“Is that so…” Rosha murmured without giving a firm answer.

He already knew Qin Xian definitely harbored secrets—perhaps even earth-shattering ones. But he didn’t mind. After all, everyone had their secrets. Even he, Rosha, had plenty of secrets, many of which not even his fiancée Audrey knew.

As long as Qin Xian could fight the Void, that was enough.

Rosha understood that no one was truly flawless or purely righteous. Take the Saint-Spear Family for example—arrogant, domineering, and guilty of countless massacres. Their behavior was textbook villainy, yet he still needed their support in the fight against the Void.

If Rosha clung to some moral high ground, then there wouldn’t be much strength left in the world to resist the Void at all. Hydra would’ve been destroyed long ago.

Rosha furrowed his brow. “From my personal interactions with him… I didn’t sense anything like that.”

He carefully recalled his moments with Qin Xian. In every way, the man had appeared perfect. But Rosha still trusted Elia’s intuition deeply—because Elia wasn’t just any ordinary girl. Her true identity was the incarnation of Hydra’s world origin. In essence, she was the world itself.

Rosha had met her by chance years ago during a great crisis that threatened all of Hydra. To resolve it, Rosha and his companions had ventured into deadly danger. It was during that journey that he met Elia, at the time just a seemingly normal girl.

Together they faced many trials, and in the end, Rosha had been willing to sacrifice himself to save the world.

It was then that Elia revealed her true nature. She accepted Rosha completely and entered a soul pact with him. Ever since, Rosha had been able to access her power—becoming the Hero of Hydra.

So even if he had a good impression of Qin Xian, Rosha could not ignore Elia’s concerns. After all, she wasn’t just anyone—she was the divine core of their world.

After a long moment of thought, Rosha said in a low voice, “I’ll keep an eye on this Soren. If he truly has ill intentions… I’ll act.”

Though, in truth, Rosha didn’t believe Qin Xian had anything to do with the Void. His class was simply too misleading. Holy Light and Void were natural opposites.

A Holy Light Knight would be a sworn enemy of the Void—how could they be allies?

Still, he would investigate, just in case.

Elia, seeing Rosha’s cautious stance, knew that this was the most she could expect. Even she hadn’t found any solid evidence, and it would be too much to ask Rosha to take drastic action based on a feeling. Even Elia herself had started to doubt her instincts.

Meanwhile, Qin Xian had returned to his newly granted estate along with Lia. It was a vast mansion, more like a private palace than a simple residence. Everything was prepared in advance—even the servants.

Qin Xian wasn’t naïve. He knew some of these attendants might be spies. But he didn’t care. He was just a visitor here. Now that he had confirmed Elia as the world origin’s incarnation, everything became simpler.

Still, Rosha’s power was formidable. And this city was Hydra’s very heart—countless experts resided here, most of them at the 9-star level. Even with his own strength, Qin Xian couldn’t take on the entire world of Hydra without using his Void powers.

Rosha alone, empowered by the world itself, made it impossible to simply abduct Elia under his nose.

This would take time.

Qin Xian narrowed his eyes, and a new plan began to take shape in his mind.

Though he was just visiting Hydra, he had already seen that the world was far from united. Tensions simmered between the major races.

The dwarves and elves had age-old grudges. Even the human nations, despite appearing cooperative under Hydra’s banner, were filled with ambition. Several foreign kings had already approached him with veiled invitations to visit their realms.

Over the past two centuries, the Capet Empire had taken the lead in resisting the Void. But in doing so, they had stepped on many toes.

The imperial army now commanded most of the other nations’ forces. Resources were first allocated to Capet, and though everyone played along under the banner of unity, resentment brewed beneath the surface.

In Qin Xian’s view, Hydra was a powder keg—just waiting for a spark.
