The Tier-9 Earth Lizard released a sand vortex attack towards the Flying Monitor Lizard in the sky. The sand vortex attack went pulsating forward at full speed.

Right then, the Flying Monitor Lizard shot a wind attack towards the incoming attack.
Both attacks were Tier-9 Beast attacks. They rapidly closed the distance between each other.
Everyone watched the scene with bated breath. Already, one of the Tier-9 Beasts was retreating to its territory.
Now everyone wanted to know what would happen to the Tier-9 Earth Lizard. It was the Tier-9 Earth Lizard that had been causing problems from the very beginning.

A powerful blast of wind came into contact with the sand vortex.

An earth-shattering noise occurred. Except for the two Elders, all the other Beast Tamers covered their ears in pain, feeling their eardrums throb.
It was a clash between the elemental attacks of two Tier-9 Beasts.
The noise was so deafening that it spread across the wilderness. The surviving lower-tier beasts were injured by the sheer sound.
It didn’t stop there. The guards at the city gate and the people inside the city heard it, though the force of the sound had weakened by then.
Everyone inside felt only slight discomfort. Still, news reporters suspected that an intense battle was taking place between the Lords of the Human Alliance and the Tier-9 Beasts.
Unfortunately, every time such a fight took place, the media was forbidden from reporting it.

At the same time, the Beast Tamers withstood the shockwave created by the collision.

Everyone then saw the sand vortex attack get completely destroyed, while the wind attack continued pulsating forward.

In the blink of an eye, the attack struck the body of the Tier-9 Earth Lizard.

The Tier-9 Earth Lizard let out a roar of pain. The hard skin on its back was sliced open by the sharp wind blades.
Blood spurted from the wounds. For the first time, the Tier-9 Earth Lizard suffered real injuries. Earlier, the Tier-8 Beasts had tried, but they had failed.
They had only managed to keep the beast occupied as a distraction.
If it had been a direct confrontation without trickery, the Tier-9 Earth Lizard would have easily crushed them.
Roar!
The Tier-9 Earth Lizard realized the enemy was strong. On top of that, the enemy was a flying-type beast. Not only that, but the Lizard noticed the frog beast had already slipped away.
The other Beast Tamer was watching from the sidelines, yet to join the fray. If the two of them teamed up, it could never fight against two Tier-9 Beasts at once.
Rational thought kicked in. The Tier-9 Earth Lizard activated its ability. In the blink of an eye, most of its body sank underground.
Before it faced another attack, the beast turned around and fled. The Flying Monitor Lizard did not pursue it.
Its orders were only to drive the beast away. Besides, the back of the Tier-9 beast had sustained light injuries, and it would take time to heal.
Swoosh!
The bald-headed Elder called back his Lifeline Beast. The Flying Monitor Lizard disappeared, returning to the bald-headed Elder’s mental zone.
Next, he looked over and saw the red-haired Elder gazing ahead.

He flew over to him.
"What happened?" he asked.
"The poisonous frog left the area. It appears both of them were attracted by that thing," the red-haired Elder commented.
The bald-headed Elder’s eyes gleamed.
It was rare for two Tier-9 Lifeline Beasts to appear at the same time. Fortunately, they had arrived just in time; otherwise, the unthinkable could have happened.
"They really crossed the line this time," the bald-headed Elder said.
"After going back, we must report everything. Their activities need to be monitored," the red-haired Elder added.
They were referring to the Darkshade Organization and their experiments. They realized they had made the right decision to come.
Even one Tier-9 Beast Tamer would not have been enough to handle two Tier-9 Beasts.
"Let’s not discuss these things here," the red-haired Elder said.
Hearing that, the bald-headed Elder nodded.
Swoosh!
Both of them left the spot and appeared before City Governor Martin and the others.
They recognized the Governors by their uniforms.
"The beast attack is over for now. Except for the Governors, everyone should leave," the bald-headed Elder said.
Hearing that, the crowd complied, but the Head of the Beast Taming Association and the Dean of Central University 5 stepped forward.
"Elders, we want to know what happened. This attack was unusual. Two Tier-9 Beasts have never appeared here before," the Head of the Beast Taming Association said.
"We heard that the Elders know the reason, but the Governors aren’t allowed to say," the Dean of Central University added.
"Who might you be?" the bald-headed Elder asked.
"I’m the Head of the Beast Taming Association."
"I’m the Dean of Central University."
They introduced themselves one after the other.
Hearing that, the bald-headed Elder understood their positions.
"If your headquarters submits an official request, I will explain. I don’t have to disclose anything to you right now. You may all head back," the bald-headed Elder said.
Taken aback by the firm response, neither dared to provoke the two Tier-9 Beast Tamers.
Swoosh!
They nodded and left the area. Seeing this, the other family heads and Beast Tamers departed as well.
Head Harold nodded to City Governor Martin before taking his leave.
Elders John, Allen, and Smith then stepped forward.
"Elders, we are from the 4th Zone special base. We are heading back as well," Elder John said.
Hearing that, the two Elders were surprised. They hadn’t expected reinforcements from the special base to arrive so quickly. That too from the 4th zone.
"I know about the situation at the special base. Thank you for coming. I saw the three of you keeping one of the Tier-9 Beasts busy," the red-haired Elder said.
"Yes, we came to stop the beast, but we didn’t expect the arrival of a second one," the bald-headed Elder acknowledged.
