Wilderness (5th Zone)
It was morning. The whole city hadn’t slept because of the continuous noise from the wilderness.
30 minutes later,
A mid-sized aircraft arrived in the 5th Zone. It didn’t land at the airport. Instead, it stopped above City A.
Two figures exited the mid-sized aircraft. They were council elders of the Human Alliance.
Upon arrival, they immediately sensed the presence of the two Tier-9 Beasts. Their expressions changed drastically.
However, the beasts had yet to enter the wilderness, which brought a sigh of relief to both of them.
"We made it in time. Let’s go," the bald-headed elder said.
Hearing that, the red-haired elder nodded his head.
Swoosh!
The two figures darted out towards the wilderness. The mid-sized aircraft then turned around and left the area.
However, the reporters on the ground had captured the footage. The speed of the departing figures told them that they could be lords from the Human Alliance.
The news reporters were careful. They didn’t want to make things public yet.
Yet, many people on their terraces and in the streets saw the two flying figures.
The elders soon reached the location. They didn’t stop for a chat; instead, they went to fight against the Tier-9 Beasts.
Boom!
The bald-headed elder went to the Tier-9 Earth Lizard, while the red-haired elder went towards the Tier-9 Black Dart Frog.
Their sudden arrival stunned everyone. Even the Tier-8 Lifeline Beasts felt the presence of the Tier-9 Beast Tamers.
Swoosh!
The bald-headed elder appeared above the Tier-9 Earth Lizard.
"You guys can back away," he said to the three Lifeline Beasts.
Screeeech!
The Tier-9 Golden Eagle made a happy sound. It circled in midair before heading back towards its Beast Tamer.
Similarly, the Brown Rock Salamander and Stone Lizard returned to their Beast Tamers.
Elder John, Elder Allen, and Elder Smith called back their Lifeline Beasts to their mental zones one after another.
They were visibly relaxed. Their Lifeline Beasts were exhausted and required much needed rest.
"They appeared on time. Otherwise, the tired-out beasts would have been easily crushed," Elder Smith said.
Hearing that, Elders John and Allen nodded their heads.
They wore relieved smiles on their faces.
On the other side, the Flame Lion and Red-Brown Bear felt the presence of the Tier-9 Beast Tamer as well. They realized that help had arrived.
Swoosh!
The red-haired elder appeared at the spot. He gave a similar command as well.
Both beasts then returned to their Beast Tamers’ side.
City Governor Martin and Head Harold looked at each other, catching their breath. They had been worried that politics might play out in the Human Alliance.
Fortunately, there were elders who didn’t forsake the safety of the city for the bigger picture.
The Head of the Beast Taming Association, the Dean of Central University 5, and other family heads relaxed as well. They knew their city was saved for now.
Coincidentally, two Tier-9 Beast Tamers had arrived. They could deal with the two threats.
Swoosh!
The other Beast Tamers backed away and returned to the boundaries of the wilderness.
Boom!
The bald-headed elder stared at the Tier-9 Earth Lizard. The beast was also looking directly into his eyes.
The Tier-9 Beast felt fear this time. The influence of the improved beast powder was diluted by that fear.

Slowly, the Tier-9 Earth Lizard came back to its senses. It had forgotten that there was a human city beyond the wilderness.
It had been lured in by the scent, unknowingly posing a threat to the human city. No wonder the Human Tier-9 Beast Tamers had appeared.

The bald-headed elder summoned his Lifeline Beast.

A white light shot out from his body and surged into the sky. A massive flying beast over 10 meters tall appeared.
The length of the beast was over 40 meters. The wings on each side extended up to 20 meters. There was also a giant horn on the beast’s forehead.
It was a Tier-9 Flying Monitor Lizard. When the massive beast made its appearance, the Tier-9 Earth Lizard felt challenged.
It immediately began to charge its tail. A massive sand vortex attack began to manifest.
Meanwhile,
The Tier-9 Black Dart Frog stopped moving forward. It looked towards the newly arrived human. It clearly felt the presence of a Tier-9 Beast within him.
Compared to the Tier-9 Earth Lizard, the Tier-9 Black Dart Frog was still inside the unknown land. It had yet to reach the border.
The beast then felt the presence of another Tier-9 Lifeline Beast in the sky. It was a flying-type beast belonging to the human Beast Tamer.
The intelligence of the Tier-9 Black Dart Frog kicked in. It realized why it had been attracted towards the human side of the wilderness.
Now that two Human Tier-9 Beast Tamers had appeared, pushing into the wilderness was impossible. The beast did not know whether there were additional reinforcements.
It could not handle the situation alone. The Tier-9 Black Dart Frog turned around and began heading back toward its habitat.
The red-haired elder sighed in relief. He didn’t want a confrontation; the noise and blood would only attract more beasts to their side. It could worsen the situation.
In particular, the blood of Tier-9 Beasts was craved by higher-tier beasts. He did not want a situation where the city was surrounded by even stronger beasts.
That was why most Tier-9 Beast Tamers avoided fighting Tier-9 Corrupted Beasts near the city.
He didn’t move back. He remained standing in midair, refusing to leave until the beast disappeared from sight.
However, he kept his eyes on the other side. He saw the Tier-9 Flying Monitor Lizard charging up for an attack.
Boom!
The Tier-9 Flying Monitor Lizard opened its mouth to attack.
A wind attack sphere manifested inside, drawing the surrounding currents in the sky directly into it.
It was morning, but the atmosphere began to shift under the pressure of the attack. The sky suddenly grew dim.
Seeing that, the other Beast Tamers backed away even further.
