"Deep Sea Pressure, huh? I like this."
Kalon was pleased with the three rewards he had been given for the quest.
He felt that they filled in a lot of gaps that he was currently lacking.
With Photon Slash, he now had an offensive strike that could be used up close or at mid-range, and it also had a relatively short cooldown.
With Crown of Heaven, he was given a constant buff to agility and allowed light damage to be applied to all strikes.
With Astral Counter, he could perfectly counter all strikes, regardless of the affinity.
With Ninefold Sunbreaker, he could fight at long range with incredible splash damage that was hard to defend against.
With Deep Sea Pressure, he could apply a constant debuff to his opponents, slowing them down drastically.
He also had his title, Bully Breaker, which applied a debuff to those who had ever looked down on him.
And Formidable Body frequently upgraded his physical body, giving him traits such as Arcane Sight while also making him physically stronger and more attractive.
As for his attributes, many were still lacking, but they were slowly increasing.

Alright, with these new upgrades, I feel even more comfortable handling business on the other planets.
Kalon decided to travel to Venduros first.
After all, the planet was in a much more critical state than Cryos at the moment.

[You have arrived!]
[Welcome to Venduros!]
...
Kalon arrived standing in the hallways of a massive palace.
At first, he was worried.
He thought that somehow he had ended up in the empire’s palace that Josinia used to work in. If that was the case, then that would mean that the woman had somehow been brought back.
But no, he was in the palace belonging to the resistance.
He let out a sigh of relief.
Then he heard familiar voices.
A small group of maids stood near a large window, speaking in low, excited tones.
In the middle of them was Josinia, dressed once again in a maid uniform, this time in the colours of the resistance. Her glossy purple skin and pink eyes stood out among the others.
"You’ve actually spoken to him?" one of the younger maids asked, eyes wide. "The human?"
Josinia nodded, a little shy.
"Yes. A few times," she replied.
"What’s he like?" another asked. "Is it true he destroyed an entire empire force by himself outside the walls?"
"I heard the empire soldiers are too scared to attack today because of him," a third added.
"The whole city feels safer. People are saying Princess Unestia is even planning a counterattack now that we have someone like him on our side. Fighters from the empire are even trying to join us. The resistance is actually succeeding!"
Josinia opened her mouth to answer, but the words stopped when she looked past the group and saw Kalon standing at the end of the hallway.
The other maids followed her gaze.
Silence followed instantly.
Kalon walked toward them calmly. His presence alone was enough to make the younger servants step back.
The air seemed to shift around him. Even without activating any skills, the confidence he carried after everything he had done made him feel like a prince among them.
One of the maids whispered, almost afraid,
"That’s him... the human..."
Josinia’s cheeks darkened to a deeper purple.
She quickly excused herself from the group and hurried over to him.
"Kalon," she said softly. "You are back."
He nodded.
"I wanted to check on things. To check on you... I hear the city has been quiet today?"
Josinia glanced back at the other maids, who were still staring, then lowered her voice.
"It has. News of what you did outside the walls spread fast. The empire hasn’t tried anything since. Princess Unestia has been in meetings all morning. She’s planning to launch her own attack soon while they’re still afraid."
Kalon took that in. The situation had already shifted because of him.
He had to admit that it made him feel good.
He looked at Josinia for a moment, then gently took her hand in his.
"Come with me for a bit."
She followed without question, despite still being on shift.
He led her away from the group of staring servants and into a quieter side corridor where they could speak alone.
Once they were out of earshot, Kalon stopped and turned to face her.
He remained silent for a moment, considering what he was about to say.
"Josinia, I think you can do more with yourself than just being a maid for the princess."
Josinia looked at him with surprise.
"Really? Like what?"
It was something she had never thought about before.
Even when she had left the empire and planned to join the resistance, she had immediately assumed that she would become a maid once more.
However, Kalon believed that this mindset of hers was wrong.
He already knew that she was Low Silver rank; however, this was likely due to her attributes rather than her skill capabilities.
When he was walking with Josinia just a moment ago, he had decided to take a look at her affinities.
He saw something very interesting.
The woman had the capability of awakening affinities to all the core elements.
In other words, she had the same elemental potential as a woman like Thea Bluegale, who was seen as a prodigy.
The only difference was that Josinia was limited to only the core elements, whilst Thea had the potential for more.
Kalon turned his attention back to Josinia.
"Like becoming a mage."
The woman stared at him blankly, like she couldn’t believe what he was saying.
"M-me, a mage?" she stuttered over her words. "How can such a thing even be possible? I don’t have any affinities."
Kalon smiled at her and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Not yet, but with training, I think we could make you one of the strongest on your planet."
