“Looks like the Void’s main force is starting to get drawn in,” Rosha said solemnly, his gaze sharp as he scanned the battlefield.

“Indeed…” Emperor Caesar nodded beside him, his expression dark as he watched the tide of Void creatures continuously hurl themselves at the allied forces.

Even small scouting groups of a few hundred brought noticeable casualties. What was most terrifying was that these monsters knew no fear—they fought until the last of their number was slain, never retreating.

Despite the horror, Caesar had to admit the truth: Void creatures were, in a sense, the perfect army.

Suddenly, several terrifying figures emerged from the front lines of the allied army—Void Commanders, and leading them was a towering Flame Demon. Behind him followed a legion of snarling, screeching abominations.

The expressions of the Hydra coalition leaders changed slightly. They had only been in the Old World for a few hours and were already facing a major contingent of the Void army. The Flame Demon in particular was powerful—about peak 7-star level, a high-ranking Void Commander.

“Humans? Elves?” the Flame Demon sneered. “Didn’t expect you maggots to come deliver yourselves!”

Even with three million soldiers and a gathering of Hydra’s top elites, the Flame Demon was utterly fearless. In the eyes of the Void, bloodlines determined worth. To them, all living beings in Hydra had inferior, lowly blood.

Even the strongest among them were just glorified beasts. Only the exalted Void Lords and the Supreme Overlords deserved reverence.

The Demon’s arrogance infuriated everyone—but it enraged the dwarves most of all. The Flame Demon hadn’t even acknowledged their existence, and to a dwarf, that was an insult beyond measure.

“You’ll pay for that, scum!” roared a dwarf noble, one of the lords of Ironridge named Dain. Known for his explosive temper and iron will, Dain leapt from the airship, gripping his famed weapon, Blackthorn’s Wrath. He charged straight at the Flame Demon.

The Demon, amused, lashed out with a whip of molten flame, heat so intense it could melt even a star core.

Dain screamed as both arms were scorched, unable to hold onto his hammer. In the next instant, countless fiery hands erupted from the ground, dragging Dain screaming into a rift in the earth.

The coalition’s expressions turned grim. Dain might have been rough and brutal, but his strength was undeniable. He had personally slain many Void Commanders in the past. Now he had been killed in seconds.

“It’s the Void…” Rosha muttered. “The Old World has been corrupted. Void monsters are stronger here, while we… we can’t unleash our full strength.”

Everyone nodded grimly.

“Pathetic!” the Flame Demon laughed, goading them further. He was confident—even if things turned bad, he could slip into the molten rifts and escape. He knew that with each Hydra warrior he killed, his strength would grow. He was only a step away from becoming a Void Lord.

Then, Qin Xian chuckled lightly.

In the next instant, he appeared above the Flame Demon. His holy sword gleamed with blinding light. In that moment, he wasn’t a man—he was a god.

He grew taller, becoming a radiant giant, and thrust his sword into the earth. The land itself lit up with sacred runes, extending for miles in every direction.

[Judgment Sermon] Lv.5 (Divine Skill): Plunge your holy sword into the ground, creating a domain within a 70-kilometer radius.

Deals 1.4 million Holy damage to all targets. Against Undead, Demonic, and Void-type enemies, deals an additional 700% damage. A Holy Pool is formed, gathering 1,000 energy per enemy slain (max: 1.8 million). Upon reaching max energy, the pool unleashes a final strike of 1.8 million Holy damage to the primary target. Cooldown: 30 minutes.

BOOM—!

The Flame Demon’s sneer froze. Holy light roared through the battlefield, engulfing him in a divine blaze. His body twisted and shrieked as he was purified, completely erased from existence.

And with him, his entire Void legion followed, obliterated by the cleansing radiance. Even the corrupted, tainted ground beneath them shimmered briefly as it was purified, revealing the once-lush landscape beneath the rot.

The allied forces stood in stunned silence, awestruck.
