Strongest Hammer God

Kyle just kept shouting as he experienced the worst pain he had ever experienced.

The Neutral Energy of his Center flowed to the Core Spark, which absorbed it before giving off Elemental Energies. These Elemental Energies spread through all of Kyle's Energy Pathways, which delivered Energy to his entire existence.

The heavy weight of the Metal Energy strained his Energy Pathways.

The cutting aspect of the Wind Energy broke the walls.

The searing heat of the Fire Energy cauterized them, making it difficult for them to regenerate.

What Kyle was experiencing was similar to what a Mortal would experience if their blood were suddenly replaced with acid.

The destructive Energies spread into his muscles, tearing and breaking them. His organs were burned and destroyed. His bones broke continuously, and his mind was filled with searing pain.

Kyle's Biological Energy was dropping rapidly. Under normal circumstances, he would die very quickly. Yet, the Formation Array was keeping him alive.

Star Genesis looked at the Formation Array in shock. The amount of Biological Energy it was delivering to Kyle was unreasonably high! In fact, it was a lot higher than she had anticipated.

Even more, she noticed that the Energy in her Center was actually reducing. Kyle was using more Energy than Sebastian and Star Genesis could provide!

"Use the Comprehension Fruits," Sebastian said with narrowed eyes, "but be careful that you don't use the wrong ones."

"How should I use them?" Star Genesis asked.

"Use them as an Energy Source. It doesn't matter if their unique properties are lost. Just use them."

Star Genesis took out three Comprehension Fruits for Fire, Wind, and Metal Affinities and connected them to the Formation Array.

A moment later, the Elemental Energies of the fruits spread into Kyle's body, and when Star Genesis saw that, she became a bit panicked. The Energies were supposed to turn into Biological Energy!

She feared that the addition of yet more Elemental Energies would make things even worse, but surprisingly, the rate at which the Formation Array absorbed Energy lowered, which meant that Kyle was not getting injured as heavily anymore.

"Elementals do not have a will in the classic sense," Sebastian explained calmly, "but they still have instincts. Fire Elementals have as much of a consciousness as a random campfire, but that's already enough to burn you. The Comprehension Fruits do not have these instincts. Their Elemental Energies are uniquely without consciousness."

"By giving him the Energies inside the Comprehension Fruits, we are essentially administering an antidote to the poison that's assaulting him."

"How will that affect the process?" Star Genesis asked with worry.

"I have no idea," Sebastian said with a sigh.

"Wait, you don't know?" Star Genesis asked in surprise as her anxiety returned. "Then, why did you tell me to add them?!"

"What else are we supposed to do?" Sebastian asked calmly. "Also, based on my theory, the fruits should help."

"Based on YOUR theory?" Star Genesis asked with a nervously raised brow.

"Yeah, despite my spontaneous personality, I'm a scientist at heart," Sebastian answered. "I managed to survive and prove to the Red Witch that her hypothesis of Elemental Fusion is solid, turning it into a theory. However, if we truly want to make Elemental Fusion possible on a greater scale, we need to refine it."

"I did some research, looked at how my own body worked, consulted Manny from time to time, and finally, I came up with the Comprehension Fruit plan. We didn't use Comprehension Fruits back then since the Red Witch believed that the inherent aspects of Comprehension Fruits would strengthen the Elemental, making the process even more dangerous."

"It seems logical," Star Genesis interjected. "I know some things about Comprehension Fruits, and I also think that it should make things worse."

Sebastian lifted a finger. "And you're right," he said with a smile. "They would make things worse, but..."

Sebastian smirked. "The Comprehension Fruits in Ayuvar are different from the normal Comprehension Fruits. Usually, when beasts consume Comprehension Fruits, the Affinity for their Element increases for some time. They don't lose consciousness, die, or turn into Elementals. I've never heard about that happening anywhere."

"According to my theory, these unique Comprehension Fruits lower your body's defenses against foreign Energies. In essence, it acts like an immunosuppressant."

Star Genesis blinked in confusion. "Immunosuppressant?" she asked.

"Oh, forget it," Sebastian said awkwardly. "Forgot that you're not from Earth. On Earth, our bodies were filled with flaws. Our bodies had defensive mechanisms against foreign forces, but these mechanisms were not perfect. From time to time, the immune system of some unlucky people decides that part of their own body is a foreign entity and needs to be destroyed. These people then take medication that stops their own immune system from attacking their body."

"I think the Comprehension Fruits in Ayuvar have a similar property. I believe they're lowering the defenses of your body, allowing foreign Energies to enter more freely. On Demons, this would result in a complete collapse of defenses. The only thing they can use to fight back is their will."

"But humans are not Demons. Our Aspects of Power are spread instead of fused. I theorize that the Comprehension Fruits weaken your body's and your Center's defenses, but not the other ones."

Sebastian looked at Kyle, who was still screaming his lungs out.

"And I think I'm right," he added.

Star Genesis looked at Kyle with worry. "What if we run out of Comprehension Fruits? We are not connected to the Demon Car. We can't control it."

"No worries," Sebastian said. "If I weren't confident, I wouldn't have agreed to this plan. You have to remember that it took me thousands of years to fuse with my Elemental. If I had believed that Kyle would need that much time as well, I would have asked him to move the Demon Car to a hidden location, if there even is such a thing as a hidden location in the Abyss."

"I think, at most, we need two of each kind of fruit."

"Two?" Star Genesis asked with skepticism. "Are you saying Kyle will be done within a century?"

Sebastian nodded. "Yes, I think so. The Elemental Energies of the Comprehension Fruits not only make it easier to withstand the aggressive Energies, but they should also work like a metaphorical mediator."

"On one side, we have an organism that purely works with Neutral Energy. On the other side, we have an organism that purely works with aggressive Elemental Energies. They do not mix. They do not understand each other."

"And then, we have the friendly and peaceful Elemental Energies of the Comprehension Fruits. They are not a threat to the Neutral Energy Organism, and they share the attributes of the Aggressive Energy Organism. Both sides can interact with it. Like an emulsifier, it pulls both parties together, allowing them to collaborate."

"With enough time, they will combine into one thing. If Kyle were a beast, this process would only take minutes. Unfortunately, he is a human and has a Spirit. It takes a good while for his Spirit to adapt as well."

"As long as he can resist the pain, I'm confident that it will work out."
