Strongest Hammer God

The Overseer had around 10% of her maximum Energy remaining, but she also had around 25% of her maximum Energy stored inside a fox. Red barely had 5% of his maximum Energy remaining, and his hammer wasn't in better shape. After all, it had put almost all of its Energy into Karmic Calamity. Black had around 80% of his Energy remaining.

The Overseer charged towards Red, who was rushing towards the Overseer as well.

'Even if I sacrifice all of Red's Energy to use Karmic Calamity again, its effect won't be nearly as strong,' Kyle thought.

Karmic Calamity's effects were based on the difference in Energy between both parties. When Red had used it, his hammer had dumped almost 80% of its maximum Energy into the strike, while the Overseer had had around 25% of her total Energy left.

Since all Aspects were fused, the strengths of one's Spirit and mind were also determined by the Energy the Immortal had left. The Spirit of an exhausted Immortal was much weaker than the Spirit of a rested Immortal.

If Red managed to dump 100% of his total Energy into a fully rested Overseer, the effects would only be mediocre. The Overseer's mind would just be far more resilient since she would have a lot more Energy. That was why Red's earlier strike had been a unique opportunity. He had the chance to dump almost all of his hammer's Energy into the Overseer when her Energy storage had been at 25% of her maximum.

While she had only 10% of her Energy left, Red had only 5%. Instead of a ratio of four-to-one, it was a ratio of one-to-two, making the attack eight times less effective. That was why Red couldn't use Karmic Calamity right now. Well, he could use it, but it would be suicidal and stupid.

As Red and the Overseer charged towards each other, Black used this opportunity to strike the fox with his hammer. However, since the Overseer was conscious again, the fox didn't just stand still.

The fox launched its own attack, intent on killing Black with this strike. It ignored its own existence to launch this strike. Even if it lost 80% of its Energy, as long as Black died, it would be worth it.

Kyle's mind went through countless calculations, and he realized that he was in a dire situation.

'There's no way Red will survive. Red simply doesn't have enough Energy to deal with her strike, which means I have to go all-in on Black. However, Black can't fight the Overseer and her fox at the same time. Yet, to kill the fox, I would need to invest a brutal amount of Energy.'

'There's no other way. I have to risk it and bet big!'

The saber almost reached Red's chest, countless images of warring beasts inside its trail.

Red shouted with rage as his hammer swung forward.

Black mist gathered around Red and his hammer. In an instant, the black mist consumed Red's body and hammer, turning them into white mist. The saber passed through the space Red's body had just occupied.

When the Overseer saw that, she gritted her teeth.

It was a suicide attack!

The white and black mist gathered and formed a whirlpool. In the center of the whirlpool, a shining grey light appeared.

Red had turned half of his remaining Energy into Death and had fused it with the other half.

Death and Energy interacted with each other and created something new.

Brutality.

BOOOOM!

An explosion of pure destruction covered the Overseer. The reality around her stopped making sense as the Energy comprising reality was broken on a fundamental level. Energy could only be destroyed by combining with Death to create Brutality, but it couldn't be destroyed by Brutality itself. Brutality simply broke Energy into pieces and scattered the pieces.

Bits of Energy shot out of the Overseer's body as she resisted the strike. Luckily, she didn't lose a lot. Red hadn't had a lot of Energy left to begin with. Brutality might be the most powerful force in existence, but it still needed a certain number of resources to actually kill someone as powerful as the Overseer. On Earth, antimatter was the strongest source of Energy, but if one detonated just an attogram of it, no human would die from the explosion.

Nevertheless, the Overseer lost some of her Energy, but it barely made a difference. She would recover the lost Energy in no time at all. The important thing was that Red was dead.

Reality around the Overseer repaired in almost an instant, and she quickly focused on Black.

BOOOOOM!

Black's hammer struck the reality around the fox, annihilating it in an instant.

When the Overseer saw that, her eyes widened in shock and horror. Based on how things were going, the fox's attack should have severely injured Black! In fact, the attack should have hit Black before Black's attack could hit the fox!

Why was Black uninjured?!

That was when she realized the true purpose of Red's suicidal strike.

'He wasn't trying to kill me with the explosion! He was breaking the reality around me to cut the connection between me and my familiar!'

Just when the Overseer had been covered in Brutality, the fox had lost most of its intelligence. Its attack had lost all of its adaptability, and Black had easily sidestepped it. Sidestepping an attack was only difficult when the opponent changed the trajectory of their attack based on how the opponent moved.

As the reality around the fox broke, it turned into streams of chaotic Immortal Elemental Energies.

The Overseer tried to use her Domain to heal her fox, but she noticed something terrifying.

Her Domain was clashing with Black's Domain!

Black's Domain was no longer contained within his body! Instead, it covered almost half of the world!

Her Domain simply couldn't reach the Energies of her fox!

Domains were a representation of one's Spirit, and as explained earlier, Spirits grew weaker as the owner lost Energy. Black had 80% of his Energy left, while the Overseer only had 10% of her Energy left.

This weakened the power of the Overseer's Domain drastically, and it could no longer suppress Black's Domain.

The Overseer tried to pull her fox's Energy back to her, wanting to absorb it. Even if the Energy had lost her will, it was still her Energy. Even after getting hit by Black's Refined Law, the fox would have enough Energy to refill the Overseer's storages to 20% of their maximum. Naturally, Black would also absorb some, but that was fine. His Energy would just increase to his maximum, which was just a bit more than he had now, but her Energy would double.

But then, she noticed something else.

When Black had struck her foxes in the past, she hadn't had any issues with controlling their Energies, but now...

She couldn't interact with the Energy at all!

Surprisingly, Black also couldn't interact with the Energy.

The reason for this change was simple.

In all of the earlier strikes, Black had struck the fox with his hammer. This time, he had struck the reality around the fox.

This strike was identical to the one Kyle had used while defining his existence. The reality of Ayuvar had received a hole, a Spatial Tear.

The Spatial Tear tore at the fox's Energy and consumed it within an instant. Almost all of the fox's Energy was used to repair the Spatial Tear, while the remainder was chaotically scattered across the surroundings. The forces had pulled the Energies apart, turning them into regular, ownerless Energies.

All three foxes were gone.

Red was gone.

Only Black and the Overseer remained.

The Overseer had 10% of her maximum Energy, while Black had 80% of his maximum Energy.
