Black immediately charged towards the Overseer. This was his only opportunity to win the fight! As an Immortal, the Overseer's regeneration speed outclassed his regeneration speed by ten times. Both of them could regenerate 10% of their Energy in the same amount of time, but 10% of the Overseer's Energy equated to 100% of Black's Energy.
He needed to end this fight, and he had to end it quickly!
The Overseer also realized this and shot into the distance.
As long as she could outlast Black, she would win!
Kyle wouldn't be able to create a second Avatar within a short time, but she could regenerate her Energy very quickly.
The Overseer's speed was superior to Kyle's speed. There was no way that he would be able to catch up with her.
The fight was over.
She had won.
"If you run, I will break the reality once again and leave!" Kyle transmitted. "If you refuse to fight, I will make certain that nobody will ever help you escape! You will be stuck here for all of eternity!"
Escaping had been her goal for an eternity! The only reason why this was even a possibility was that nobody in the Supreme World knew about her. No one had ascended from this world in an eternity.
In the Supreme World, she could make a name for herself and do whatever she wanted. Yet, all of that would be impossible if Kyle escaped. With Kyle's immense talent, every Organization would accept him. To keep him loyal and happy, they would fulfill some of his wishes, and this wish was not hard to fulfill.
They just needed to keep an eye out for the Ascension Pool connected to this world and Ayuvar's physical location in the Supreme World. As soon as anyone appeared in either place, they could contact Kyle and act according to his wishes. They wouldn't even need to invest a lot. Two advanced Formation Arrays were more than enough.
On top of that, surviving would be much harder. Right now, every group from the Supreme World that entered Ayuvar was clueless. They had no information about this world.
Yet, if Kyle told them everything about Ayuvar, they could enter with prepared plans. The Overseer didn't know how capable the Higher Supreme Organizations were, but she knew that they had to be extremely capable.
She had to kill Kyle!
However, attacking him right now was extremely risky. They had similar levels of total Energy right now, and she knew that Kyle's Battle-Strength was higher than hers. There was a high chance that she would die.
If she could just recover a bit more Energy!
"Fine! Have it your way!" Kyle transmitted as Black's hammer prepared another swing. "I'll be back!"
The Overseer almost exploded with frustration and turned around. She knew that there was a chance that Kyle was bluffing, but she doubted it.
She knew that Kyle knew that he was on a time limit. If the Overseer managed to get to 20% of her total Energy, she would be the favorite in the battle, and if she managed to get to 50%, Kyle wouldn't even be able to leave Ayuvar.
If she didn't attack him, he would leave right now!
The two of them reached each other in almost an instant. Both of them had recovered 2% of their total Energy during the chase, closing the gap between them a little bit.
As they reached each other, their Domains started a battle of supremacy. Both of them controlled half of their surroundings.
Since Kyle's Domain could finally expand into the world, he could finally use its powers. The Primordial Forces within Kyle's Domain locked up, turning into their most stable forms. Breaking and warping space became almost impossible. Time moved at a steady pace. Gravity was uniform.
The potential of the Primordial Forces was consumed...
And turned into raw strength for Black.
On a baseline, Black's physical power was lower than the Overseer's physical power. Yet, with the help of his Domain, this gap was closed.
The Overseer's speed was still superior, but only while she was inside her Domain. If she were to attack, her attack would need to stretch into Kyle's Domain, which would slow it considerably.
Black's hammer turned red as a trail of hate-filled specters was left behind.
When the Overseer saw these specters, a profound feeling of fear spread through her. For some reason, she felt like she had to avoid this attack at all costs! However, she also knew that she could hit Black before he could hit her. She could kill him.
But then, she remembered that the same thing had happened when she had attacked Red. Red had sacrificed 80% of his body, and he had still hit her with his attack.
This meant that Black might die, but it wasn't certain. Yet, what was certain was that she would get hit by the attack, and she knew that she wouldn't survive it.
In the end, she pulled her attack back and moved to the side, avoiding the hammer.
Kyle's mind exploded with excitement and conviction when he saw her avoiding his attack. In truth, he had barely put any Energy into the attack. He had been hoping that the Overseer's earlier experience with Karmic Calamity would terrify her so much that she would avoid this strike. If she had called Kyle's bluff, he would be in a lot of trouble.
Kyle had bet his life, and he had bet correctly!
Black's eyes narrowed as one of his hands let go of the hammer to point at the Overseer.
Death and Energy gathered in his hands as his Energy reserves dropped by almost 50%!
The Overseer's eyes widened in horror.
Black was about to use Brutality again, and this time, he used ten times as much Energy!
"Go die," Black transmitted.
The white and black mists combined, and after just a short moment...
BOOOOM!
A stream of absolute destruction shot towards the Overseer.
In response, the Overseer summoned all of her belongings into the space between her and the attack, but the two of them were so close to each other that almost nothing stood between her and the attack.
The beam of Brutality broke through sabers, metals, and other weapons within an instant, barely weakening.
The beam broke through the Overseer's crossed arms and tucked legs. She minimized the area on which the beam could hit her.
Parts of her torso and head turned into broken Energy, but the beam continued.
The Overseer's life flashed in front of her eyes.
She remembered getting caught by a human hunter when she had just been a young fox. Luckily, she had been sold to a caring researcher. Yes, she had to go through some experiments, but other than that, life was good.
Then, the researcher left home in a hurry, leaving her behind. Minutes later, soldiers charged into the study, destroying half of the house. She tried to defend her home, but the soldiers just took her with them and sold her.
Life became hell, but eventually, she managed to escape. Through countless battles, she grew stronger, and eventually, she had changed her body to look like a human's body.
She rejoined human society, and over the years, she learned what it meant to be human. Her power increased even further, and eventually, she became an Immortal.
That was when everything became horrible.
She was trapped.
An eternity of stagnation and failed attempts to escape.
Everything was clouded in an unchanging and lethargic grey.
Then, this group from the Supreme World had arrived, and the grey split into blacks and whites.
Moments of immense hope.
Moments of immense despair.
Her mind thought of Kyle, Fierce Breaker, Swamp Dragon, and the Will of Death.
These four had given her so much hope and so much despair.
That was when she remembered Swamp Dragon's words, and she realized the true meaning behind them.
The beam of Brutality weakened, leaving behind a broken head and a bit of chest.
The Overseer's Energy had dropped to 3% of her total, while Black still had 35%.
She was still alive, but...
She couldn't put up a fight.
