"Min-seo!? What is she doing here!?"
’Forget about that... Why... Why she can use her full power here!? Shouldn’t her abilities be restricted in this place!?’
Min-seo gave the undead a smug grin.
"I hope you’re all ready to face me after laying a hand on my oppa!"
In the next instant, her body transformed into a bolt of lightning.
She shot through the thousands of undead surrounding them.
One after another, every undead struck by her lightning instantly crumbled into ashes.
The undead tried to chase after her, but their speed was nothing compared to Min-seo’s.
She constantly shifted between her physical form and lightning itself.
She kicked one undead straight in the head.
Its body flew backward, crashing into several others.
Lightning crackled around her kick.
"Hahaha! It’s been a long time since I’ve moved around like this!"
She laughed while beating down the undead one after another.
Her tight villain outfit allowed her to move more freely, making her even faster.
"Hmm... There are more of you than I expected..."
After saying that, Min-seo gathered lightning into her hand.
The undead charged toward her.
Without hesitation, she punched the undead directly in front of her.
The lightning from her fist flowed into the undead she had struck.
It rapidly spread...
Then spread even farther.
The undead convulsed violently before turning into ashes.
Nearly half of the remaining horde vanished in an instant.
A massive undead wielding an enormous greatsword suddenly leaped toward Min-seo.
"Heh... That’s quite a jump."
Min-seo casually raised half of her right arm before clenching her fist.
A bolt of lightning descended from the sky.
It struck the giant undead while it was still airborne.
Its body instantly disintegrated into ashes.
Just then—
An undead appeared behind Min-seo.
Its fist glowed with a crimson aura as it prepared to strike her.
But the moment its punch reached her...
It never touched her body.
It couldn’t even graze her clothes.
A wall of blue lightning blocked its fist.
It was as though Min-seo’s body was protected by a shield made entirely of lightning.
She smirked.
Turning around, she looked directly at the undead.
"Hmm? Looks like you’re having trouble getting out. Let me help."
Her leg became wrapped in crackling lightning.
Then she kicked the undead square in the head.
Its body was launched through the air before turning into ashes.
At that exact moment—
Min-seo sensed an overwhelming force rushing toward her.
A crimson beam shot at her at incredible speed.
High above, the superior undead hovered in the sky.
Min-seo smiled even wider.
Just before the beam reached her...
She transformed into lightning once again.
As a streak of lightning, she circled around the crimson beam, racing toward its source.
The superior undead.
She closed the distance in an instant.
The moment she reached it, she returned to her human form.
Her fist, wrapped in brilliant blue lightning, shot forward.
The superior undead’s eyes widened in shock.
Then—
BOOM!
Min-seo’s punch smashed directly into its face.
An enormous shockwave exploded from the impact.
The surrounding area trembled.
The undead’s head vanished completely.
Only its body remained.
Before it could even hit the ground...
It turned into ashes.
Her short golden hair fluttered in the wind.
Under the eerie glow of the three green moons...
Min-seo looked like a goddess descending from the heavens.
She turned toward Jinhoo, who was struggling to move on top of a rooftop.
Without wasting another second, she transformed into lightning and rushed toward him.
She appeared right in front of him.
"Hi, oppa!"
she greeted him with a sweet smile.
"Ugh... Hi to you too... Could you help me get down? I barely have any energy left..."
"Of course!"
With that, Min-seo helped Jinhoo climb down from the rooftop.
Once they reached the ground, Jinhoo finally spoke.
"Min-seo, what are you doing here?"
"Uh... I missed you!"
"Huh... Yeah, yeah... Thanks."
Jinhoo looked up at the three green moons.
"Do you see those...? Do you know anything about this?"
"Hmm... Not really. But one thing is certain."
She pointed around them.
"This is all happening inside your mind, oppa."
Jinhoo blinked.
"Uh... What do you mean?"
"I mean you’re inside your own mind right now."
His confusion only deepened.
He removed his mask.
"Inside... my mind?"
"Yep! I accidentally found you unconscious inside that bedroom in the palace. You were lying on the floor. I tried checking on you, but some kind of magic surrounded you and forced me into your mind."
"...Okay... I think I’m starting to understand. But... how did you even get inside my mind?"
"Oppa, did you forget? I’m Min-seo! I can control lightning however I want! I turned myself into tiny lightning particles and entered your mind through your brain’s nerves."
Hearing that, Jinhoo still looked slightly confused, though he understood part of her explanation.
"Alright... I get it."
’So this is all inside my mind... That means everything here is just an illusion... No wonder I couldn’t use my full strength here... And that also explains why I couldn’t talk to my other self.’
He turned toward Min-seo.
"Alright... Then how do we get out of here?"
"Hmm... No idea."
Jinhoo stared at her with a slightly disappointed expression.
Min-seo quickly waved her hands.
"Oh, come on! Don’t look at me like that! Fine, fine! How about I electrocute you? Maybe that’ll wake you up."
"Hmm... That’s... a rather reckless idea, but we don’t have many options left. Alright... let’s try it."
Min-seo placed both hands on Jinhoo’s head.
"P-Please... be gentle... This is... honestly terrifying..."
"Relax! It’ll probably just feel like pins and needles... Or maybe getting bitten by a tiger."
For a brief second, Jinhoo felt relieved.
Then she mentioned the tiger.
Cold sweat immediately ran down his face.
In the distance, the remaining undead began charging toward them.
"U-Ugh! Just do it already!"
Jinhoo shouted in panic.
"Alright! I’ll count. One... Two..."
Jinhoo closed his eyes.
But Min-seo never continued counting.
She immediately shocked him with lightning.
Jinhoo’s entire body convulsed violently from the electricity.
The next instant—
His eyes snapped open.
He found himself back inside the bedroom.
Right in front of him, Min-seo was kneeling on the floor.
"Oppa! Are you alright?"
"Ugh... Yeah... Th-thanks for shocking me... I managed to come back."
"Hehe! No problem!"
’Ugh... "Pins and needles" or "getting bitten by a tiger," my foot... That felt more like getting chewed alive by a T-Rex...’
Jinhoo slowly stood up.
His head was still throbbing.
"Ugh..."
He held his forehead.
Min-seo immediately moved over to support him.
As Jinhoo took a few steps, it felt as though he was walking across shattered glass.
He looked down.
Scattered across the floor were the broken fragments of the blue orb he had crushed earlier.
’So that’s it... That damn orb was what triggered all of this... Lesson learned... I shouldn’t go around destroying things without thinking first.’
