Dragon Transformation’s voice teared up as he begged, saying, "Please save me. I don’t want to die."

"I’ll do anything you want me to do. Just save me. Please, help me."

He reached out his hand towards Loki for help. But Loki refused his pleas for help.

Loki watched his figure slowly crumble and shatter. There was no pleasure in doing this. But there was no discomfort either.

In Dragon Transformation’s final moment, he heard Loki say, "It is nothing personal. It is just business."

If it had been Money Body dying, he would have enjoyed the process of watching the money cultivator die. But he had no grudge against Dragon Transformation, so the death of this transformation warrior was only a means to an end.

The end goal that he worked for finally appeared when Dragon Transformation died. His Speed Supreme Metac became free for the taking.

Just like Dragon Transformation had reached out his hand in his last moment, Loki reached his hand towards the Supreme Metac. But while he hadn’t responded to Dragon Transformation, the Supreme Metac responded to him.

In fact, it was as if he had beaconed, and the Supreme Metac responded. It flew over to him obediently. Then it was calmly assimilated by the spark of fusion.

As the Speed Supreme Metac fused with him, the knowledge of its rules and framework rushed into his mind. Subsequently, his mastery of the Speed Pathway shot through the roof.

He closed his eyes to savor the knowledge. He let it wash through his existence and baptize him. He was completely focused as the rules of operation of this pathway opened up another area of reality to him.

When his mastery and understanding of the pathway reached its limit, his horizon of the operation of the world had been broadened and expanded.

This made him say confidently, "I should be able to produce my own Supreme Metac now. But I think I should wait for the information from Time Traveler before I make it. That way, I may be able to avoid the same limits that I’ve been encountering so far in Supreme Metacs."

He has made a Supreme Metac before. It was the Devouring Supreme Metac. However, the credit for that work wasn’t entirely his.

The end product and the rules of operation had already been baked into Fenrir when he upgraded it to rank 9. So if he is creating a new Supreme Metac, he will have to come up with his own end product and rules.

The requirement for new rules is not difficult for him. Three rank 8 cultivators with quasi-supreme mastery of a pathway were able to manage it. He now has supreme mastery of three different pathways, so determining an end goal and defining its rules of operations can’t be difficult for him.

However, he doesn’t plan to create something limited like the three Supreme Metacs he has encountered so far. He wants to create something capable of infinite potential and size.

His experience with Money Body and Dragon Transformation has made him realize that Supreme Metacs were not equal. It has also made him determined to create a Supreme Metac without equal.

Right now, he doesn’t have the information needed to do something like that. So he wants to have a chat with Time Walker and pick the fallen Dao Lord’s brain about how to go about accomplishing an infinite Supreme Metac.

Since there is nothing left for him to do in the second heaven, he decided to go down to the river of death for that meeting. But first, he activated the Power Identification Ability.

The main differences between his state when he ate the entire Crystal City were clear to him as soon as he saw his attributes. He saw that his lifespan had fallen, his Cave Heaven had grown in size, his law fragments had reached 1,000% amplification, Fenrir had gained some extra Divine Metacs, and he had gained a new Supreme Metac.

There were other obscure changes, such as the Domination Supreme Metac reaching the limit, but this was not worth paying much attention to.

In all of these changes, two of them stood out to him far more than the others. These two were the changes to the size of his Cave Heaven and the level of amplification from fragments in the Cave Heaven.

These two changes made him nod in satisfaction and say, "This will be the first time I’ve reached 1,000% amplification. If I’m not wrong, that’s about the level of amplification that the Dao Lord used to attack me last time."

But then he frowned and said, "I don’t exactly feel like a Dao Lord with this level of amplification, though. And I don’t feel any different, even though my Cave Heaven is not three times the limit that the Dao Lords imposed on us. What is it that I’m missing here?"

"Do I need something else to initiate the change in my Cave Heaven? Or did I read too much into the limit on Cave Heavens? Maybe the Dao Lords only placed that limit on us to make us weak and unable to break free from their control. Maybe there is no grand conspiracy in it like the rule limiting divine beings to four Divine Positions."
