Maylene’s shout directly frightened Eevee into running out of the cave.
"Eevee!"
It plunged into the bushes and disappeared.
Cynthia felt somewhat regretful. She quite liked Eevee.
Unfortunately, the timing was not right. Otherwise, Cynthia would definitely have caught this little one.
Noticing Cassia’s gaze, Julian raised an eyebrow.
"Cassia, do you like Eevee?"
Cynthia nodded.
"A fluffy little cutie like Eevee is indeed something I’ve thought of catching."

"We’ll set up camp here first. As for catching Eevee, leave it to me. I am a provisional Gym Leader, after all."

Julian cut a cooked steak into small pieces and placed them on a plate.

The slightly larger Eevee told the other Eevee to wait in the grass.

Julian believed the Eevee would not be able to resist the ice cream he had worked overtime to make last night.
After setting up the bait, Julian returned to continue grilling meat.

Julian held Eevee and smiled just as happily.
In the future, he could use Eevee missing Eevee as a reason to ask Cassia to meet.
