Chapter 447

The earth split apart like a raging sea as Ray’s body slammed into it.

[-10 HP]

[HP: 190/200]

A cloud of dust erupted into the air.

Ray’s body trembled from the force of the impact.

His bones creaked and vibrated violently beneath the strain.

Luckily, his Endurance stat was high enough to prevent his body from being reduced to a bloody paste.

Before he could even recover, he was lifted off the ground again with tremendous force, the motion dispersing the dust around him.

He was about to be slammed into the earth once more when an earth spear came hurtling forward with blistering speed.

Silver was about to ignore it—

Until an arrow from Chloe followed closely behind.

Knowing the arrows could explode on impact, Silver immediately released Ray and leaped backward, crossing several metres in a blink before crashing through a building.

The arrow and spear struck the earth, kicking up another cloud of dust.

Ray emerged from the other side of the building moments later.

He landed on his knees, panting heavily as he glared in Silver’s direction.

Grinding his teeth, he slammed his hands into the ground.

[Rail Dash]

Without hesitation, the boy bolted forward in a straight line.

Sparks of lightning crackled from his body, striking the ground with every step.

[Daigeto: This kid is quite strong, for real. And his ability is unique. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a lightning ability before, have I?]

[Proud Hater: Yeah, yeah. He has a lightning ability, so what?]

BAM!

Ray’s fist smashed into the ground.

Silver had already flickered out of view.

His fist cratered the earth, sending another plume of dust into the air.

Silver appeared directly behind him.

Her leg shot toward his back, carrying enough force to smash him into the dirt.

CLAP!

Felix struck his palms together.

In a split second, Ray vanished from view.

In his place, the werewolf appeared.

His hands were fully transformed into claws as he thrust them forward to meet Silver’s foot head-on.

BAM!

’Fuck! I miscalculated.’

Felix’s bones creaked.

Several of them splintered beneath the force of the impact, his arms being driven violently into the earth.

Silver didn’t slow down.

Her second foot rocketed toward the werewolf’s head, ready to tear it off.

An earth dome instantly formed around Felix.

WAM!

BOOM!

The dome trembled violently for a second before shattering into chunks of rubble.

[Lightning Spear Activated]

Ray leaped into the air, rising almost high enough to touch the annoying drones hovering above the battlefield.

In his hand, arcs of lightning rushed up and down his arm.

They gathered.

Condensed.

Until they formed a thick projectile nearly as long and wide as a human arm.

BANG!

Ray hurled the spear forward.

It tore through the air with devastating speed, moving so violently that even the sound barrier seemed to shudder in its wake.

Silver spun around.

She swung her claws forward to meet the projectile without even flinching.

The instant her claw collided with the spear—

BZZZZT!

JOLTS OF ELECTRICITY exploded across her entire body.

Lightning crawled over her silver chitin, illuminating her entire frame for a brief moment.

Silver froze.

She was stunned.

Half a second.

That was all it took for Silver to be locked in place by the spear she had already deflected, sending the weapon flying through the air.

Appearing before her with the help of her VMS boots was Trisha.

Her katana flashed in front of Silver’s face, speeding toward her neck.

Silver’s golden eyes tracked the weapon while she remained frozen in place for that brief half-second.

Her claws twitched, desperately trying to move.

But they weren’t fast enough.

CLANG!

The katana slammed into her neck with a thunderous impact.

The silver armour protecting her body held firm, resisting the blade for a moment.

But Trisha refused to stop.

Though she was already running dangerously low on MF, she pushed forward and slammed her palm into Silver’s abdomen.

Frost immediately bloomed across the Abberant’s body, spreading like a virus through her silver armour.

Finally—

Silver could move again.

Her fist shot forward like a battering ram, rocketing toward Trisha’s body.

It was too fast for the girl to dodge.

But she didn’t need to.

A golden lasso suddenly wrapped around her waist.

With a firm but gentle pull, Trisha was yanked backward at lightning speed.

The fist crashed into empty air.

BOOOM!

The impact detonated with tremendous force.

Meanwhile, the ice crawling across Silver’s body continued spreading.

Until—

CRACK!

Silver smashed both hands against the ice.

The frozen layer shattered instantly, raining fragments across the ground without causing so much as a scratch to her body.

Silver lifted her head.

Kai was already before her.

A massive crystal club swung toward her head.

’How are these kids so fast?’

She was about to sidestep the attack.

But Kai suddenly whirled his hands around.

The club changed direction, descending toward her.

BAM!

It smashed directly into her shoulder before shattering into countless crystal fragments.

’How—?!’

A golden lasso wrapped around Kai’s waist.

With a sharp pull, he was dragged out of the way in the nick of time—

Even before Silver herself could send her tail shooting through the air.

Silver lifted her head.

Her piercing gaze locked onto the distance.

There stood Ray.

The boy was twirling the golden lasso in his grasp, his expression stoic despite the fury burning within his eyes.

BANG!

Ray blurred forward.

The lasso continued twirling behind him as he crossed the distance.

"Oh! Seems like you can read my actions, huh? Impressive."

Ray materialized before her.

Lightning arced violently around his hands.

"Just shut up and die."

He thrust both hands forward.

A concentrated strike of lightning tore toward the Abberant.

Alas!

Silver slammed her foot into the ground.

Chunks of earth shattered apart and rose into the air, forming a barrier between them.

The lightning smashed into the earthen wall.

CRACK!

The wall began breaking apart.

But before Silver could react—

Ray tugged on the golden lasso.

A figure came flying forward with blistering speed.

Cutting through the air and smashing through the chunks of earth was Sergeant Lincoln.

Earth surged around his hands, forming rocky gauntlets that extended from his shoulders all the way to his fingers.

With the earthen wall no longer in its path, the lightning strike was about to slam directly into Silver.

She simply took half a step to the side.

The attack tore past her and crashed into the ground.

But Lincoln’s trajectory had already been altered by the lasso.

He was now directly in front of the Abberant.

His fist rocketed toward her face.

Silver stared at the incoming fist with an unreadable expression.

Then, with an almost bored movement, she lifted one arm.

BAM!

The punch hammered into her guard with the force of a bus.

The ground cracked beneath her feet as Silver anchored herself with the help of her tail.
