier.

She reappeared in another location.
But she barely had time to settle before another Aspirant charged toward her.
The earth swirled around his hands.
He hurled it forward.
The mass of earth sharpened into a spear as it tore through the air.
Silver glanced at it.
Disdain filled her eyes.
With barely any effort, she swung her claw.

The earth spear was sliced apart.

Energy shells suddenly fired toward her from the artillery vehicles.
Silver lifted one foot.
Then—
She slammed it into the ground.

The earth exploded outward.
A massive wave of dirt and debris surged upward, intercepting the incoming shells.
The explosions tore through the debris, filling the air with a storm of dust and shattered earth.
"Ahhhhh—!"
A loud battle cry suddenly rang out from above.
Silver’s head snapped upward.
Her golden eyes widened slightly.
Ray was descending from the sky.
His daggers were firmly in his hands.
Lightning crawled violently across their crimson and obsidian blades.
She simply took a step backward, allowing the boy to crash into the ground and kick up a cloud of dust and debris.
His daggers sliced into the earth, carving deep grooves through the ground as he landed.
Before Ray could recover, Silver flickered forward.
Her foot shot toward his ribs with terrifying speed.

Ray activated the skill in the nick of time.
BOOOM!
The boy lunged backward in a straight line, propelled by lightning.
Silver’s leg tore through the space where his ribs had been a moment ago.
Ray landed.
The instant his feet touched the ground—

His dagger lashed toward Silver from the side.
She ducked.
The blade sliced harmlessly through the air above her head.

Silver was already preparing to counter.

Lincoln appeared directly beside her.
With a wave of his hands, a massive boulder of earth burst upward.

It crashed directly into Silver’s head, flinging it backward several inches.
Ray didn’t waste the opening.
His skill changed.

A swirling orb of light materialized within his hands.
He drove it firmly into Silver’s abdomen.

The explosion erupted at point-blank range.
Silver’s body was blasted backward like a broken doll.

Unstoppable.
Her silver body became nothing more than a flash as she shot toward him with singular focus.
There was only one target.
Ray.
His eyes widened.
He didn’t have the time.
He didn’t have the chance.
Silver’s claws seized him out of midair.
Then—
BOOOOM!
She slammed him into the ground with bone-rattling force.
The earth split apart beneath him like a sea being torn open.
