Strongest Hammer God

Chapter 1000: Painful Changes

Sebastian's Elemental appeared in front of him, but it wasn't alone. His Elemental was surrounding a smaller ball.

An instant later, the smaller ball of Elemental Energies was pushed towards Kyle, who contained it with his Energy.

Since it was no longer surrounded by lightning, the Elemental started to expand again. Its Elemental Energies gathered, and its true form was revealed.

It was made of shining streams of metal, which spun in circles. It looked a bit like a small tornado made of searing, molten metal. The Elemental was exceptionally weak when compared to them. There were no Elementals in the First Realm. Even the weakest Elementals started in the Second Realm. So, even though it was tiny when compared to the team, it could still kill armies of regular humans with ease.

Yet, this was not one of the weaker Elementals. After all, it was made of complete Elements. The weaker Elementals were not really Elementals since they only contained part of the Elements. True Elementals started in the Third Realm, and this was one of them.

As Kyle looked at the Elemental, he felt strange.

'This is going to be an integral part of my existence soon,' he thought.

The Elemental was flowing around chaotically, trying to attack everything around it. Elementals were as chaotic as the Elements, and they mindlessly attacked everything they could sense.

"Let's hope this works," Kyle said before looking at Star Genesis. "Are you ready?"

Star Genesis inspected the Formation Array she had created while Sebastian had been busy creating the Elemental. "Everything's in order. The Recovery Formation Array is active, and its Energy Source is linked to our Centers. We may start whenever."

Kyle nodded and looked back at Sebastian. "So, what's the best way to do this?"

"Well, first..." Sebastian transmitted as he told Kyle everything he knew about how to fuse with an Elemental.

Yes, Kyle was about to do the same thing as Sebastian and fuse with an Elemental. However, that wouldn't be all. After fusing with the Elemental, Kyle would also fuse the Elemental with the Demon Car. If everything worked out, they would create something unique.

When Sebastian was finished talking about his experiences, Kyle looked at the Elemental again.

"Well, here goes nothing," he said as he dispersed all of his Infused Laws. Then, he recreated one of his old Laws.

Kyle recreated his Law of Meteor and infused it into his mind. This was the only Infused Law he would have access to during the fusion. The reason for all of this was simple. Kyle needed to change his Spirit to work with the three Elements, and if he succeeded, he wouldn't have access to his other Elements anymore. The Law of Meteor was made of Yang-Fire, Yang-Wind, and Yang-Metal. The Elemental was made of the same Elements.

Next, Kyle's mind stretched into the Elemental.

"Argh!" Kyle groaned as he felt his mind burning. When he had entered the Elemental, his pure Energy had tried to fight against the violent Elemental Energies. While Kyle had an Infused Mind Law, his mind still worked with normal Energy. Trying to fight Elemental Energies with Neutral Energy was like trying to fight a fire with gasoline. The fire would just spread and consume the gasoline.

What Kyle had just done had been extremely risky. By moving the Energy inside of his mind, he had proverbially moved part of his brain into a fire. Naturally, his mind quickly recovered, but if he made a mistake, he would die.

Kyle's instincts were shouting at him that he was making a horrible mistake. They were telling him that this would lead to his death.

'Fuck off!' Kyle mentally shouted at his emotions. 'I need to do this!'

Then, he moved his mind into the Elemental again, and once more, he felt like he had run into a fire. Yet, this time, he didn't just stop. When part of his mind was burned, he willed for it to come out again while moving another part into the Elemental. Technically, the burned part didn't exist anymore, but ordering it to come back out anyway was important.

When the body wanted to heal something, the mind accessed the Spirit's blueprint, and the mind would recreate the lost part according to the blueprint. However, the location was also important. If Kyle didn't order the burned part of his mind to come out, it would recover inside the Elemental, which would just destroy it again.

The old part of Kyle's mind recovered as the new part burned into pieces. Kyle ordered the new part back before sending a different part of his mind into the fire.

This created a cycle. Part A went into the fire and was incinerated. Part B went into the fire and was incinerated, while Part A was recovering outside of the fire. Part C went into the fire and was incinerated, while Part B started recovering and Part A finished recovering.

It was like a wooden circular saw trying to violently cut through a steel plate. The first tooth of the saw was annihilated, but the saw kept spinning. When the second tooth hit the wall, it was also destroyed, but at the same time, the first tooth started recovering. More and more teeth were destroyed, but all of them recovered before hitting the steel plate again.

Kyle looked at the Elemental with intensity as he shoved parts of his mind into it. The pain was worse than Sin Flames, but he didn't care. He just kept going.

At the same time, Kyle also felt his thoughts becoming more disordered and chaotic. Even though his mind was always recovering, it was never fully healed. This made it difficult to create coherent thoughts.

By now, the Formation Array around Kyle was in full effect. Sebastian and Star Genesis were pushing their Energies into Kyle to keep his recovery going.

As time passed, Kyle started to feel like he was in a time loop. He felt like a sprinting person who kept reappearing in front of a burning wall. He kept running forward, burning up again and again. At some point, he even forgot why he was doing this. The constant destruction of his mind made it difficult to find reason in his actions. He only knew that he had to do it.

Years passed, and slowly, something else was starting to change.

Kyle's body was turning red in different spots on his skin. These spots quickly burned away, and healthy skin returned. At the same time, his aura started to grow unstable, and the Energy inside his Center was lowering.

The consumption of Energy of the Recovery Formation Array increased drastically.

Yet, Kyle kept going. He didn't even notice what was happening.

"He's reached the threshold," Sebastian told Star Genesis. "His mind is starting to give orders to his body by using Elemental Energies instead of Neutral Energy. His body views these orders as attacks and is fighting them. His Center is also trying to resist the Elemental Energies. If he keeps going like this, he will die."

"That means it's time for the next step?" Star Genesis asked.

Sebastian nodded and approached the Elemental. "The easy part is over."

Then, Sebastian grabbed the Elemental as he pulled out a spear. He shoved the Elemental into the spear, and the Formation Array Connections on it shone brightly.

Finally, Sebastian rammed the spear into Kyle's abdomen.

Clarity returned to Kyle's mind for just a moment, and he realized what was going on.

But then, his mind was thrown into chaos again as the Elemental left Sebastian's spear. The tip of Sebastian's spear was touching Kyle's Core Spark, and the Elemental had surrounded it.

The Core Spark was fine since it had been created by Kyle's Law of Meteor back then, which shared the same Elements as the Elemental.

Sadly, this was the only part of Kyle's body that was fine.

"The hard part starts now," Sebastian said.

There was only one thing Kyle experienced in this moment as his entire existence was filled with foreign and violent Energy.

"AAAAAAAHHHH!"

Pain.
