I wore my gown back and sat on the bed. The butterflies had flown away, and now my hand gently rested on Orange’s head, softly caressing her fur.
"Yeah, that’s the spot!" she moaned out, but I didn’t laugh. I was still hurt... about my babies. They were gone, and I would have more, but I couldn’t protect the first ones I had. It made my heart ache.
"Did they feel pain when they died?" I asked, and she shook her head.
"The cubs hadn’t formed yet, so don’t worry. They felt absolutely no pain," she said, and my smile widened.
"That’s good!" I said, tears glistening in my eyes.
"Should we move in?" I heard Liora’s hushed voice coming from the door.
"It’s been three hours already. I can’t stay here, I’m worried. Plus, who is she talking to?" I heard Bibi’s words and snapped my gaze back to stare at the closed door right in front of me.
"You can’t keep hating them!" Orange said, and I paused.
"I hate you too. You abandoned me!" I said, and her normal expression fell.
"Hiss!" she hissed, but it only made me roll my eyes and smack her head.
She stood in place. "I refuse to be treated like a normal cat!" she said, standing up and attempting to walk away, but I dragged her back and forced her between my thighs.
"You aren’t going anywhere!" I said coldly. "Consider this your punishment!" I added, and she gritted her tiny teeth together.
"This is beyond unfair!" she complained, about to burst into tears.
"You’re abusing your system!" she screamed, yet I continued to caress her fur, I found a sweet spot and she drooled.
"You were saying?" I asked, she drooled even more and smiled. "Nothing! Scratch harder!" she commanded, and I increased my pace.
Her tail wiggled, slapping against the sheets. "Ahh, so good!" she said, sucking in her bottom lip.
I chuckled softly, for a second, I forgot my pain. I stood up, holding Orange in my arms and still scratching her softly, and reached for the doorknob and opened it.
I found everyone leaning against the door, except Azrael, who stood farther behind, leaning against the wall.
"Hi," Veyra said softly with a cheeky smile...Everyone leaning on the door, lost their balance. Liora and Bibi landed straight on the ground, but they got up instantly.
"Are you better?" Liora asked, and I smiled softly, forcing out a small smile.
"You aren’t fully healed!" Veyra said, and his hand softly landed on my cheek.
"I’m so sorry. I should have been there!" he said, but I just stared blankly, and Ryker stepped forward.
"We should have been there. We tried so hard to find you. You were just gone. We couldn’t tell or sense you!" he said and gently reached for my hair.
"No words will ever say how much regret we feel!" Thyrian said, tugging at his sleeve.
"We are sorry. We failed you as beast consorts!" Azrael said and stepped closer.
I stared straight at them, I believed they had tried so hard to find me. Each and every one of their powers seemed weakened from using enormous amounts of energy. I could see it.
Did I perhaps...
"Yes, you are now able to see the flame of everyone’s power in their hearts!" Orange said, and I sighed.
"So I got this ability out of sympathy?" I asked, clearly irritated, but Orange only smiled.
"If only you knew, you wouldn’t be so grumpy!" she said softly, I heard when his words and raised a brow....Knew what? I wanted to ask, but before I could, they stepped closer, and just like that, I froze.
Each and every one of my beast-men had knelt down, my lips dropped open in total shock.
"We will be off now!" Bibi said, she gently took Orange out of my arms and dragged Liora away by the wrist, rhey walked out and slammed the door shut.
"Azrael? He was kneeling too?" I thought and stared in total disbelief.
My lips parted to say something, but nothing escaped. "Get up, all of you!" I said, but they didn’t stand up, instead, Veyra stretched out his hand.
A whip?
The same kind the original Villainess had used in them before.. "Whip us, Master. We wronged you!" he said softly.
My lips trembled, I wanted to find words, but I couldn’t, instead, I felt my blood boil.
Did they still think I was her?
I was just a little angry, but that didn’t mean I would actually hit them.
"Vent your anger, Master. We wouldn’t resent you!" Thyrian added, and I sucked in a deep breath.
"Azrael, talk some sense into them!" I screamed, yet he didn’t move.
"We deserve every hit!" he said, making me bite my lower lip.
I wanted to say something, but nothing escaped my mouth, I stretched out my hand and took the whip, and they all shut their eyes, ready for the sting.
I raised the whip in the air and threw the whip to the other side of the room, it landed heavily on the floor.
After waiting for nothing, their eyes slowly opened, I folded my arms beneath my chest.
"If you guys do this next time, I will free you from the contracts. I don’t need beast consorts who want me to abuse them!" I retorted, Immediately, they smiled.
"Don’t leave me!" Veyra said and gently reached for my hand. He carefully unfolded my crossed arms and gently rested his cheek against my palm.
"They are so soft," he murmured, staring directly into my eyes.
Ryker took my hand too and gently planted a kiss on it. "I need you, Master!" he said softly, it made my heart ache...they all looked so vulnerable.
"Please don’t hate me!" Thyrian said softly. His eyes reddened, and he moved closer, hugging me around the waist. His warm face rested against my stomach, and my eyes widened.
Wow. Was this how it felt to be loved and cared for? They would make wonderful fathers. I couldn’t help but smile and bite down on my bottom lip.
Azrael didn’t seem like he was going to move, but then he stood up, I raised a brow, maybe he would walk away, but he walked behind me.
Before I could react, his arms wrapped around me from behind, and he hugged me tighter, resting his head against my back.
"You can’t escape me!" he said coldly, sounding completely obsessed.
The anger I had been carrying earlier seemed to disappear, ny chest slowly warmed.
"It’s so hot here!" I complained, trying to squirm away from their grip, but my hand was being held, making my whole face turn red.
Thyrian’s warm breath tickled my stomach, making my breath hitch. "Guys, this isn’t how you should apologize!" I said but they only looked at me with guilty expressions.
"Please don’t be sad. We can always have more cubs!" they said in unison
I stared up at the ceiling as the room felt so hot!
Too many consorts!
