"So, when are you going to tell me?"
"Tell you what?"
Kalon knew what Thea was asking, but he had no intention of revealing his secrets.
"Tell me how you’ve managed to become so strong."
The good thing about the world of systems was that sudden gains in strength were no surprise.
The world acknowledged that nobody truly understood the way the systems worked.
Some people were simply unlucky and were dealt a bad hand when it came to attributes and skills.
Others were blessed and given great luck.
Of course, scientists had discovered small things that played a part in this, such as genetics and upbringing. However, there was still so much that was unknown.
Anomalies existed everywhere.
However, what nobody would ever guess was that Kalon was able to leave the planet, something that was meant to be impossible.
"Let’s call it luck," was all he responded with as the pair walked back towards the house, finished with training.
Kalon retrieved the entry form, where both of their names had been signed.
"I’ll head back and hand this in now," he then said, ready to leave.
But Thea stopped him.
"No, take a bath first. Mother would kill me if I didn’t offer you one."
"A bath?" Kalon repeated. "But I’m hardly sweating at all."
"...Wow, what a way to rub in the fact that you’re stronger than me now," Thea sighed.
"Anyway, it’s not a bath to clean yourself. Our bath is specially designed to replenish mana and health."
Oh?
"That doesn’t sound bad. Sure, I’ll have one."
...
Ten minutes later, Kalon found himself naked inside a room that resembled a luxury spa. The bath itself was the size of a pond.
The water he was soaking in felt cleansing and was designed to relax the body in ways he couldn’t imagine.
Except there was only one problem.
Kalon couldn’t fully relax, as Thea was in the same bath as him, but on the opposite side.
The room was filled with so much steam that it made it hard to see her. Not only that, but they were far apart.
Still, every time she moved, Kalon could hear the sound of the water splashing.
Due to his Enhanced Eyesight physical trait, he could also make out her outline through the steam as she walked over to the other side of the bath and removed her towel.
...
The two soaked in silence.
Only after five minutes did Thea break it.
"I’m guessing that your affinity to light is the reason why Sun Greatest is angry at you?"
Her voice echoed through the bathroom.
Kalon didn’t respond immediately.
"Something like that," he eventually said.
Silence followed again.
"How have you been finding school since the mock battles?" Thea spoke again.
"...Different. Better than before."
More silence followed.
This time, there was a much longer pause before Thea spoke.
"I’m sorry for never helping you in the past. I should have... Watching is just as bad as taking part, especially when you have the power to help."
This caught Kalon by surprise.
Thea had already expressed that she felt bad for not being there for him when he was being bullied.
Kalon never specifically held it against her.
After all, she was one of the few who never laughed when it was happening.
But still, she was right. Kalon harboured disdain towards his entire year group for never sticking up for him.
Thea was included, but gradually he had forgiven her.
"It’s fine. Those times are over anyway, and they won’t come back... ever."
Kalon couldn’t see it, but Thea’s eyes widened slightly at his words.
"I know," she said. "You are stronger than everyone now, so they’ll have to choose someone else to pick on."
"That won’t happen either," Kalon replied immediately.
Thea was stunned into silence.
He continued.
"As long as I’m there, I won’t let anyone get bullied."
I don’t even think my Radiant Soul would let me... it amplifies my hatred for bullies too much, even if I’m not the one being bullied.
Thea smiled faintly and let out a soft laugh beneath her breath.
"That’s right... because you are a good man."
...
Immediately afterwards, Thea rose from the bath and prepared to leave first.
What she didn’t know was that the steam in the room had slowly begun to clear, giving Kalon a much better view of her silhouette.
He could easily make out her generous curves. With every step she took towards the exit, her plump ass jiggled gently, sending droplets of water scattering across the floor.
His member stiffened beneath the water as he watched her close the door behind her, leaving him alone.
Then he let out a great sigh.
If only my Space Seducer System worked on humans as well.

An hour later...
"Thank you for handing in your entry form, Kalon. You will be contacted soon regarding whether or not it has been accepted."
Kalon nodded to the academy receptionist, who would deliver the form to the headmaster.
Afterwards, the sun set, bringing nightfall.
It had been a long day for Kalon, and all he wanted to do at that moment was relax.
However, he had planets to visit.
He also hadn’t been given a mission the last time he travelled to space, which meant he was most likely to receive one this time.
As always, he headed to the rooftops after the sun had fully set and selected the planet he wished to travel to.
First on the list was Cryos. He needed to visit, since Sifa was going to participate in her planet’s summoner tournament.
He had also told the woman to expect him at night so that they could prepare together.

He was also in a bedroom.

She wore a white gown that reached down to her ankles, leaving only her bare ice feet on display.
When Kalon arrived, she turned to face him.
Her eyes lit up slightly.
"K-Kalon... you came."
