As his body fell through the ground, he activated the Obscuring Mist Divine Metac. This caused a mist to appear and shroud his figure.

The mist would make it difficult for anyone to identify and track him. But he also activated the Invisibility Cloak for good measure.

The Invisibility Cloak put a layer of force around him that refracts all wavelengths of light. This should render him invisible to the perception of most divine beings.

He did this in an attempt to make it difficult for the five sects to keep track of his movements. As for whether it would work, he wasn’t sure.

When his body came out into the second dimension, he took off in the direction of the meeting spot.

He was anxious to meet Time Walker, but he didn’t use his full power to travel to the spot. Instead, he maintained a speed befitting a rank 8 cultivator.

Actually, he had wanted to pretend to be a rank 6 divine being. But he felt that no one would be fooled into thinking that a dragon capable of killing so many rank 8 cultivators would be at rank 6.

He had some free time on his hands, so he decided to use it to review the difference between a rank 8 divine being who uses Divine Metacs for power and a rank 9 being who uses a Supreme Metac for power.

As he thought about this, he said to himself, ’The first difference is in stats. A rank 8 cultivator can only mobilize stats that they have Divine Metacs for. On the other hand, a rank 9 being with a Supreme Metac can mobilize all of their stats.’

’The second difference is the amplification of the Supreme Metac. Every Divine Metac can be enhanced by the Supreme Metac. This enhances the power of a rank 9 being in ways that a rank 8 divine being can’t fathom.’

’The third disadvantage that rank 8 divine beings have is that they can only combine a maximum of five Divine Positions. This is because they only have five stats, and two Divine Positions can’t mobilize the same stat.’

’If there is any advantage that rank 8 divine beings have, it is that they can combine Divine Metacs. Rank 9 divine beings like me can at most combine the power of the Supreme Metac with that of a single Divine Metac.’

’But this isn’t much of an advantage since Divine Metacs have already been combined within the Supreme Metac. So, rank 9 beings don’t need to be able to combine Divine Metacs anymore.’

Because of these differences, the maximum power of a rank 8 divine being with a Cave Heaven with a size of 3,000 million square kilometers and an amplification of 900% from their law fragments can never compare with the power of a rank 9 being with the same Cave Heaven and the same amount of law fragments.

The power of the rank 8 divine being will be 8(Cultivation Rank) × (8(Body) + 8(Mind) + 8(Will) + 8(Soul) + 8(Insight)) × ((8 × 5)Divine Metac) × 3,000 million(Cave Heaven) × 10(Law Fragment), which was 384,000,000 units of divine power.

In comparison, the minimum power of a rank 9 divine being with the weakest Supreme Metac that barely met the minimum requirement will be 9(Cultivation Rank) × (9(Body) + 9(Mind) + 9(Will) + 9(Soul) + 9(Insight)) × (9(Supreme Metac) × 9(Divine Metac)) × 3,000 million(Cave Heaven) × 10(Law Fragment), which was 984,150,000 units of divine power.

This rank 9 divine being would be someone like Money Body from the previous timeline. That Money Body had managed to create a Supreme Metac with a volume of 10 units. But even if he met the barest minimum of 9 units, he would still be 2.56 times stronger than the best that a rank 8 cultivator is capable of.

Of course, this is with the Supreme Metac using its direct rank 9 power. If it had enhanced a rank 8 Divine Metac instead, the power output would be 9(Cultivation Rank) × (9(Body) + 9(Mind) + 9(Will) + 9(Soul) + 9(Insight)) × (9(Supreme Metac) × 8(Divine Metac)) × 3,000 million(Cave Heaven) × 10(Law Fragment), which was 874,800,000 units of divine power.

This power won’t be as great as using the innate ability that came with the Supreme Metac, but it would still be 2.28 higher than whatever a rank 8 divine being could muster.

As for himself, there has been only one occasion when he needed to use his Supreme Metac to enhance any Divine Metac, and that was in the previous timeline when the Dao Lord of the Four Directions Sect tried to kill him.

Unfortunately, his power wasn’t enough to resist back then. As for whether it will be enough to resist now, it is not yet certain.

One thing that is certain is that because of the large volume of Fenrir, he doesn’t need Fenrir to enhance any Divine Metac before he can take down any rank 8 divine being. He can use Fenrir alone to bring down any rank 8 cultivator.

As this thought went through his mind, he chuckled and said, "No wonder they thought I was a Dao Lord. My strength has broken their understanding, and only Dao Lords can do that. So they equated me to a Dao Lord."
