Rebirth: Beasts Bound

"Goddess," I said, placing my hands on my chest. Kael just stared at my face, trying to find any hint of emotions in my eyes.

"You saw that didn’t you?" He said and my eyes narrowed.

"What do you think?" I said and he bit down on his lower lip. Gawd, I stared because those lips of his were clearly pink and inviting, but I looked away clearing my throat. He stepped closer and I moved my face some inches back.

"Trust me, I would never hurt you. I don’t have the bones in me to hurt my savior" he said, but I only stared at him.

He’s a snake, and snakes are cunning creatures, two faced and hypocritical. I can’t fully trust him.

"Why were you sniffing my gown?" I asked pointing at the open bag he left a few steps away from us.

"They smell like you" he said and I froze, raised a brow and chuckled under my breath.

"Smell like me?" I asked and he nodded.

"I seem to have liked you. Why don’t you take me in, I promise I wouldn’t try any such thing or anything evil" he pleaded but I looked away.

"I already told you, I’m not adding any more beasts to my harem, I’m good with the four I have" I said and he pouted.

"You could have 5. Raven, anyone would jump at the opportunity just to have me. What, don’t you want me?" He asked, although his tone was soft at the beginning, it became darker as he said those words. Why did I feel he suddenly became someone else.

"I can’t accept you" I said placing my hands on his cheeks. He melted in them instantly.

"But I like you".

"How can you like someone you just met? Hmm" I asked and he bit down on his lower lips.

"Love at first sight, it happens" he blurted out and I rolled my eyes "Such doesn’t exist" I said and gently pushed him off, but he got back on his knees and crawled to me.

"Pet me " he said and I froze.

"What?" I asked, hesitant but his googly eyes gazed straight at me and didn’t want to tear away. I sighed and reached out. He placed his hair under my hands and smiled. I gently caressed.

His hair was really soothing and smooth. I didn’t realize when a smile curled to my lips and he smiled too, but then I heard a tree twig snap into two. I lifted my gaze and there Azrael stood, his eyes were already shimmering green-black and the same mystic colour appeared in his orbs.

"What are you doing?" He demanded and I retracted my hands, was about to pull away but Kael suddenly hugged me. I froze.

"Move " I said but he just hugged tighter.

"If they see you and I like that, the more they will accept to let me in as one of them. You have the power Raven, you don’t have to talk anything out with them. If you want me, you can have me...I feel like you want me. Are they stopping you?" He asked and I gritted my teeth.

"Move away" my voice became dark and my eyes went dim, but he didn’t let go. I could even feel my ribs being crushed. My face turned purple, air I wasn’t getting any... My eyes began to drop close. I could feel my hands, he had trapped them too.

Just then Azrael appeared right in front of him. He placed his hands on his shoulder and Kael hissed, but froze instantly seeing Azrael eyes. His eyes colour also became the same and he immediately began to let go.

I crawled away from his body, and inhaled sharply letting all the oxygen in. Azrael didn’t stop there. His hands reached for Kael’s neck and grabbed it.

My eyes rose in panic. I knew if not for him I would be badly injured right now. Okay he was able to stop Kael, because he was a demon and snakes were his specialty.

Kael immediately began to cough as Azrael hands tightened around his neck "How dare you, do you think you are worthy" he snarled, his voice was much darker and bolder.

"I-did-nt mean to do such, I would never hurt Raven" he managed to say but that only angered Azrael more. I moved and placed my hands on his.

"Don’t wake the others" I whispered into his ear and Azrael immediately let go. As soon as he let go Kael held his neck, rubbing them and hissed at Azreal. I could see his tongue slid out.

"Are you okay?" I asked and he nodded "Yes" his voice sounded hoarse and dry. I reached out to help him but Azrael dragged me that second.

His lips landed on me. It was rough and hungry at first. He even bit my lip till I bled, and once he pulled away he turned to Kael.

"You will never experience this" he said. He didn’t even let me add any words, and draped me over his shoulders like I weighed nothing.

He took me deep into the woods and let me down "Why did you do that?" I snapped and he snarled, baring his fangs at me. I stared there frozen.

He reached for the sleeve of his shirt, yanked it and tore it in one go. I have never seen him this angry before.

"Undress" he said and I raised a brow.

"Why?" I asked and he just stared at my eyes "You would never ask why before Raven" he said and I sighed. He was right. I reached for the gown and let it slip off. My fair skin came into view and my lips parted.

"What’s this f-" I didn’t finish my words, when suddenly I felt something moving in my tummy.

"What’s that?" I asked in panic and Azrael stepped closer to me.

"Snake glands" he said and I froze.

Glands? What was that? What did it have to do with me?

"He was in heat Raven, you don’t hug a beastsman that isn’t contracted or bonded with you. It’s a death sentence" he moved closer saying it to my face, inches away.

"If I hadn’t arrived, he would have had his way with you once you died, do you realize what you just put yourself in?" He snapped and I swallowed hard.

"I didn’t know" I mumbled out softly. I have never been interested in snakes.

"Ahhh" escaped from my lips as another painful heat came. I lost my balance and landed on the ground kneeling.

"Help me" I let out lowly and softly. Azrael held my cheeks, his thumb gently wiped the soft tears that had dropped.

He placed his hand on my tummy and I saw as his mist moved in. I grabbed onto him tightly.

"Do I have to be naked for this?" I asked and he pulled me closer "Once I get it out of you, you will feel weird Raven, do whatever you please" he said and I nodded...

He continued and then his hands landed on my waist. He lifted me up with no effort and walked deeper into the woods, while I just held my tummy frowning and groaning in pain.

I couldn’t see clearly, but I knew he had arrived at some pond. He gently placed me in and immediately got into the water. He placed me on his thighs and suddenly needles appeared in the air. The sharp tips aimed at me. My eyes widened in panic and I held onto his shirt gripping tightly.

"Don’t be scared" his rough cold voice said and I trembled feeling it calm down my tensed body.

Just then they all moved in, all entered my body and a cry escaped from my lips. They felt like heavy needles.

"It’s okay" he said softly and then one needle began to wrigle its way in and the others also began to pierce their way in.

I felt my body getting uncomfortable and unreasonably hot. I bit down on my bottom lip trying to ease the pain...

Azrael thumbs gently grazed my arm and began to caress my back, but I didn’t expect him to suddenly put in a needle. I immediately coughed out black substance.

"Was that it?" I asked and Azrael nodded "Don’t go close to him, he can’t control himself, especially when he’s in heat. He had transferred venomous glands into your body. I don’t care if it was accidental or not....this would have gotten you sick" he said and I nodded.

"I will listen to you from now on" I mumbled out. The needles disappeared and I rested my body on his chest.

I licked my lips, when suddenly I felt something poking me from underneath.

"Did you, just-" The words didn’t escape from my lips fully, when his hands suddenly groped my breasts.

"I’m also in heat" he whispered, his voice raspy and seductive. I let out a shaky breath and then his thumb moved on my nipple, making me tremble that instant.

"Hng-aa"
