Reincarnated as a damn planet

Zillagod finally unleashed its attack.

A blinding ray erupted from its mouth and tore through the air directly toward Erid, who was still floating before the colossal creature.

The attack struck the elf head-on and continued traveling far beyond him, carving through a mountain in the distance and splitting it cleanly in half before continuing across the landscape. Acres of land were obliterated in a single instant, leaving behind a massive scar that stretched across the horizon.

The entire battlefield shook violently from the sheer force of the attack, and the soldiers struggled to remain standing as the ground trembled beneath their feet.

Thankfully, the ray had been directed toward Erid rather than the armies below, otherwise thousands would have been erased before they could even react.

Erid slowly turned his head.

Behind him stood what remained of the mountain, now divided into two enormous halves with a trail of destruction stretching between them.

His eyes widened as he stared at the devastation, finally understanding just how hopeless their situation could become.

There was no way they could defeat something like this.

Yet Erid did not falter.

He clenched his fists and turned toward the armies below, forcing himself to remain composed despite the fear building within him.

"Don’t give up! Launch another attack!"

The soldiers responded to his command, and once again the battlefield erupted with magic and weapons. They knew they were fighting an enemy far beyond anything they had ever encountered, but retreating would only leave their homes and people defenseless.

With Zillagod finally leaving the shallow waters, the battle entered another phase.

It was now time for those capable of fighting at close range to shine.

Retian watched as the enormous creature continued advancing toward the land, each step causing the earth beneath it to tremble. He tightened his grip around the Daggers of Divinity before looking toward the three men beside him.

"Lets do our part now."

Mizyuk and Gajia exchanged glances before nodding, while Vax tightened his grip around his weapon. Without another word, the four humans prepared themselves and rushed forward.

Retian leaped into the air first, the two divine daggers firmly gripped in his hands as he soared toward Zillagod’s enormous body. Behind him, Gajia launched himself forward with his massive blunt mace, while Mizyuk followed with his long sword drawn, the three figures appearing almost insignificant as they approached the mountain-like creature.

Retian reached Zillagod first.

With every ounce of strength he possessed, he drove both Daggers of Divinity into the creature’s massive chest. Gajia struck immediately afterward, his enormous mace crashing into the same area with tremendous force, while Mizyuk’s sword followed through with a powerful slash.

The combined impact erupted into a massive explosion.

Smoke and debris swallowed Zillagod’s upper body as the shockwave spread across the battlefield. The three humans were thrown backward by the force before landing near the shoreline, where they immediately turned toward the enormous cloud of smoke.

"Did that do it?" Mizyuk asked.

The smoke slowly cleared.

A tiny mark remained on Zillagod’s chest. Compared to its enormous body, the damage was barely noticeable, resembling nothing more than a mosquito bite against the skin of a giant. Their strongest combined attack had failed to accomplish what they had hoped.

Then Zillagod roared.

The sound was louder than anything they had heard before, shaking the battlefield and forcing soldiers to cover their ears. Before anyone could recover, the creature opened its mouth once again and began charging another attack, but this time its head was angled toward the ground.

"Move!"

The ray slammed into the earth with unimaginable force, tearing through the battlefield and instantly vaporizing everything caught within its path. Lizardmen and Fishmen who failed to escape were erased in seconds, leaving absolutely nothing behind as the attack continued boring deeper into the ground.

Retian stared at the destruction in disbelief.

The place that had once been covered in sand was now an enormous opening descending into seemingly endless darkness. He could not even see the bottom.

"Did that thing... just pierce through the ground?"

Retian clenched his teeth as his hands tightened around the Daggers of Divinity. Fear was beginning to creep into his mind, but he forced it back down as he looked toward Zillagod.

"Can we even defeat that thing?"

For a moment, nobody answered.

Retian’s eyes hardened. "No. We must defeat it."

He raised his divine daggers once again and prepared himself for another assault. When he glanced around, he realized that the others had managed to escape the attack as well, though several soldiers had not been so fortunate.

Then his gaze landed on the two Lizardman leaders.

Siar was staring at the battlefield in silence.

His eyes were fixed upon the countless members of his army who had just been erased.

"It killed my people..."

His grip tightened around the piece of Odir’s divine axe in his hand.

"It really killed my people."

Siar’s expression twisted with rage as bloodlust overtook the fear that had filled him moments earlier. He raised the axe and stared directly at Zillagod.

"YOU DAMN THING!"

Without waiting for anyone to stop him, Siar launched himself into the air and charged toward Zillagod’s legs. Cull watched the destruction of his own army before his expression hardened as well, and without hesitation, he followed Siar into the air with the other half of Odir’s divine axe.

Zillagod noticed them.

The creature swung its enormous tail toward the two incoming Lizardmen, the sheer size of the appendage creating a violent gust of wind as it swept across the battlefield. At the same moment, Erid continued bombarding Zillagod from above, forcing the creature’s attention away from the approaching warriors.

That brief distraction was enough.

Siar and Cull met in the air before Zillagod’s massive legs, their divine axes raised simultaneously. The two weapons struck at the same moment, producing a tremendous impact that sent a violent ripple through the air and displaced the surrounding wind.

BOOOOM!

The force of their combined strike shook the earth beneath them.
