Chapter 107: Chapter 107: Marrow Cleansing

What surprised her even more was the Spiritual Spring!

The mouth of the spring had noticeably widened, and a faint, ethereal mist drifted above it. The mist flowed gently as if it had a mind of its own, enveloping the entire courtyard and transforming it into a wonderland amidst the swirling vapor.

Rollo and the calves were happily chasing each other around. When they noticed the white mist actively retreating from them, they grew excited, immediately turning and running toward the foot of the mountain as if patrolling their own territory.

Nearby, the Little Tiger was exceptionally well-behaved. It lay quietly in its nest, its lively eyes focused intently on the newly grown tree not far away.

Luna Dawson was instantly engulfed in immense joy. Her figure suddenly vanished from beneath the tree and teleported to the edge of the Spiritual Spring.

Her thoughts surged wildly. She guessed that this was the Spiritual Spring’s true state. She could feel the spiritual energy contained within the spring washing over her face. Its effects were probably even stronger now!

She leaned over and took a sniff, the crisp, sweet fragrance filling her nose. Hurriedly, she scooped up a handful of water and took a sip. The refreshing sweetness instantly coated her mouth and slid down her throat. An indescribable sense of comfort flowed through her, leaving her entire body feeling as light as if she were floating on clouds.

Her eyes widened. At this moment, she felt completely bursting with power. Feeling the warm current of water flowing through all the meridians in her body, she experienced the bizarre sensation of having her energy channels completely opened up!

She wondered if this was the legendary effect of cleansing the marrow and purifying the body.

The smile never left the corners of her mouth. Sure enough, her sixth sense wasn’t wrong: the large tree and the dimension were definitely connected!

Just as she was immersed in the joy of the upgraded spring water, she noticed a disgusting, sticky black liquid oozing out of her arm. Immediately after, it began seeping from every pore of her body, and even the grass beneath her feet was stained with quite a bit of grime.

She looked as if she had just been dragged out of a stinking ditch. A sour, putrid stench continuously wafted off her. Luna was so grossed out by herself that she quickly took a few steps back and flashed back into the villa’s bathroom.

Looking in the mirror, she saw that she was pitch black from head to toe, her pink slip nightgown a sticky, ruined mess!

Flustered, Luna hurriedly stripped off her clothes, stuffed them into a bag, and tossed them into the trash can.

She turned on the showerhead and scrubbed herself from head to toe, not stopping until she had gone through several rounds of shampoo and body wash.

Leaving the bathroom door open, Luna waited quietly for the steam inside to slowly dissipate.

She walked over to the vanity mirror and stood still, carefully checking to see if she had washed herself clean. The moment she clearly saw the figure in the mirror, she completely froze.

Deep shock surged in her eyes. She subconsciously raised a hand to cover her mouth, her breathing growing faint.

She had always been on the fairer side, but now her skin was even more translucent and delicate, glowing with a soft, lustrous sheen like the finest mutton-fat jade. A faint rosy blush peeked through the white, and incredibly, not a single pore was visible.

Her peach-blossom eyes, with their slightly upturned outer corners, looked even more lively; it seemed as if starlight flickered within them every time she shifted her gaze. Her long, curled eyelashes cast faint shadows whenever they fluttered.

Her lips were a natural cherry blossom pink, as plump as ripe cherries.

She subconsciously curled her lips upward. As a slight smile bloomed, it instantly brought her entire face to life, making her so radiant that it was impossible to look away.

Luna stared blankly at her reflection. Her fingers gently brushed against her cheek, the touch warm and smooth. Only then did she realize that this was the real her.

She had been so captivated by her own reflection that it took her quite a while to snap out of it. The Spiritual Spring actually possessed beauty-enhancing and youth-preserving effects!

Luna put on some clothes and returned to the courtyard. Her mind was entirely consumed with how her superpower was doing; she needed to become stronger, stronger, and stronger.

First, she threw a few punches to test the waters. Both her strength and speed had noticeably increased. Excellent!

Next, she summoned high-speed Water Bombs in her palms, making them spin even faster than before. She curled her lips into a satisfied smile.

For the rest of her time, her routine was simple: practice, rest, practice, rest...

