Only I Can Use Every Power System

Chapter 9: Cha.9 First Mission (3)

"But first... I need to make sure this woman dies."

The hooded man slowly raised his knife.

Ready to strike.

But suddenly, he felt something moving behind him.

The moment he turned around, a powerful punch slammed into his face, sending him flying.

It was Qasim.

Using Wind Boost, Qasim had accelerated his movement and launched himself at the enemy.

The boy didn’t waste a second.

He charged again and, using the same acceleration, drove another punch straight into the hooded man’s stomach.

"What is going on?"

"Shouldn’t he be paralyzed right now?"

"Was he faking it?"

The hooded man remained confused for several seconds as Qasim continued landing blows.

Finally, he adjusted his stance, blocked Qasim’s next punch, and struck the boy with all his strength.

"His body is incredibly tough."

"His punches lack experience, but they’re filled with overwhelming physical strength."

"His defense is full of openings..."

"But even hitting him makes my hand shake."

The hooded man threw another barrage of knives.

Almost every single one struck Qasim.

Yet...

The boy showed no sign of collapsing.

Instead, he kept pushing forward.

Qasim’s lack of combat experience was almost completely overshadowed by his monstrous physical abilities.

The hooded man was already beginning to tire.

Left punch.

Right punch.

Uppercut.

Kick.

The hooded man’s nose had already been broken by Qasim’s very first punch.

Blood poured down his face, blurring his vision.

"I can’t see clearly..."

"My stamina is running out."

"Close combat is the worst nightmare for a scientist like me."

"And even worse..."

"I’m running out of knives."

"This boy..."

"This boy’s stamina..."

"He’s pushing me to my limits."

"Such a young boy is doing all this to me..."

"It’s just..."

"It’s just..."

Qasim landed another punch.

Although he had never fought anyone in his life, his body moved on pure instinct.

Every muscle seemed to know exactly what to do.

Every cell in his body screamed for more.

And...

It felt amazing.

"I really am the main character of this world!"

He threw another punch directly into the hooded man’s face, knocking him backward once more.

This time...

Qasim finally saw the man’s face.

"This boy is just..."

Qasim suddenly felt something terribly wrong.

Something dangerous.

Coming from the man’s aura.

"Ahh... this is just..."

"Too much fun for me~"

Disgust filled Qasim’s face.

The man’s twisted smile was enough to make his stomach turn.

His black eyes stared at the boy with a horrifying hint of pleasure.

A red blush spread across his pale face every time Qasim hit him.

Then...

The man pulled out a strange container filled with purple liquid and drank it.

"Ahh... my little boy..."

"This has been so much fun."

"So let me give you a reward."

"Let’s have even more fun now, okay~?"

Suddenly...

Something started moving beneath the man’s skin.

It slowly turned purple.

His eyes became completely black.

His muscles expanded.

His entire body grew larger.

Qasim immediately felt the difference.

Without hesitation, he grabbed Levia, intending to run.

He already knew...

He couldn’t win anymore.

But in the blink of an eye...

The man—who now looked more like a monster than a human—appeared beside him.

"Nooo, my boy..."

"We’re staying here~"

He kicked Qasim violently in the stomach, sending him flying.

Before the boy could even stand back up, the monster slashed him across the chest with claw-like fingers, tearing open several bloody wounds.

Of course...

Qasim tried fighting back.

But now he was completely outmatched.

The monster was faster.

Stronger.

More experienced.

The white of Qasim’s eyes slowly turned bloodshot.

Blood covered his body like sweat.

While he lay on the ground, the monster stomped on his hand, crushing it beneath his foot.

The pain was far greater than Qasim had imagined.

Another kick.

His body flew toward the pink lake.

The monster grabbed him by the throat and lifted him into the air.

"Now this..."

"This is more like it."

"You’re strong, boy."

"But just imagine how much stronger you’ll become once you drink from this lake."

"Don’t worry."

"Simply drinking from it won’t turn you into one of those mindless monsters."

"So..."

"Shall we begin?"

The monster forced Qasim beneath the lake’s surface.

No air.

No room to move.

At that moment...

Qasim experienced the most primal emotion of all.

Pure fear.

Seeing the boy desperately struggle for air, the monster briefly pulled him back out.

"Just accept your fate."

Then he shoved him beneath the water again.

This time...

Even deeper.

Qasim’s vision blurred.

His consciousness slowly faded.

"So..."

"This is how I die."

"Wasn’t I supposed to be the main character of this world?"

"Maybe..."

"Maybe those were just childish dreams from a boy with cancer..."

"I miss my father..."

"I miss my little brother..."

"I’m scared of the dark..."

"I don’t like the dark..."

Despite his thoughts...

The darkness...

And the cold...

Slowly consumed his vision.

"Yesss~ Just like that."

"Feel the greatness of our inventi—"

Suddenly...

The monster’s arm was severed cleanly.

Qasim fell into the shallow water.

He gasped desperately.

He was weak.

But...He was alive.

The monster’s eyes widened as he turned toward the direction the slash had come from.

"Tell me."

"Are both of them still alive?"

"Hard to tell from here...But I can still feel their life energy burning."

"That’s good enough."

Two figures slowly emerged from the forest.

A giant bald man carrying the corpse of a massive bear.

And beside him...

A young woman with cold eyes, quietly holding her dagger.

Doran spoke with a voice filled with fury.

"Hey..."

"You piece of shit... you really fucked up."
