Special Base (4th Zone)
Nighttime came.
Jeremy Night woke up before the alarm sounded. He got out of bed and checked the time. It was 7:00 PM. He still had two hours.
He began to get ready. Since he was going to City A, he didn’t know whether he would get any free time. If possible, he wanted to visit the market there.
Last time, he had visited the city with Head Harold. It had not been a nice experience back then. He hoped to make it a better trip this time.
Time passed.
He went to the administration building exactly five minutes before 9:00 PM, but he saw Elder John was already there.
John noticed his arrival. Jeremy walked up to him.
"You are on time. Let’s go to the runway. The flight will depart in 15 minutes," John said while walking towards the runway.
"Okay," Jeremy replied.
[Are we going to another place?]
Jeremy heard Stella’s voice. He was relieved. He had thought she was so busy with her absorption process that she had forgotten about him.
"Yes, I’m heading to City A. It’s the number one city in the 4th Zone. This place is a training camp for selected Beast Tamers," he replied to her in his mind.
[Okay!]
Hearing that, Jeremy smiled, but he kept pace with Elder John.
John saw his reaction and asked, "What happened?"
"You seem happy," he added.
Jeremy quickly collected his thoughts and said, "It’s not often that you get the opportunity to visit City A in the 4th Zone."
John heard this. He raised his eyebrows and said, "As a special base member, you are allowed to visit City A. There is no need for a permit."
"I know. It’s just that I didn’t have time before," Jeremy said to him.
Obviously, he could not say that he was speaking to his Lifeline Beast.
[Hmmm, this person is strong. Stronger than the Gray Spider...]
Stella’s voice sounded in his mind.
"He is a Tier-8 Beast Tamer. He has a Tier-8 Golden Eagle Lifeline Beast. Of course he is stronger," Jeremy replied in his mind.
They arrived at the spot. Next, both of them boarded the flight and made their way to their seats. As usual, he asked for the window seat.
He sat in the window seat, while John sat in the seat next to him.
Shortly afterward,
The flight took off and departed from the special base.

City A (4th Zone)
Time passed.
The flight landed at the airport in the early morning. When the flight came to a halt, the passengers began to exit one by one.
John and Jeremy Night exited the flight and touched ground. Jeremy Night immediately felt the pure, rich natural energy in the surroundings.
It was slightly better than at the special base.
Buzz!
He saw that Stella had begun to absorb the natural energy. She was once again busy with her work. Next, they made their way out of the airport.
After exiting the airport, they hopped inside a cab and headed to the hotel.
Sunset Hotel
The cab driver dropped them off at their destination 15 minutes later. Both of them exited the cab, and John paid the fare to the driver.
Jeremy Night looked around. It was his first time visiting this hotel. City A was huge; he had been to a different hotel last time.
"Let’s go inside. We have somewhere else to go next," John said.
Jeremy Night grew curious, but he didn’t ask. They walked into the hotel and approached the front desk.
There were male and female staff behind the desk ready to help. Elder John showed his ID before engaging in conversation.
The staff immediately became respectful. They informed their manager, who was patrolling the hallways.
Upon learning the identity of the guest, the manager returned. He was an old man dressed in a black tuxedo.
He greeted Elder John and the young man, who seemed to be a Tier-4 Beast Tamer. He thought Jeremy might be a new talent recruited for the base.
John didn’t talk much. He wanted rooms for two days. He knew this hotel was popular and that it was hard to get rooms here, but the facilities provided by them were top-notch.
"There is no problem. We have rooms for you," the manager said.
The manager himself retrieved the keys for two rooms and started guiding the guests to their respective rooms.
A few minutes later,
The old man opened the room for Jeremy Night after opening one for Elder John. Jeremy Night walked inside with him.
He saw a spacious and fully furnished living area. The old man maintained a professional demeanor as he introduced the room and its facilities.
"We have a practice room next to the living area. It gives you natural energy slightly lower than the 3rd Zone, but it is better than the environment outside," the old man commented.
Jeremy heard that. He didn’t show any change in expression, but he was shocked. He had been impressed by the concentration of natural energy outside.
Yet the old man here looked down on the outside environment.
After showing him around the room, the old man handed the key to Jeremy before leaving. Jeremy collected his thoughts and stepped out.
He went to the next room and knocked on the door. He wanted to know the plan; he still hadn’t asked Elder John about the schedule.
Creak!
Elder John opened the door and welcomed him inside.
Jeremy Night walked inside. He entered the living area and sat on the sofa.
Elder John sat opposite him on a chair.
"Elder, what’s the plan?" Jeremy asked.
John let out a chuckle and said, "I was wondering when you would ask me."
"We are here to visit a lab called Dave’s Lab. The staff there will collect the information from the helmet device and process it," John said.
Hearing that, Jeremy Night raised his eyebrows. It was the first time he had heard about a tech company.
Usually, life revolved around the wilderness and Beast Taming Stores.
John saw through Jeremy Night’s thoughts and laughed.
"I know you might be interested. There are Beast Taming Talents that are non-combatant, but suitable for technology. That lab is one such place," John said.