She also took the time to let Rollo and the Little Tiger drink the upgraded spring water, allowing them to experience the effects of marrow cleansing and body purification.

Rollo was so overwhelmed by its own stench that it almost immediately jumped into the river. Luna grabbed it by the scruff of the neck and teleported into the bathroom with both pets in her arms. She absolutely couldn’t let their stench kill off the fish and shrimp in her river!

What was even more shocking was that ever since finishing its bath, Rollo had been whining and constantly nuzzling against her hand.

Little Sweet Potato lay on top of the now fragrant Rollo’s head and said happily, "It’s about to level up! It wants Crystal Cores!"

Luna was shocked, but then it made sense to her. Recently, Little Sweet Potato and Rollo had spent the most time in the dimension and had the best relationship. The Little Tiger had only eaten one Evolution Fruit, whereas Rollo had eaten at least five or six.

On top of that, Rollo always loved using its superpower to herd the pigs and chase the chickens. Without realizing it, it had spent far more time exercising its superpower than anyone else!

Overjoyed, Luna filled Rollo’s little dog bed with Crystal Cores. Rollo happily wagged its tail, spun around in circles a few times, and obediently ran into the bed to absorb the Crystal Cores.

Time flew by in a flash.

Rollo successfully advanced to the Third Rank, and Luna, too, lost all track of time in the dimension. She was just practicing her superpower in a T-shirt and shorts when she suddenly heard someone knocking on her bedroom door from outside the dimension.

She extended her Spirit threads outward to investigate. Surprisingly, it was Rhonda Dawson.

She quickly changed into a set of loungewear, exited the dimension, and opened the door.

Rhonda completely lacked her usual gentle poise and crisp efficiency. She looked as if someone had hit the pause button on her. She opened her mouth, her gaze glued to Luna’s face as if she were meeting the person in front of her for the very first time.

"Luna?"

Her voice was light and soft, tinged with a hint of uncertainty.

Luna found her staring somewhat amusing. "What’s wrong?"

Rhonda looked at her with a blank stare, her voice several pitches higher than normal. "What happened to you? What changed? Why are you so beautiful!"

"I secretly did some cosmetic procedures on myself!" Luna blinked playfully, then added, "I don’t have enough experience right now, but I’ll help you next time."

She figured she had to wait until she reached the Third Rank to have a reasonable excuse for letting the rest of the family drink this upgraded spirit spring water. That way, its appearance wouldn’t seem too abrupt.

For now, the Crystal Core Solution in the dimension was still sufficient. She needed to hurry up and advance to the next rank!

Rhonda finally snapped out of her daze a little. "Okay, okay... Why did you sleep so late? It’s almost one o’clock and you still weren’t awake. Auntie asked me to come check on you."

Luna smiled and took Rhonda’s hand, and the two of them went downstairs together.

Everyone in the dining room was already seated and waiting for lunch to start. Catching sight of the arrivals out of the corner of their eyes, they glanced up.

But with just that one glance, everyone froze for a moment, their eyes landing uniformly on Luna.

Normally, the two Dawson girls were each beautiful in their own way. Rhonda was tall, fair-skinned, and gorgeous with long legs, exuding an aura of mature, gentle charm.

Luna, on the other hand, leaned toward a sweet, bright aesthetic. Her eyes were especially captivating whenever she smiled. Yet today’s Luna possessed a lustrous spiritual quality far beyond her usual self, rendering her so stunning that no one could look away!

The cluster of Shine Muscat grapes in Aaron Palmer’s hand dropped onto the dining table with a PLOP. The plump grapes rolled all over the table, but he was completely oblivious. He just stared unblinkingly at Luna, his mouth slightly ajar.

Kevin Keane was even more directly frozen in place. His usually calm eyes were locked onto Luna’s figure. His gaze carried a nearly greedy, scorching intensity. His Adam’s apple bobbed unconsciously, and his fingertips curled slightly as a strong surge of possessiveness abruptly rose from the depths of his heart.

Luna was wearing nothing more than the simplest loungewear, completely makeup-free, yet she was incomparably moving. He actually just wanted to lock her away completely!

He didn’t want anyone else to ever lay eyes on her again!
